I APOLOGIZE FOR MY SCUFFED NO CAM SETUP I was using Zoom for the first time in forever and couldn't seem to get my cam to work for both me and Levy simultaneously, I'll get techgod on it for the next lesson.
Twitch Streamer and International Master Levy Rozman generously offered to give me a little lesson to help boost my chess skill, and we ended up shooting the breeze for a couple hours in what I think was a very informative session. Check it out!

I think there could be some legitimate lessons in grass movements that could be very interesting for the audience though.

It's actually subscriber-only content on Gotham's Twitch channel. Which makes sense but I'm still glad they put it up for free on UA-cam. I can't give Twitch Prime to anyone else than NL.

I think that it's more the fact that NL's been working more towards expanding his business by actively asking people to leave a like, looking at comments and commenting himself that has brought about more activity. I didn't feel like leaving a like or commenting mattered that much especially since it puts a video into my "liked videos" playlist which I didn't feel like doing, but NL said it helped a lot so now I'm leaving a like even if I don't watch the video. He's always done new series and playing great games (Many of them not "niche" like Dark souls, Slay the spire, Mass effect, Sekiro, Fallout etc.) and I've been enjoying it for the last 7+ years but now that he's telling me exactly how to help you better believe I'm doing it. I would say more people have played some other games on this channel than played chess, but NL knew to capitalize on the ongoing trend brought about by the Queen's Gambit series.
If you'd told me 8 years ago when I started watching this channel that I'd watch the egg play chess and enjoy it I'd say you were crazy but here we are

I absolutely love NL chess content. I'd honestly be cool if chess replaced Isaac at this point. NL has so much to learn, he has so much potential, has so much natural talent... it's like watching a shounen on youtube unfold before my eyes.

You know how your brain works on problems in the background while you go about doing other things? This man's brain has been working out chess strategy in the background of over 1800 Isaac videos played entirely through muscle memory.

I come to this channel for a 40 minute excursion into pogtown with NL and I return having went to chess city, learning and laughing the whole way. I'm thankful for the whole two hour session, this chess content is seriously some of the best stuff on UA-cam for me right now!

I relaxed at the end of the evening by watching a two hour chess lesson, relived and re-evalutated my own 10-year old chess tutorship to how I would think now as a 30 year old man, learnt some core chess theory in the process, all the while enjoying someone else do the actual hard brain work of the whole experience. This is the level of pog I signed up for.
