- Hi Singers. Here is the video with my tutorial about old Italian Songs and Arias. I use a version for a low and a medium voice. These songs are great for improving your singing technique. Today I present one of my favorites and the first one I was singing- Caro mio ben. It is a really beautiful piece, and it is still in the concert repertoire of the world's most famous singers. I hope that my videos will be helpful in your singing journey.

This was the first song that my voice teacher taught me. I never knew it would be so difficult to sing. It was a challenging song. I never like it then, but I love and appreciate the song now. Even this video confirm that this song is a challenge. Thank you so much for this video. People must understand that singing and music takes a lot of blood, sweat and tears. Meaning that it is hard work.
Wonderful lesson, i have start to sing with this song
❤
Amen
One of my firsts, coming back to it. Just went back to musical theater and ready to start a more serious voice study.
Sang this piece doing a college recital, it's so memorable... love it!!!
VERY HELPFUL!!!
Thank you for making this clip. It helps me a lot in practise singing this song. And I hope you will make more clips of this kind in the future.
Thank you so much for teaching the singing techniques and the pronunciations . God Bless

@Pablo Quintero M thank you 🙂
Thanks Meero for assisting me with my 1st full vocal recital😂 Now we go back to simplicity to master memorization.😅
You did a good job singing this!😂
Phenomenal Teaching Techniques 😂
My vocal coach wants me to learn this… she is out of her mind! I can barely sing happy birthday
She is right, just do it! 🙂
Text with rhythm is my favourite part
@Lisa Lee I am so glad you appreciate it... 🥁🎵🙃
Thank you for the coaching and instructions. Probably the best recording of this Aria are Pavarotti of course and young tenor Anthony Leon with an amazing rendition here in his UA-cam channel. Enjoy it
Yes, thank you, very beautiful and touching singing by Anthony Leon. I have many favourite recordings of this aria. At the top as always Luciano Pavarotti and Dmitri Hvorostovsky with a lower voice. Greetings! 🙂
Yes!! I love them both!! Luciano the best and Dmitry my favor Baritone but don’t remember hearing him sing it. Thank you for replying and continue sharing the love of singing!!!
I have to sing this for my sole in highschool
Good luck!! 🤞
What key is he singing it i?
@myrnasolganick3826 He is singing it in C-major. It is for the lower voice🙂
Bro looks like Morrissey.
Yeah... we are all one big singing family 😉
It kind of is hard
Perhaps start with Miro's Vaccai videos, perhaps Avezzo

Don't listen him, listen how sing Caruso, Gigli and Tito Gobbi they're good singers, not him, not bel canto.Sorry, if I get offended you, but your techique...
@shattered_soul - listen to Caruso, Gigli and Tito Gobbi. Please do not listen to me. Your time is precious. Use it wisely. Don't waste it watching my videos. Find a good teacher and good luck with your singing.
@@miroslawgrabski Thanks, you too! You have a beautiful voice and good intentions to teach people, and that's fine. However, maybe your teacher isn't good. Please try to listen to more bel canto singers and try to rediscover or find something new in old singers like Gigli, Caruso, young tenor with a good technique, Kang Wang, not Caruso but not bad). I'm sorry if I was aggressive, but it's very sad when opera is lost in your eyes and ears. I'm studying in the bel canto style, but I'm too young, and I don’t know a lot of things. However, I can hear a little bit.
Perhaps restrain until one is older 🤔

I disagree, any time is a good time to begin one’s singing journey. In fact, the earlier the better. Just like how you performed this piece for your FIRST voice recital!!! CONGRATS!
I agree with the original comment, in that it is a good idea to listen to singers such as Caruso or Gigli, because their sound is unaffected and is truly their voice. What I hear when this teacher sings is an overly dark and covered woofy sound, that sounds nothing like his speaking voice. It is this intentional/unintentional change that most modern opera singers create on their voice that affects the sound and ease of singing.
I would encourage singers of ANY level of experience or style, to strive to find their voice that feels natural in all parts of their range.
