BMW M3 Mods:
Downpipes
MHD OTS Stage 2+ 93 tune ( Estimated to be around 500 whp and low 500 tq )
1st race was from 40 MPH

Same thing i said. Its cool with its DCT rear engine and being a newer car but its 3600lbs with less then 500hp and N/A. It will get smoked by a lot these days

It’s simply a testament to the competitiveness displayed on this channel. People put in some wrench time and good computer dialing. Takes more than driving a very nice c8 off the showroom floor and just kinda going at it.
This is mine. I mean I have 2 fully modded out and tuned cars also, but just kept this stock.

we knew the outcome before hand, the M3 is no joke stock, and this was modified. C8's can run low 11's stock, but each car it will race here are modded. no hope.

As a corvette fan I honestly don’t think a stock c8 can beat a stock m3 from a roll now stock for stock from a dig I vote c8 but a modded twin turbo car is to much unless your racing a Porsche

the base C8 is faster than the C8 Z51. and the Carrera S is faster than both. but at 1/4 mile it's pretty close

@@bigneutron77 It would only need about 15-10k in mods to beat an m3 like that. Remember this is the base model rental car corvette. When the z06 version comes out it will dominate the street even in stock form.

GM should have not heavily locked the ECU of the new C8, hopefully it’s cracked, but that BMW gapped the C8 really bad

Trifecta performance just announced that they cracked the C8 ECU. However they admit that so far the gains are very minimal.
@@davepg4173 I imagine full bolt ons and an e85 tune would give it some decent gains, I saw what they had to say and the dyno results.
GM did a fan fantastic job on these C8’s.
It may not be *that* quick in comparison, but they are damn quick for a stock car.

F80 M3 on stage 2 from MHD is a monster. I have had mine 17 F80 Competition DCT with stage 1 MHD and the car was properly fast. 100kmh-200kmh in 7.55 seconds even without catless downpipes, just stage 1 MHD on 93 octane

With no tuning available it has a huge disadvantage.. either do dig runs only or race other top model stock cars.
A Company in Europe just cracked the ecu, you will see them coming soon to the streets with good mods

Maybe the MB from the last race would be a good match for the BMW. The stock C8 is at a big disadvantage against modified cars.

This is my stingray actually. And I did put a deposit on a Z06 in Michigan almost 2 years ago. They only filled 2/300 orders... Definitely happy I got the z51 at least!
I like that he has the side intake piece painted body color, I was never a fan of that piece being blacked out, never understood the appeal. I think it looks so much better like this, let the natural shadows provide contrast, adding so many contrast parts is just like trying to hard, it's not attractive.

Sadly, My is38 ‘16 Jetta GLI has pulled on a stock c8 on the interstate. Went into it fully expecting to get walked, ended up making my week. Now i try to challenge each one i see😅.

The first company was just able to crack the ECU apparently. If that carries over to the Z06 as well it's definitely gunna hurt some feelings.

When the C8 Vette got revealed, I was shaking with excitement. It was so good looking, and for the money, its performance was incredible. And then its price got more expensive, and ore expensive, and more expensive, to where a regular C8 Vette was selling for over $110k. The market completely ruined the C8 Vette for me. There's a point to where a car just doesn't become worth it anymore, and once it hit over $90k, I was wholly disinterested. Cool car, and I can't say that I don't look at every single one that I see on the road (even thought the base models look very cheap tbh), but knowing how much they are, it's just not worth it IMO. I don't care how it performs. It's a Chevy Corvette, not an exotic. Hell, its not even the Z06, of which the C7 Z06 was selling brand new for under $100k. So let that sink in. The mid-tier special Vette model of the previous generation was selling for less than a base model C8 Vette. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Never has a Vette generation gone this bat shit crazy in price. Never...
