Thank you so much! I'll be using this for my son who will be turning 10 in a couple weeks! This felt very providential and timely ❤️ Would you also be willing to share which Bibles you have given your children from littles to teenagers? I so appreciate this podcast and your practical wisdom!
🎉thank you❤
Thank you for creating and sharing this. My first born girl is turning 10 this month.❤ Thank you Bevere Family you are precious ones.
I am from argentina. I don' write very well in english, but I hope explain me. I am so happy to find this video. I have a little baby girl 8 month, and I hope to rise her in the fear of the Lord. Thanks God that I find this amazin video. Thanks for shere it. grettings from argentina.
WOW. As a first-time expecting mom who didn't grow up in a Christ-centered family (and neither did my husband) but who has always DREAMED of raising a God-honoring family and building a generational legacy of faith, videos like this bless us more than you know. The transparency, honesty, respectful communication between parents + kids... plus your intentional practices of loving them and helping them know they are loved, rooted in their worth, identity, and God's truth... all of this is so priceless. And reading the free resource y'all provided (thank you for creating and sharing that!!) moves my heart - to hear that these beautiful letters have now become some of your kids' most prized treasures. Thank you Bevere family for giving so many of us inspiration + VISION for what is possible!!! 💗
Wow! We are in the same boat! Couldn’t have said it better! Blessings to you & your growing family! Praying for the rest of this pregnancy journey/delivery/ the shepherding afterwards!
@@erinfletcher1404 Aww thank you!! Amen 🙏💖 You and your family as well!!
Is anyone else crying!! 😭 like I’m crying for that mama because she’s trying to hold it together but I know as a mom she’s jumping for Jesus and weeping gratefully on the inside ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ God Bless this family
What a wonderfully Godly family. Your kids are such an inspiration. They are far more spiritually mature and honest than most Christian adults. They are truly great examples of children who are loved, proud of, and belonged to. You as parents have done a beautiful job of raising them up to be like Christ. You showed great respect by letting them say what they felt like saying and you patiently listened. it showed how proud you are of them and how much they are loved and cherished. Thank you for being an example of Christ's love. May all Christian families live out these truths, through Jesus Christ.
Wow. Your kids are so beautiful and gentle. Your son, in particular, is so wise for his age. What a credit they are to you.
I needed this....I come from dysfunction. As a child...later on in life I went downhill into drugs on the streets lost my kids ...i met Jesus cleaned up got into housing got my kids back go married to my youngest dad and had another one. Now I'm breaking cycles but it's very hard ans some days I feel like my heart has walls and im not doing it right and I don't know how because I never learned and I want different for my family and thus just made me cry...
I have gotten so much better but I want to go for all God has for me and my family...
Bless u guys...im bawling right now...help me to be vulnerable lord.
Hugggs ❤ Psalm 139
We as a parents would love a template for letter writing to your children on their birthdays.
Yall hold yall excitement well because I am over shouting with excitement and awe at how the kids are able and free to express themselves. This is amazing to see a glimpse of the intentionality of the work as parents that yall are putting into your children.
As a mom to five kiddos, I love how much you interact with your kids and allow them to share their thoughts, even if they might be rooted more in feelings at this point in time. As believers, we can only continue to point our children to Jesus and the truth of Scripture and trust the Holy Spirit's work in their lives. Thank you for God-honoring content.
I'm in awe of your family. I have never experienced anything like this. What a family you are!!!
My heart is literally exploding with so much joy and awe. I really needed this and will apply it in my life and with my children
This episode really touched me. I’m in awe of how you guys treat each other with respect, understanding, and kindness. Your kids are clearly loved, they are blessed to have you two as their parents!
This is a very important topic today. I believe that most Christians don’t know their identity in Christ and devil is attacking our identity from every angle, that’s why there’s so much confusion and identity crisis.
We as parents need to love our kids everyday, tell them that we love them, tell them that they are ours and that we’re proud of them. Our love should be unconditional, just like our Father’s love is for us.
Thank you for uploading this profound conversation! ❤ God bless you all!
Beautiful! Thank you so much!!
I know you are very proud of your kids. Seeing how they speak explaining their side of things and the way watch them, i can see how proud you are of them.
❤ Amen. Thank you for this conversation and beautiful prayer.
Wow! They need to hear they are loved everyday ❤
I would LOVE a resource showing a good framework for speaking life into my children one day in the form of birthday letters! Thank you, Bevere fam, for this podcast-- truly SO helpful!
It is linked above, but here ya go! :) messengerinternational.org/at-home-podcast-parent-kid-letter/
I love how you bring your teens to the table and discuss the Bible. I was raised in a time where children were seen and not heard. You are loved❤️
Nice to have a podcast that I can listen to with my teenager, that has teens his age sharing their POV from a believers perspective.
Really great getting to hear the kids share their perspective.
These kids are wise beyond their age! Walking right into grandparents and parents tracks!
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree - or should I say in this case- from the orchard!
That’s an awesome idea to write letters to your kids. Another idea I will put in my pocket
Beautiful family! 💫💥💖
This was such a blessing, great content, we parents need to hear more of this as no one prepared us to be parents. The insight that the kids brought is fantastic and so needed as we need to understand their point of view and their struggles. So blessed by this episode.
God bless you.
Your kids are really to be proud of, they are precious ❤
I love how you communicate with your children, just beautiful ❤️😍
Man, I’m so impressed with the maturity and profound nature of these kids. I’m inspired to do all of these things with my kids. Thank you so much for sharing all of this. The kids sharing what the words personally did for them really touched my heart and helped me see where I can rise up as a mother. Thank you.
I am entranced by the episodes with your children. They are precious, and so are you both. My favorite Bevere podcasts are with Addison and Julie alone and with your whole family. Thank you for loving your children so well.
This episode was amazing. Your show blesses me so much constantly.
Thank you, this is great revelation that I so needed today for my family. Thank you
Messaging from Hertfordshire UK. I'm so very grateful to learn from this video. Most of what you shared I don't know and it inspired me to learn and want to share this in upbringing my children.
Thank you very much for everything 🙏🌺🌺
This is my favorite video from you guys that speak volume to me. Would like more of these please. 🙏🌺
Soooo good!!!!!
Well done fir what ya'll have intentionally sowed into your beautiful children. Also, your kids have amazing insights and share them so well. I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Thank you
To see you interact and discuss with your kids is precious. So much so I am compelled to watch it with our oldest two children to spark discussion with them but also as a model and inspiration for us as a family, in so many ways e.g how you speak to one another, how you take following Jesus and the Bible so seriously and yet your children are still young.
It makes me wonder whether you could film a ‘family resource’ and have you and your kids lead us through ‘something’ - faith questions; Bible study - and us follow along as a family. Just a thought from a pastors family in the U.K. Thank you so much!
Watching this is having me work through an entire bag of emotions 🥹🥹🥹 the respect, the maturity, the depth, the safety, the validation.. all things I never had.❤
Wow, it is so refreshing to see a healthy family where kids are respected and loved. Thanks you guys! Really enjoyed this. ❤
I love these episodes with your children! So inspiring and encouraging as a new mama
Thank you ❤
Thank you so much for this message. My daughter is about to turn 10yr and this is the best gift I can give her.
I would love it if you included the scripture reference of God the Father giving these 3 affirmations to Jesus the Son. You listed John 12 only. I always enjoy going to the scriptures after listening to a podcast/video so I can read them myself and study on it.
Wow What a wisdom the boy has!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO! It’s so important for us parents to have an idea of how our kids think. See this conversation at the table blessed me so much! Thank you again! God bless all of the Beveres 🙏❤️
Yes🎉I would love for this to be something you offer! I struggle finding the right words and wasn't raised with affirmations spoke over me so I have little frame of reference! Thank you😢😅❤
Yes! Please, form a template for us parents.
Good morning, people of GOD, Thank you. This is simply amazing!! and breathtakingly inspiring. Parenting is no joke. May GOD continually give you guys wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. May GOD bless you all. ❤
Addison!!! You just dropped a gem 💎. I didn’t know “my God, my God..” is referencing Psalm 22. 🤯 💥
This was so good.. yall are doing a great job pouring into your kids. You can hear the wisdom flowing out of them! I have a 4,6,8, and10 year old kids. This is definitely 🔥. You can feel the peace and presence of God...
Thank you for sharing the framework of the letter. Thank you for saying YES to God. May lives and families you are impacting. May God keep increasing you in every way 🙏🏽

SO GOOD!!
Wow… I have three boys ages 12, 8 and 7. This is really giving me amazing insight. Praise God for this family. Thank you
Oh my goodness, these kids are so precious. I LOVE THEM! God bless you!
"looking for validation in his brother's rejection"... i know this part wasn't even the point of this episode, but wow, this is so profound!!!!
YES!!! PLEASE create a template! My husband is still early in his firm walk with the Lord, and pretty busy with his work. It would mean so much to not just us, but our children, and even their next generations to come(not to be dramatic🤣), but we’re first gen, raising our children alongside the Lord!

I would love a template of the letters! I am the first to raise children in a Christ-centered home. These conversations are so helpful and amazing to learn! My oldest is turning 10 next year!

Wow! Thank you so much for sharing, love how your children are able to articulate the importance of hearing this. I am a teacher, and I am going to pray about how to use these for my students this upcoming year.
Great question there Sofia!
Yes I'd love a template of the letter please!
Thank you for your prayer, Asher!! ❤🔥🫶
Such a beautiful episode, loved seeing your children share their perspective and thoughts. May God continue to bless your ministry.❤
I always thought of writing letters to my future husband since i will make not within the time i usually planned but i actually forgot about my kids. In fact i also want a letter before they even born. Just when they come and become growth they actually understand how much they were wanting and the joy in the process of expecting them.
And
Yes I would like to have a template or at least some questions that would be useful to answer as we write the letter. Like point that are critical to their age as building a character.
Thank you! Great ideas.

Very good, thank you from New Zealand
Wow!!! Will definitely be more intentional about speaking these truths over my children and husband!
What do you turn to in moments of doubt? If you have kids, what do they turn to?
You guys knocked it out the ballpark again! Thank you for sharing and with your bright kids. Can you please share the scriptures where these three contexts are mentioned?
Wow. You all are amazing!
What a beautiful conversation between parents and their kids 🥲 thoroughly enjoyed this, especially hearing your children weigh in with their honest thoughts and opinions. Another great episode ❤
We would love a template for a letter!
Thank you for taking the time to do this & allowing us to glean from your wisdom/insight as you teach us what God has revealed to you!
It's in the description :)
Asher is a dynamo! Very insightful and articulate young man.
I love this so much..made me tear ..😢love you guys take care .
Even when you discipline you still talk to your kids about it before and after. So that they still sense your love, just how God does for us. 🥰💜
I like to ask my 5yr old.... Are you going to Listen and Obey OR Listen and be disobedient?
She responds. But if I need to discipline with "sad spoon" not my hand.... I don't do it as a reaction and grab anything around. I let her know what she did, and that her choice has consequences and then tell her what she getting. Like 3 pops or whatever.
And then we hug and talk more about the next choices she should make, while I remind her how much I love her. 💜
I am single and I have lots of married friends in 6 different countries. I stayed in their houses many times and saw how they educate their kids. In the US kids are educated by Hollywood values. Sometimes your kids are not, but they will have contact with kids that are and will be influenced by them. I saw a statistic showing that 66% of kids that grown in church with Christian parents, leave the faith when they go to college. Churches and parents are not doing a good job preparing them for the challenge. The truth is that kids don't need to hear anything, they need to see it. Many parents give a terrible testimony to their kids. Many churches are not a safe place anymore. Imagine a hospital, everything is sterile, but it takes only one person to spread a virus. You take care of your kids, but you never know what the other kids are watching or doing and influencing your kids.
Love it yes
Love this ❤
So good!
Wonderful
I’d love to learn more about your framework for the letter! This was so insightful and helpful. I have two littles that are 2 and 1 but already try to say this over them!

Ok. First, let me say that I love listening to you and learning from your wisdom. It helps me in many areas. But there was one part of this episode that really hit me and I have a question about it. When your daughter talked about being raised by spanking and then you said: If you don't discipline your child, you hate them. So would you translate disciplining as "beating children"? Personally, I was beaten a lot and it broke me inside. I would even say that what I experienced was spiritual abuse. But you say that beating means disciplining and is good for the child? Do I understand that correctly?
Really good question! Thank you. I am sorry for what you went through as a child. ♥️
Absolutely not. Spanking a child can absolutely be done without anger and without any kind of abuse. It’s not child abuse to spank a child’s bottom. You can spank a child without “beating them”.
When a person does discipline in anger, when their emotions are not in a good place, or In spontaneity (usually fits of rage), it can become abuse and beating.
That is not Godly discipline, that’s abuse.
I'm so sorry that happened to you! 🥺
Yet,
Discipline is Not Punishment.
Beating is not the same as Correction.
When their Dad also said there's a Wrong way to Discipline, that's what he meant too.
Even when you discipline you still talk to your kids about it before and after. So that they still sense your love, just how God does for us. 🥰💜
I like to ask my 5yr old.... Are you going to Listen and Obey or Listen and be disobedient?
