I really don't think I've ever seen an orchestra perform with this amount of joy! They know they are part of an historic performance of this great music! Grosvenor is a true champion of this concerto.

I had the enjoyment of watching his recent performance live on UA-cam from Warsaw! Fabulous temperament, technique, passion and musical control in the Chopin 3rd Sonata and Ravel Gaspard. Hope to one day perform the Liszt work myself with orchestra! That double third run was 🔥 , and to follow the pedal marking of Liszt just after... Wow!!!
