- In this video I’m making a huge wooden bowl and using the table saw to make most of it. This is an easy project that anyone can do using tools most woodworkers would have. A table saw and a band saw is the primary tools needed in this project. As far as the jig attachment used on the table saw , it’s extremely easy to make.
Thanks for watching and I hope you consider subscribing
This is an extremely easy project anyone can make. If your using screws to temporarily act as clamps be careful and make sure there not to long, luckily this was a prototype.
Thanks you for watching
Very cool idea and the end project was great. It's amazing how versatile are tools can be like the table saw if we use our imagination and ingenuity. Thanks for sharing this great idea and project.
Thanks a lot. The spoon gave me inspiration to try this
You need to share this with the builders of the craft group
I need to slow down enough to do it. Lol. I’m neck deep in spoons and bowls for a craft show. Hopefully they do well
@@Jordanwoodworking Oh I know the feeling lol. I got slammed with Christmas orders. I haven't even had time to record.
Yea, it’s from one extreme to another.
I would never give 3700 for that bowl.
Exactly and I would never sell it to you for that
Take off a few zeros. No offense to the maker. Great idea, but simple idea.
What would be the method of making a wider bowl? What size blade? Would you have to move the jig to make multiple passes? How far? Which way?
I currently use a 7.5 blade but I have used a 10” blade to make a wider bowl and you would widen the jig to accommodate the blank. No matter the size bowl you always center the blank to the blade. The process of cutting it out is the same
Good job. I just saw the video. Have you tried to to round off or make a wave pattern on the risers to round off the ends better. Just a thought.
Ive have made adjustments but not settled on it yet
" easy bowl anyone can make "
Proceeds to use elaborate saw machine in first 10 seconds
That elaborate saw machine is a miter saw. You can make it with just 4 inexpensive tools like I’m doing
Have you tried rounding off the risers or a wave pattern to round of the ends of the bowl? Good gob.
Yes
That is so cool what you have been doing with your table saw to make objects like a bowl! The bowl looks so good. If I had not watched how you made it, I would never believe it was done with a table saw!!
Thanks a lot Richard. You can also make crown similar to this
Bro $3700 lol it’s a pine bowl. $35
