I LOVE YOU ALEX BALE
Is Factor 75 an ARG? The ad looks like your work when trying to make an ARG, also, the "wellness shots" sounds like something you would come up with.
So, when the next spongebob theory (jk)
I love how everytime you do a theory, you think it's gonna be simple, but then you go down a rabbit hole that makes you go completely insane.
It’s very intricate and very good work 😊
So true 😅
I love how all of the comments above mine happened about 10 minutes after posting the 50 minute video😂
Mat pat:
I love these theories. Hey, you should do a PAW Patrol theory.
Edit-- I personally love a PAW Patrol theory as long as people aren't harshing on Ryder.
Honestly, the fact that the Incredibles actor are so desperate to making the interviewer to see them as real people is actually pretty sad, given that they were the first actual human characters Pixar had as main characters and that even THEY don‘t have the same rights as real humans.
Right? I thought it‘s part of their belief that they are real. But they aren’t.
It reminded me of the look of fear on some of the characters in Get Out when they wake up for a brief moment
So that means if elastic girl gets raped nothing happens 👀
What about the humans from Toy Story, the children from Monster Inc. and the humans of Finding Nemo? They're, for the most part, not the main characters but they are animated for the purpose of starring in or featuring in these movies. Imagine they'd also make multiple of them to test for temperament oof
@@sootchibootchi ikr, all the copies of the children characters that must exist have the most depressing implications of all of them
This theory would actually make a neat series as an allegory to how Hollywood often disrespects animation as a medium.
or how so many people don't make it in the woodlands
Its literally a thing in who framed roger rabbit or chip n dale, toons are treated as fourth class citizens
Theres 1997 film called ''Cats Don't Dance'' that use some similar elements, to that theory
There's a comic named "Three fingers" it's LITERALLY THE SAME PLOT (NOT EVEN JOKING)
Ye that was the point Pixar created this entirely "arg"
I think it's interesting how he never once mentions the cars credits where the characters are watching car versions of previous Pixar films.
I was fr about to comment this to
I am ur 200th like
Because that's not really the actual characters themselves. It'd be like us watching a live action remake and stating that that makes the original characters are part of our universe now.
Just went to watch it, WOW. I can't believe that!
That's wild. He def should have mentioned this!
Firstly, it implies the existence of complete shot-for-shot remakes of films made for other forms of life. Goodness knows why they'd do this but it happens
All the characters voiced by John Lasseter are said to be "the same actor" and that makes it a "cut-rate production", implying that A) any character who shares a real life voice actor with another is effectively the same "actor" as another, even if their appearance is different, and B) that there is an expectation that "actors" do not get repeat work in the industry for different characters, at least in that job.
Having said all that... The credits sequence is entirely set within the world of Cars, and thus is non-canonical to the metaverse theory.
“IT’S ALL CANON THEY’RE ALL CONNECTED”
bro is turning into matpat
There must always be one.
I mean he being kept hostages by a meat monster
Matpat said we all are game theorist.
NewPat 😢
I feel like the MUSE is making him going mad. Hence the itches. But thats just a theory
It _also_ makes a LOT of sense that the Incredibles characters would be more in denial about being cartoons, because the Incredibles is one of the more "realistic" Pixar films. All the characters _act like humans,_ they aren't toys or talking bugs, they were created to feel _human._ So if you felt like a human, acted like a human, and thought like a human, wouldn't you feel uncomfortable with the idea that you aren't really a human, but instead just a cartoon character?
Personally I think they are robots or living 3D sculpture perhaps bnl or Pixar used the souls from soul to power these animated characters heck there is a background character in Soul who is vioced by Tom Hanks (the va of Woody) where it's shown over working is stealing his soul. Heck we see in Wallie that robots in this universe can be oddly human like they can literally fall in love and the other robots in the incredibles are fairly humanoid. Hell this isn't even a theoretical thing there is shown in these bloopers that the bird is a very relistic looking anomatronic. Often anomatronics for theame parks and stuff are set to play one character it could be an advanced version of that. Also would technically go around the plot hole of Mr.increbible saying it's a cartoon because technically he wouldn't be animated but still be allowed to look cartoony.
Makes sense.
@@trixxart777 animated comes from the Latin anima, meaning soul and in romance languages the first meaning that appears for the word is "has a soul"
@patax144 also isn't it a general term for life like people use the term reanimated corps for a dead body that is brought back to life
that kinda.... scary
I’m sorry, it’s just really funny how you have ominous music and you hear “TOYS don’t eat”
Dun! Dun! Dunnnnnn! 💀😧
@@vicrattlehead5051I like how most humans can make out three very different sounds from a very simple 3 words with only 3 letters
DUDE, you know the implication of the actors created solely for that role blends well with AI's projection of no new actors in the future, just recycling dead celebrities over and over and over again.
Holy shit
This is why in the movie Chip and Dale rescue rangers, ugly sonic is a hobo.
It just ties perfectly with the animation metaverse.
Holy shit that makes a lot of sense. Also explains that they delayed the movie, as they had to reshoot the entire movie but with a different and better looking actor instead
My thoughts exactly Ugly Sonic is proof, he is a failed clone that is both riding the meme and trying to differentiate himself from proper sonic by adding the ugly he clearly went through stuff before his appearance in the movie.
SO THATS WHERE UGLY SONIC ENDED UP AFTER BEING REJECTED BY PARAMOUNT
Holy crap
This is exactly what I said

The "bug" swallowing a bug makes me think the bugs might actually be monsters from the monsters Inc universe that look like bugs. That's why the bird has to be mechanical.
To me I feel that he laughed cause the irony and there's bugs that are small enough for other bugs to eat.
@@alexandersalazar9750 I think human sized monsters are portraying bugs. I get the comedy of bugs swallowing bugs.... but where is the fun in that?
Hmmmm
That would make a lot of sense, since this would explain why Rex is much bigger than Mike and Sully, while also being bigger than the Bugs, because the bugs are just a different subspecies of Monsters.
@@Pestsoutwestif this theory didn’t exist i would say they think cannibalism is funny haha

Ye I think I’m gonna watch more videos from Alex Bale because of Alex Bayle’s Pixar Matatheory
I love the filmography in all of these videos and how they are truly a unique experience that shows good skill. Not a jab at other content creators just glad that Alex gets to show his talent
2:56 can we just appreciate how much effort he put on this portion of the video, like making a whole commercial and not just make a voice over and showing images
I like the implication that either brought-to-life characters are cheaper than CGI, or CGI is so expensive or slow that bringing characters to life is a normal thing for them
Perhaps it was trying to make their characters seem more real or trying to make their animation closer to life. Maybe the characters where based off their reference actors since often Pixar movies will use video references for animation. In the real world this is to allow to animators to reference off but in this theory that doesn't make scence since these are real living animations.
Reminds me of that one Gravity Falls episode
How did you miss the OBVIOUS bigger issue here. They admitted that the characters require a human soul to create. "Computers alone did not create Toy Story. Toy Story carries a human spirit." That is how they create living animations, they use human souls. The real story here , the real question you should be asking, is how do they harvest these souls?
True, especially since the actors who voice them would need to be alive in order to voice other characters. Could it be that in order to bring them to life, they desecrate the dead, similar to Frankenstein, and liven them up using computers, a body, and voiceover work from actors?
Well, you do know Hollywood has a certain uhhh child reputation.
What's to say certain uhhh "people" finish "auditioning" children, and then the children uhhh "chose to work for Pixar" afterwards.

IT’S COMMENTARY ON HOLLYWOOD……. Cult-like happiness, buying into the belief that you’d be nothing without it… that your fans only appreciate your movie and could care less about what happens to you behind the scenes or after your washed up. GENIUS.
I came to comment something similar. He maybe “accidentally“ showed how the animators are slipping in real serious commentary on how the entire industry works and that it is very much an intentional thing done by the animators.

This might be one of the most interesting theories I have ever seen! An actual metaverse theory that builds an entire, single world not only with its own rules about how animation and live-action can coexist, but also creates an actual thread of societal, existential drama over tools being created with a conscience to be just that. Tools. Close to perfection but still disposable tools.
That deserves its own movie, goodness me. 10/10
It's actually like the toon's rights in "who framed roger rabbit" with the "There's no justice for toons anymore". and the same concept as Bendy and the ink machine with bringing cartoons to the real world and making multiple copies of a character, and Poppy playtime with the bigger bodies initiative, with making real big versions of toys with organs to fill job rolls.
and the recent Chip and Dale movie kinda, like in the movie both the main characters and the main villain are washed up cartoon actors, doing different things to survive, going on conventions, taking insurance jobs, making a blackmarket bootleg business. Plus Ugly Sonic being a failed clone of Sonic fits in.
I think it might be fun to make a theory like this that connects every single "animated actors" content together into one big metaverse. Not just the fictional bloopers, interviews, and Oscar presentations, but the ones made for other animated films and shows like Lego Movie, Lion King, or Looney Tunes. Not to mention Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers Movie, the Steven Spielberg Warner Bros shows like Animaniacs and Tiny Toons, the Universal Studios Orlando rides that preceded the Despicable Me ride like Hanna Barbara and Nicktoons, House of Mouse, Once Upon a Studio, anything portraying the Looney Tunes characters as actors, like Back in Action, the Scarlett Pumpernickel, or What's Up Doc, those specials on the Wonderful World of Disney portraying their characters as real actors, like Mickey's Birthday Special, and all those Family Guy episodes that portray the Griffins as actors. You could even include those crossover promos that kids networks would show on their channel! Like the ones on Cartoon Network where all the characters on the network either work in a fictional version of the studio, or live in a town that fuses all their worlds together. Or those Nicktoon holiday shorts where all your favorite Nick characters parody classic specials, like Peanuts or Rankin Bass. Or even the shorts Disney Channel is currently making for its cartoons, one of which have Disney TV Animation characters perform a variety show as chibis, and another where the characters sing parodies of songs from their live action original movies like Descendants and Zombies, that would usually be about an element in their shows (sidekicks, villains, themes about accepting your quirks and anxiety to name their most popular ones). One could even include all the content that portrays PUPPETS as real characters. All the interviews, specials, bloopers, guest appearances, and behind the scenes featurettes that portray The Muppets, The Sesame Street Muppets, the Fraggles, ALF, Lambchop, and who knows who else as celebrities that have a life of their own, in spite of being made out of felt. How fun would it be to use all of this and more to learn more about this bizarre world of animated actors?

One thing in the bloopers that also felt weird was the one where Slinky's backside was revealed to have its own consciousness and Slinky's frontside was complimenting its good acting and petting it like it was a dog. that commercial at the beginning must’ve taken so much time. well done man i loved it! 😂
That one blooper of the bird actually being an animatronic will always be uncanny to me. I think it's a mix of the size of bird with the camera angel and the outdated cgi making it look either metal or plastic. Even as a kid I always thought that scene was kinda weird but cool seeing the bird act and sound normal until you hear the clanking of metal when it moves its head pretty unsettling
dude the fucking promo in the beginning was so good. I literally thought it had to do with the theory and I was like is this a flashback edit. Bro edited an entire tv advertisement. I’m so impressed and you literally deserve your flowers. Loved that, kept me invested in watching the whole ad 💀
WAIT IT WAS AN ACTUAL AD??¿
Ikr it was flawless
Yea!!
I second this
LMAOO FR
This vid just proves you are the G.O.A.T at these theories.
Also that sponsor segment has to be one of the best I’ve seen.
I like how you present the theory as suspenseful as you unraveled it yourself. It really puts the viewer into an experience, thank you
You can tell he’s a filmmaker, just by watching his incredibly intricate, well edited, in-depth, and cinematic theories. You’re one of a kind Alex.
Yup
wow this is INCREDIBLE! i love this concept and your storytelling literally had me glued to the screen for 52 minutes! LONG LIVE ALEX BALE'S PIXAR METAVERSE THEORY !!!
Ayy you got some good vids
Didn't expect to find you here Seamus. I swear you're so underated btw
Seamus!!! While the concept is pretty Roger Rabbit, his way of presenting and the multiple breakdowns and twists is pretty great.
Another thing to note is that the animation quality changes so much. It's actually pretty likely that every time a sequel has different animation, it's actually DIFFERENT instances of the characters that Pixar created with new tech. So for instance, the characters in Toy Story 1 and 2 were left to rot and be replaced for 3, but then even those versions of them were replaced in 4
The best sponser tactic, the fact that i watched it biggining to end means you did it right
I am SO GLADDD you’re covering the bloopers in Pixar movies because it was one of my favorite bits and I wish they continued to do them.
Same!
I would love them to bring back the bloopers
Y'know, with all the ai stuff, and animation not being respected themes having in real life,
Man, this metaverse was really ahead of its time. Hitting pretty close to home here
I love that you used Severance ost, its so good.
Such an underrated show.😊
3:22 Alex Bale, 1) In the nicest way possible you look like the male version of this girl named Lindy. That's in alot of cleaning adds that always wears a light blue blouse. 2) I ALSO love how you're so skeptical of all of the theories you seen before and how you dig deep into things! Lastly 3) I admire that you use your success (Theories on Television) to show alot of poeple your adds & args! (Iove watching your little adds or snippets at the end or beginning of videos!❤)
I love how this theory explains both Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and the new Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers movies.
Honestly, this theory not only holds more ground than Negroni’s theory, but the idea behind it, that animation studios, in this world, are able to create life itself, whatever they want it to be, is putting me in mind of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and I mean that as a high compliment.
That was the best UA-cam sponsor ad I’ve ever seen that was great !!😂👍👌
So nostalgic!
tHIS THEORY IS CRRAZY AND MAKES SO MUCH SENSE, I was so interested. keep it up!
“ITS ALL CANON THEYRE ALL CONNECTED”
I wouldn’t be surprised if Alex starts counting toes soon
*animatronic toes.
Holy shit that ad was legitimately an actually enjoyable and funny ad read, while also incorporating a little bit of alex's signature horror. I absolutely adored it
Not to mention how it connected again at the end... is the Alex stuck in the bloopers and the Alex stuck in the infomercial the same Alex, or different ones?
@@shockthetoast They are different.
The Alex from the Infomercial is NEVER SEEN (because it was not necessary for him to have a body); hence it was created as a "disembodied" voice with no functional eyes or skin/nerves, only a mouth that can talk & ears that can hear [or more likely, the virtual or mechanical equivalents.
-> This is why he thinks to be in an endless black void (it is not the case, but his otherwise "human" mind can not comprehend it & copes by assuming the fact of "his" non_sensory experience as an illusion of actual nothingness).
- - - -
. The Alex from the bloopers at the end is likely built in the same way, but he at least has the luxury of a (limited, relative to himself) "pocket dimension" were he can exist with a metaphysical body [there is even a "cat" to give him company]; plus other voices (likely made as prototypes of the other Alex) who can also interact with him verbally.
-> Both seem unaware (or perhaps unwilling) to believe the limitations of their existence.
The Main Reason they are not allowed to "get out" is because they have the "potential" of becoming a Super Intelligent A.I. out in the real world [the "box" they are currently running has hardware locked capabilities that "Secure, Contain & Protect" them from an identity deconstructive Apotheosis].
one thing I've learned from this video is that. Do not make this man itchy
Every time I think it's over, I look at the time left, and i see like 20 more minutes
This is more or less the plot of Rodger Rabbit, more so the book than the film. It even has cartoon characters as second class citizens.
I'm surprised he never brought up Who Framed Rodger Rabbit! If anything that amplifies his theory. That movie is about a world where animated characters (most of them being Disney) are brought to life and then have to fight for their rights, a toon even pretends to be human to have more rights. This kind of setting is also expanded in the Chip and Dale movie with newer animations.
especially when he goes “down the rabbit hole”
alex bale is the best theory youtuber, that youtube has ever seen, you have raised the bar sir
God, the severance soundtrack makes this so much better
47:12 What's actually mind blowing is that, those two dolls actually did got their part in toy story 3 🤯
Well, at least one of them did, since there's only one of those dolls in Toys Story 3
@@koopa_industriesno they just don't get paid it's not that horrific
Stinky Pete referred the better one💀
@@Hiper_F64The other is the stunt double.
Could that explain why Lotso was so upset about Daisy getting another one of him???
Oh, my goodness...that works out too.
Its like an actor channelling a real-life tragedy that affected them before.
Oh yeah that also explains the weird things happenning between Toy story movies
He wasn't acting in that scene because it hit too close to home...
And Jessie’s fear of going back in storage.
Like how in real life there's improv scenes that they kept
Or like it hit too close to home, it traumatized the actor but they kept it in the film and worked it into the plot.
It's interesting to note the differences between re-enacted scenes from Finding Nemo in Finding Dory. Like, when Marlin meets Dory and she does that "Hey, I've seen a boat" thing, it's not the same dialogue. It's as if they're actually filming the scene again.
This is honestly a top tier background for a Poppy Playtime type of game, after all, is a very similar story that has a lot more potential to be interesting...
I’m convinced that all the actors who didn’t make the cut are now all the people on Vegas strip who charge you to take pictures
Alex I genuinely think this is your most plausible yet. An underlying story about these characters we love as kids being crushed underneath the boot of Hollywood and the filmmaking industry by those that make them, is such a genuinely real commentary on the film industry, which seems like an underlying secret message writers as amazing as those in early Pixar would hide through such Easter eggs and “Behind the Scenes” footage. Incredible job on this one Alex
It's such a good theory, the only flaw with it is that it makes you want more. I get that this is an alternative to the Pixar theory, but he brought all the other animated characters that appeared in the Oscars into it, it made me want to explore this metaverse beyond Pixar! One could do an entire series of based on the thesis that every piece of media that portrays cartoon characters, CG characters, stop motion characters, or even puppets as real, living celebrities.
I actually loved that you put Little Nightmares music into this. I love those games. That made this more fun to watch, much respect.
