Thank you for sharing your vulnerability and imperfections. As a mom of a wonderful 8 year old and beautiful 6 year old I over analyze my parenting because of being a first generation believer. You are so right, when we listen to God and correct from a heart that is humble to his direction it's more about him and less about my ability. it was a gentle but firm reminder that he's in control and my kids will still know God even if I mess up a lot. Thank you for encouraging my heart to keep living well and not give up.

I love your family dynamic's and your authenticity. I am Spanish living in the UK for long time and I love your Italian heritage showing through. I really enjoy and learn a lot watching this podcast. What I would say, and I am really not trying to be legalistic, for the sake of the body of Christ (which different people are at different levels in their walk with God) , is that Lucifer was created to worship God, after he fell, he uses secular music against humanity. Specially nowadays, we don't want to open spiritual doors, which the enemy can come through. We should listen and do what glorifies God only. We live in the world but we are not part of the world. It keeps us safe. I thought just to share this with you 💝💝💝. God bless you always 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Thank you so much for this podcast! When Lisa spoke about speaking blessings over your children, it really hit home. I have a bad habit of pointing out negative things to and about my kids, rather than lifting them up. I have learned so much from every episode so far! I am excited to have this resource to help me. I truly can not tell you enough what this means for me and how much it has already helped me with how I am raising my four kids. I am married to a great man, but he is not led by God and sometimes that causes friction and can feel lonely for me. With this podcast, I feel like I have a partner in trying to raise my kids God’s way and it has made a bigger impact than you can ever imagine! ❤❤❤

I'm 2 days old on this channel and liking it to the bone. Thanks to the Beveres for opening your house and letting us join you at the table. Listening to all your perfect imperfections is very humbling. Thanks for sharing your vulnerability with us. I love the idea of the tweet of the week.

Re-listening/watching this more than a year from the first time I've watched it... now as a first-time expectant mom, as I'm folding baby clothes! It hits even better and differently :') Thank you Bevere family for your wisdom and authenticity!!! Thank you Jesus for your amazing grace and power to use our brokenness to create beautiful generational legacies of faith and love!!!

Ummmm! - Brilliant and noteworthy statement, John.-@ 5:05, you said “ the longer you live, the more humble you should become “; humility is not weakness, it’s total dependence on God. I need to meditate on this for awhile.

Highly blessed by both part 1 and part 2. I am single and striving to live a life fully reliant and satisfied in my Lord, however I am longing for a husband and a family. The examples I have of those in my life are very rocky and i recognise how much work I will need to do not repeat my parents mistakes. So blessed to get the wonderfull examples. Encouraged to continue fully rellying on Jesus for everything❤ thanks guys!

I LOOOOVE Lisa's practical tip, declaring the words you want to see and partnering with God's words because He always watches over his words. That's so powerful. Now I want to go and search for all the words to declare over my kids!

Addison, THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart. After watching this episode, I texted a 'Godmother' I had 13 years ago, who helped me through a really terrible place. We spoke last night and have reconnected as though no time has passed. Thank you so much, bless you.

An overly strict Dad was my trauma growing up. I'll never forget getting spanked as an older child just because my Dad's temper blew, I didn't even know what I did, it was rare but that one time hurt me so deeply. I think men need to work on their anger issues more than anything. They need the self confidence to discipline well without anger.

I love this channel sooo much!!! Keep sharing!! I love how you highlighted how important conversation is between spouses when they’re NOT experiencing a crisis! Same with counseling- we don’t have to wait until sh** hits the fan- it’s not about that- it’s about having tools in your belt!!

Hello!!! Thank you for this new channel! I love the concept of family conversations around the table to make each one of us grow! I am part of a wonderful church with awesome leaders (Pastor Nuño and Natalie Pedro) but we don’t have an active "family ministry branch". So, as a mom of a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old, my husband and I are getting parenting wisdom by looking at our Pastors' family and other parents from church who are doing family well. We feel like we need more knowledge as to the daily issues we face with our young kids and as a family in general. This channel is a really good resource for us, thank you again for putting that out 🙏.
I love the Bevere family, Lisa Bevere is such an inspiration for me since I started to listen to her back in 2017. She is the mom I want to be 🥰🫶! By the way, John Bevere got to preached at least twice I think at my church (Charisma Christian Church, Paris France). We love you guys❤!!!!
I can so relate to the way Lisa instilled a spiritual atmosphere in the home with worship and by living her faith before her sons… I also do warfare right in the middle of the living room with my toddlers playing around 🤪😬😅. I tend to become a morning person lately as a working mom, waking up at 5am to spend time with God, when nobody needs me and before leaving home with the kids to go out for our day at 7.30…
My husband and I are really busy at church (worship team, youth ministry and cell group) and at work (lawyer and IT project manager). Fighting for keeping my daily fellowship with God, I go to bed right after putting our kids to sleep (round 9pm). We don't have much time left for our us as a couple… we usually get back home at 7.00-7.30pm on work day…
Question: how can we keep quality time as a couple with tight schedule and young kids who need us?
    Thank you

Your advice on listening to our spouse and giving a chance to restate is something I will start doing right away! I would ask that you don't over value the "tweak of the week" bit. Thank you for this beautiful conversation. I sure tried hard to do all the right things but goofed up sometimes, too. Seven kids (and two. Others, for a time). Sure needed to hear that I’m not the only one who looks at my adult children with so much love, but also sometimes with awkwardness, since I’ve learned more as time has gone on and have matured in 34 years. I’ve never had a candid conversation to such an extent as you have had here.

Thanks for the awesome episode and for doing this podcast! Can you dive deeper into why children are a gift from the Lord, versus what culture says? I just started dating a guy who wants to have kids, but I’ve been struggling with a lot of fear in that area. I don’t want to miss out on what God might have for me but it can be so hard to see things the way that they really are, ya know? Thanks, you guys are awesome!

when you were talking about discipline, are you only talk about spanking because I know disciplining your kids doesn’t have to be spanking. Nobody talks about this in the church.
