@@Media.ExpertPhoto I sold my Shenhao 617 as never like small ground glass to compose the image. Much easier with a 5x7. Good idea.

one other thing I noticed, you have the film holder's dark slide slot facing the sun, judging by the shadows of you on the ground! two options, take the ground glass frame OFF, rotate 180 Degrees so the slot for the holder is on the LEFT, it will shade the dark slide slot felt more, so no light leaks from this!! (esp. full sun), Or place the slide in front of the slit, perpendicular to the holder so it shades it.

at 18:54 you have to watch out for the water reflections, and the highlights, so use a hood, or ND filter, that way you don't white out the frame, I did this on my hasselblad, in EV 17 lighting conditions with a similar scene, in a botanic gardens, with water, sun, etc. so be careful.

Great first video! Question about your negatives, you say the image that you like is the 1/15 of a second. Wouldn’t the hotter image, the second negative be the 1/15? And the one you like the 1/30th of a second (less hot)?

More light makes the negative darker. Less light make the negative lighter. 1/15th of a second is more time (light) than 1/30th meaning that the 1/15th shot would appear to have more detail in the negative. Thank you for watching and also for asking a great question.

Dont blame ya. There are many times I just want to shoot digital. I enjoy the super slow process of large format.
