Torque on blade nut? Thanks
How do get the blades off
Funny stuff. "Can you come look at my mower it stopped digging"
We have an LA 175 and the steel they used to make the blades is probably the best steel on a mower I've ever seen and we have. They hold and edge really good and last forever. Surprised to see blades worn out after just 100 hours.
What size wrench do I use on the nuts?
I have an x304 John Deere with a mulch kit on it. I’m getting a strip of grass down the middle not getting cut. I’m curious is there a right and left blade? I removed mine and they are both stamped M140422 Right. I was wondering if one should stamped “Left”?
Hi
I put new jd blades on an x300 I use & it’s leaving a 3 inch gap in the middle of the cut.I set the blades nearest 90 degrees to each other as I could before tightening nuts
What say you please?
Does the x300 have differential lock ?
Are the blade bolts right hand thread?
I find decks without wheels scalp easily on hills even when set on a higher setting.
100 hrs per set of blades is great! On my D140, I'm getting about 30 hrs per set. Probably because of the sandy soil in our area that just eats a set of blades per season. I'd like to be getting 100 hrs but, not likely.
Changed a set and when blade is engaged mower shuts down. Got any ideas?
Thanks for this. 100 hours doesn't seem like much.
Are the nuts clockwise off or counter clock wise
Ccw
When you put the new blades on, doesn't the cup of the blade face the ground?
Wing up
I never understood why so many people cut so low they cut dirt half the time .
