This is the first time I've watched any of your vids . The scenery grabbed my attention ..... the playing kept me glued . This should be me ..... for Both reasons 😁😁 . I love finger style on acoustic . Keep vids like these coming . This music would be Very well paired with road trip vlogs . Or even tourism videos.
Thanks so much! I (and my brothers who play guitar with me) have always loved the finger style playing. For decades we have listened to masters like Al Petteway, Doc Watson, etc. Even though we've never reached that level of playing, we enjoy trying 🙂
@@thomashayes3417 You're welcome. I am from the UK and we have a guy who plays this style at the open mic nights and it always goes down so well, especially with a few beers!
Thanks so much! And you are a fine flatpicker yourself - I hear Doc's playing very clearly! I was lucky enough to meet Doc a couple of times - he was one of a kind.
Beauty!
Thank you sir!

Yo this sounds great! An original that sounds like some old standard - proof that this type of music still has a lot to give.
thanx!
Lovely, and proof if ever it was needed that everyone should own a Taylor GS mini.
Thank you... and the GS Mini is an amazing sounding guitar. One would never guess the volume and tone they have just by looking at one. 👍
Well play mate !
thanks!
That sounds great! What's the name of the tune?
Abram Falls. It's an original tune.
@@jimhayes3935 Beautiful, well done! 🔥🎸😎
Nice! DADGAD?
Thanks! I think I'm tuned open C with the 1st string diminished. But using a capo I don't know the actual key.... It's all kind of confusing to me :-)
Fantastic!
Thank you! Cheers!
You’re awesome!
Thank you!

Must be some critters dancing back there somewhere. 👏

Thank you! It is open C tuning with the 1st string dropped 2....
That's some nice pickin', worth a sub me thinks.
Appreciate that! Thanks
Good tune!
Thanks buddy!
Mighty Fine

It is an original - something that just popped up in my head the other morning. I am in open C tuning - maybe that helps....
@@thomashayes3417 A new original? Dang, this sounds like a classic
