green is such an underrated colour - luxe but subtle, cool but warm at the same time (it's not as cool as blues). it's really just a matter of finding the ones that work for you! I particularly love warm dark foresty green, olive tones, greenish-greys, and sage green.

As an artist I was taught that nature is the perfect artist. So in nature almost every color flower has a green stem and leaves. I use natures color pallett for everything.

My best color is a cool red. I wear every color of cool red from the palest blush pink to the deepest wine red and pair it with everything. One of my favorites is taupe with burgundy - love the series - great content!

@@thlp6872 Black, of course, but equally fresh is white - red is wonderful in the summer as an accent color. I also pair it with taupe, navy, gray (pink and gray is such a classic), and with rich earthy browns - Soft nude pinks look fabulous with oxblood leather, for instance. I love pink-red-wine so much I find ways to sneak it in to almost any outfit.
Yum .. taupe with burgundy is such a rich look.
Megan Markle wore a deep red silky blouse with a burgundy slim skirt. I'm looking for the perfect shade of red to replicate that look.🌹
Love green but it is an especially difficult color to find in retail and in sewable fabric. Most green I find is thrifted.
I agree, this year I dyed a few items I hadn't worn for a while. Same dye, came out different shades of green. But love them and getting to wear clothes that set in the wardrobe for a while...
I thrifted for green too.. green in the market here in my country (Indonesia) is too vibrant for my tan skin tone. But my secondhan findings are amazing!

I found this adorable minty green, denim-y dress this summer and I love it! Green is my new favorite color for my wardrobe. The dress reminds me of The Sound of Music or a Japanese grandma 🥰

That sounds great. First thing that comes to my mind is wearing it with white button up with rolled up sleeves, hair up, beautiful statement green earrings and maybe white pumps or ankle boots. If you add long green coat to it... Oh God! Perfection!

I love purple. It's also hard to find quality clothes in a rich purple that I love to wear with olive green. It suits my green eyes and the dark red hair color I now have. I'd love to see more purple.
Yes! I love purple. I find that I'm drawn to a cool purple, but warm purples are easier to find. I have blue eyes.
I’d love to see in future color videos a part about how to choose the type of color that will work best into your existing wardrobe. Like for green how to choose between olive, forest, sage, etc. Wonderful and informative video as always 💕
I just went online to look for Green pants and actually realised I have 2 pairs which I almost never wear, thank you for helping reinvent and recycle my wadrobe.

I love green coats, dressy coats I mean! Navy and green are so underrated and so warm, and great for every ocasión. I wore a navy uniform to school and I loved it, I dont get tired of it. Neutrals are important but only to mix with others!! Life is color!!
Burgundy is a great color - so many variations liven up a neutral wardrobe.

Thank you for always emphasizing the power of color. I just discovered that my seasonal color palette is most attuned to “Dark Autumn,” and I’ve come to confirm that dark hunter or emerald greens are “my” color. So excited to adopt more of this gorgeous hue into my wardrobe. For me, green represents nature and makes me feel calm and grounded. 🌲🪲🦚

Thank you for this color series! Green is my favorite color and it was helpful seeing more color combinations. I love Earth tones and would love to see a video on chocolate brown. I think it’s a great neutral that pairs so well with creamy white, camel and so many other colors.

Yes! I love a deep chocolate brown and forest green. Neither have been very around in the stores for many years now where I am. I've started sewing my own garments and even my local fabric store is weak in these colors. Online shopping for me is such a challenge because I really need to feel the fabric!
Yes chocolate brown was an important neutral for me back when it was in stores. I had to switch to charcoal gray.

Green is my favourite colour and a big part of my wardrobe. Love green X red/burgundy or green X blue combo with green/black/white combo you can't go wrong though 🌿😘 also to feel fancy green/gold I think is very beautiful! Keep it up!
good video for Green. It's fun to see what color combos work together with all your models/samples you have sprinkled throughout the video. I start digging in my closet. It's very helpful when you focus on "green" only for color combinations.
Thanks so much for your inspirational video. I always think of green as a restorative and contemplative colour. As a passionate gardener I find it restful to the eye, and walking in the woods which makes me breathe deeper. I have a warm skin tone with low contrast - tawny gold hair and green eyes, so the warmer greens are good for me. I particularly like your example using green beret and bag against neutrals - it's sophisticated and unexpected. Love this video.

I am a nature loving girl. Love how I feel when surrounded by greenery! 🙂🦚 However, other than one old dark green skirt, two colored jeans in sage & olive (paired usually with black, white or denim blue) & one dark teal blouse I added recently, I have always shied away from green on top because I too have the olive undertones.
Someone told me that I would look good in emerald green. I wasn't convinced but I do love all the other jewel tones on me.
Our kids high school colors were royal blue & kelly green so I did know that those looked good together. However, I always chose a black shirt with those colors in the printed logo to show my spirit. I wasnt brave enough to sport the green. Lol! You have inspired me.
I'm loving the floral dress on your pinterest board. I think I will be on the hunt now for one in the spring (my Irish hubby will love that!) & a emerald green winter coat next year. By the way, you didn't really mention brown. (Think trees.) There's just one outfit with brown boots on your board. Gray also may pair well with certain greens. What do you think?
For now, I may just tip my toes in the green waters with a scarf or handbag to try it out. Maybe a green sweater instead of the Christmas red I usually gravitate to for the holidays.
As I'm job hunting, I've recently added blazers in off white, black & navy so I'm looking forward to pairing green accessories with those. Maybe my new leopard prints shoes when I wear it with the camel items I've also added, but now am having second thoughts about!

GREEN!!! so happy that someone has finally highlighted my favorite color!!! my kitchen wallpaper is green and even my toilet is green, but the best thing ever is that my eyes are green!! a legacy passed down from my late grandmother!! I have many green pieces of clothing cause it makes my eyes pop. oh, and my signature eyeliner is Stylo yeux waterproof Chanel eyeliner in 938!! exact match with my eye color! Love the green colors. I have been lucky with green...I have been able to find a piece or two every year. I love all colors...pinks from pale pink to fuchsia. I love yellows...from pale yellow to mustard yellows. Burgundy and russet colors. All shades of brown from chocolate to deep walnuts. Of course...a dab of lilac and bushels of blues
I love teal. It is one of my favorites, but I struggle to find colors to wear with it, so I would love to see it featured. Also, I love green with burgundy- kind of a play off the green-red combination.
I also love this series. Unfortunately green is not one of my favourite colors as I cannot pull it off. However It does make me think of spring and warmer weather and I love that living in Northern Ontario Canada where are winters are long and cold.

I really agree with your last comments about finding specific colours only in 2nd hand stores. I now live in Canada but was born and raised in France where navy blue was and is a very popular color but I could not find a lot of clothes in navy blue in North America. I had trouble finding a colour to replace it. I had to settle for black which I love now but not really then: I used to say: In black I look like an old Italian widow!!! Any way I found lately some olive green pieces in 2nd hand store and I have adopted this color which I mostly combine with black or light blue. Really enjoy this serie but as my color palette is close to yours, it is usually covered with your regular videos!!!
I really love this series! Personally I have a very colorful wardrobe and I love them but sometimes it gets hard to combine one piece with the other, so videos like this really helps!

Green is my favorite color. I am a Spring color palette so lime green and other warm greens look great on me. My favorite combo is green and blue.
I just got last week a Portland Leather Classic Tote in the green color you are showing here. I never wear green but have been drawn to it lately. I also got a wallet in green to match. Their leather bags are top notch. The quality is better than I've seen in any Coach or higher end bag.

The color I would love you to mention is TEAL. I have found it to be one of THE most versatile colors ever. It works very well with the color palettes of all four seasons, with EVERY base color, and with most skin and hair tones. Similar to a PALE PINK, I have never seen TEAL not compliment anyone!
What a great color tutorial! Thank you for doing this one color at a time and providing such wonderful examples in the pictures. My favorite color is green, but it is often hard to find in my cool/summer color palette. There always seem to be a lot of sages or olives that wash me out. I have been happy to see a bit more of it this year. Could you do a lesson on pinks??

Great idea on the classic color combinations videos to have one star color and I absolutely love green. As future colors combinations I would love to see something around a deep purple red, I think it's called mulberry or wine or plum - not sure if this would fall into the burgundy family, a purple-ish burgundy maybe.
Green is my color! I wore a hunter green, full length dress to my daughter's wedding this past February and received so many compliments. Watching this video is making me think I may need to get a green handbag. I loved this so much!

Audrey - classic with a twist , refreshing and suited to all age groups - that is what I love about your fashion sense! I have a beautiful heavy silk scarf that I bought from Paris, France over two decades ago and those colours are green, blue and white! It’s one of my favourite colour combinations !

I simply love green! Always had , always will! I wore it since I was a kid back in Romania. Other kids used to tease me for it. I have lots of green pieces in my wardrobe, from blouses and tshirts to dresses and skirts and shorts, scarfs...lol you name it ...I have it! Oh, and lots of green shoes too!

I love green too and have collected quite a bit of vintage, green knitwear. My favourite is the green tonal combination, but all the ideas are lovely.
I got an olive green dress this summer and paired it with a powder blue pair of slingback flats. Love the combination.
A wonderful dark, forest-like green always looks superb with a camel-like color. And in winter there is evergreen which keeps green within the range of our colored vision until primavera breaks forth in spring. You showed some versatile and interesting examples of combinations.
