- Mitsubishi and Hindustan motorsWere in collaboration in 1998 and entered in India. Mitsubishi made their first car The Lancer as a debut. However, due to its low sales made Mitsubishi to stop the production of their cars in India.
The one in this video is the Mitsubishi Pajero sport/Montero. Mitsubishi is Japanese car company. Pajero Was launched in 1996 and the one in this video is the second generation facelift model which was launched in 2017.
This is the diesel variant with automatic transmission which is 5-speed With paddle shifters but not the top of the trim which gets 4x4. There were total 3 variants. This Diesel engine is 2500cc engine producing 178hp and 350Nm(Automatic)torque and 400Nm in Manual.
Overall it was a tough competitor for Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour. Quite spacious and punchy performance full size off-road car.

Part: see, it all depends on u or ex owner..how he use that beast..small parts r easily available but major parts can take sometime to reached...still im not facing major problem 😉..
@@mjt6782 even my dad have 2018 XUV500 AT model...n u should must know..that JDM engine live..it long as it go..like toyota...even v have also fortuner 2015 model n ford endeavor 3.2cc....but i use only my beast PAJERO SPORT AT...

Front wheel drive. Dude get underneath the vehicle. Do you know what an inline 4 is with a gearbox behind the motor, a drive shaft and a rear diff is?

Is it a full time 4wd
Well it has a super select 4x4 where you can make changes between 2wd, AWD (Center diff open), 4 low (center diff locked) and 4 high (center diff locked). Just like how a fulltime 4x4 has the option for making selections between AWD (Center diff open), 4 low (center diff locked) and 4 high (center diff locked). So yeah the pajero has a fulltime 4x4 except it could also be switched to 2wd like any other part time 4x4.
Unlike fortuner which is a full time 4 wheel drive this pajero sport super select has options.. To begin with it drives in 2 WD always we have to shift ot to 4 WD , neutral, 4 high, 4 low... With diff lock...

@@jayvlogs9 yes there is a neutral mode in the 4wd lever when this mode is engaged no main gear will work.. I think it it is between 4 hlc then neutral and 4 llc
