Did you hear what he said? IF...you do regular maintenance, most of these issue will not happen. I have had two of these [still have one] since 2012...did regular maint, no issues at al with either one
Thanks great video as always I have no codes however the cold idle is a little rough and it will stall if left idling while hot. I get an extremely rare misfire code on cylinder 4 if it's been not driving for a while. The stall if left idling leads me to think it's the ionic unit after watching one of the doctors videos. Would be curious to see if you agree. Cheers
My S85 has been solid for 4 years due to preventative maintenance. The Smg has given me some problems and I’ve had to throw down some cash for that, but the car is worth it. Bought my car with 92k on it and I’m at 118k now
Hello, i im in deep deep trouble, my m5 e60 has a misfire on limpmod engine lgiht , checked it and it shows cylender 10 changed the bad coil , and didn't work ! Machaninc tells me there is oil on the tip of the spark plug and it is preventing from firing up
There is a company in Florida that clones dme. I've sent 3 over the yrs there. I can't remeber name but can find it out again if needed for you. Cloned my dme twice on my x5 e70 (burnt chip for fan control) and have the e60 also. Can't remeber what that one was. Been 6 yrs and not problem since. But know it wasn't water damage
Nathan, really like your content. Listening to you over the years one thing jumps out in bmw maintainence and that is regular oil changes. I don't know of any bmw owner who does 5k miles routine full synthetic oil changes primarily because the idiot bmw dealers are telling them 10k oil change interval. Do you think this is one of the biggest reason around premature engine failures in bmws

Cold idle is normal the computer reduces fuel for fast temperature (it sounds like a diesel engine ) the iconic unit # bmw 1362 7834 713-0412V
