    This by far I think is the best way to teach and learn. Compared to just watching you play. Although watching the games are cool too. I wish you would teach openings reps the same way. Like going over in detail not only the basic opening moves, but the plan or strategy and type of middle game you typically get whenyou play that opening. when your trying to learn or put together an opening rep.
    Becauss if you really don't know your style, or how the middle and games you typically get playing that opening, once you have a good fit learning the variations on your own would be easy.once yo know your style or way you like to play.
    i think the overall plan and type of mid - end game positions information would be far better information for helping someone find a good opening rep, without first having to play or spend time learning some opening that doesn't fit thir play style. I appreciate the videos thanks Levey.

    At 8:45, one idea is,
    Knight f6+.
    1. If gxf6, then rook takes f6, threatening Qxg6+ followed by a nasty attack.
    If black plays knight c to e5, guarding g6, then rook to f7 forking the king and queen.
    If black plays queen to g7, then rook to f7 pinning the queen to the king.
    2. If black does not take the knight, black only has two moves, Kh6 and Kh8.
    If King h8, then rook to h4 is mate.
    And if Kh6, then Rh4+, Kg5, then queen d2 checkmate

    I need this. I am such an aggressive player but usually too a fault where I sac too much material without enough attack and end up just throwing the game. It’s fun but I lose more than I probably should

    At 8:31 wouldn't Nf6 be a good move? Because you check the king in hopes of g7xf6, Rxf6? And wouldn't that be a better position to be in? Maybe my brain isn't thinking far enough or taking into consideration a bunch of other options but that's just what I see. Also sorry if I got any of the moves wrong, I'm pretty new and not too familiarized with how they are worded and such

    @gothamchess can you make more videos on blindfold chess? I’m currently 930ish but a friend and I made goal for 2021 to play a whole game blindfold

    53:45 Don't wanna make you feel bad levy but i also saw it in two seconds without an engine xD
    but we gotta agree that watching a video while relaxed and think from home is way different from fighting a GM in a tournament and being so close to earning a title, i bet your heart was beating with a jackhammer.

    cxb2+; Kxb2; Qa3+;
    Would there be a way out?

    I watch a few chess channels and I always get the most strategy from watching yours. I've mostly been playing bots up until now, but I think I want to try a few more real games.
