I want to demonstrate that some car door panels could be duplicated OEM following certain hand crafting procedures.
The first important tip is to take advantage of vinyl material. The stretching only should be done in some areas letting the 'prone to loosen parts' lay flat. It means, they would never unstick because they were not forced.
The poliurethane heat activated glue gives us the chance to stretch and align the vinyl before glueing it down.
It is important to find the best glue product for the best adhesion. There are additional adhesion promoters and additives that help to optimize it. Factories use very powerful glues.
I hope you enjoy abd find some inspiration in this video!
