The slabs start off quite soft but I then leave them to dry to leatherhard before using them.

I really enjoy throwing slabs, it’s a very zen-like activity..thought about trying to find a slab roller, but you’re right, the shape is almost always wrong. Thanks for showing your method

I would describe the slabs as being damp enough to be flexible but stiff enough to hold their own weight when stood up.
