  • "SNAKE" IS A JEEP BADGE OF HONOR TRAIL. We cover the entire trail. It is one of the 4 Jeep Badge of Honor Trails located in the Hot Springs Off Road Park (ORV Park) in Arkansas. This video will show the entire trail (fast forwarding in sections). We will take you from Park Road 1 heading North East (Download Park Map). You will have to enter through F17 Lash's Loop. SNAKE (Trail number F19) is a 2 Diamond Rated trail but I believe the challenges are enough to rate it a 3 Diamond moderate trail. Remember conditions can change over time and with weather. Check in with the Park Store. You can fast forward to time stamp 4:01 starting at the trail head entrance. Explore this trail and earn another badge today!
Jeep Girl (Dianne) is driving the entire trail in a Jeep Gladiator. John (John's Jeep Garage) is spotting. The length of the Jeep Gladiator provides an additional challenge with tight turns. Stopping for video footage makes the trail drive longer but we make up for it by fast forwarding through many sections and stopping at key challenges. This trail is approximately 2.73 miles long with many turns back and forth including multiple incline and declines. The layout of the trail resembles the shape of a snake. This trail has an early exit (F6) leading back to Park Road 2. The full trail ends on Compass Canyon (2 Diamond) which you can take left down to Park Road 1 or turn right to Park Road 5 (1 Diamond) to visit multiple overlooks and a place called Flex Rocks for picture opportunities. near the start of the trail. We tried to inject some fun with our highlights and notes in the video. We end at the back at the Park Store to show where you "Air Up" but note when the trail ends on the video. We hope you enjoy it. This trail should take you about approximately 1 hour to navigate without traffic.
Trail ratings are a general rating for the average condition of the trail. Weather conditions, previous activity on the trail could alter the trail rating. For example - rain can have additional affect on surface tension and gripping. This could increase the trail rating as an example from a 3 diamond to a 4 or even higher. Please check in with the Park Store for any changes and current conditions.
We chose to air down the tires to a target of 11-12 PSI. We are not running bead-lockers. Weather conditions affect this as well. Temperatures can cause rising air pressure in the summer and drop at night in the winter. Airing down is captured in this video. Air Stations are located next to the Park Store to refill tires at the end of the day.
We recommend a vehicle with at least 33" Tires and some added clearance. A factory Jeep Wrangler would be able to navigate this trail but with an experienced driver. We drove this trail with a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon with a 3.5" lift, 38" Nitto Grappler Tires and 5:13 Gearing in the differentials without any issue. Check with the Park Store directly for their feedback on your vehicle.

I’ve done all the badge trail’s several times when we visit the park but for some reason Snake has always been my favorite. Thanks for sharing with us.

That is awesome! I truly like Snake and we have all 4 Badge trails on our channel. We did all four last October but my video files for Snake got corrupted, so we went back recently and I wanted to ensure I published it so I could have all four posted on UA-cam. I tried to do more with the camera angles this time then on the other three, but I think if there’s a way to use a drone, it would give a different perspective as well. I’m looking at sponsoring a trail on the west side. It’s a short climb up the side of one of the Hills that is rated a 3 diamond currently and is called J 26. One day you may find our channel sponsoring that trail. Thank you for sharing.

Outsatnding 4 part series of Hot Spring BOH trails. Love how informative the videos are, big plus for showing how to navigate to the actual BOH trails. Your Gladiator looks great, what lift are you running? New subscriber... It would be great if you put together some videos on Stony Lonesome BOH trails.

Glad you like them! Looks like we have a trip to plan (Stony Lonesome) and a mission to make some new trail videos. On this 2023 Gladiator Rubicon, we have a 3.5" Clayton Premium Lift, 5:13 Gears, 38x13.5 R17 Nitto Trail Grapplers. We don't have bead lockers on this one. We have 2 other 2016 Jeep JK and Jeep JKU as well which you can see from some of the videos on our channel. We just sold the 1998 TJ. If you want to follow us on "X" (Twitter) or Instagram, please do. We are more active on "X". Thank you for watching.
