A great vid in supporting the local model shops .We are lucky in the surrounding area as we have a number of proper model shops and all need supporting .Use them or lose them

With reference to what Pauline inferred about modern livery would equally be used on steam locos (if steam was still a thing), Dan's Model Railways UA-cam channel did a service on a Hornby Dublo 'Sir Nigel Gresley' class A4 that had been repainted in Intercity livery.
What a great entertaining video again at a lovely shop, hope to visit it once while I'm over. And the parade of loco's, the locomotion nr1😍 was under my Christmas tree this year, of course as an era1 fan this was a must have in the collection. And I'm glad I pre orerend it, as almost all have been sold by now, unbelievable success. Although some people are a bit disappointed by it's performance as only 50% of the wheels take on power, and the DCC sound fans are also not so happy as Hornby doesn't have a fitting sound chip. But that being sad It top end tooling and a marvel to look at. The American Pennsylvania that's an icon, but I rather like the maroon version of it, although I'm not collecting American stuff, I often came into temptation to buy one, but one should have boundaries 😖 But what really is noticeable is the standarts producers work with these days, if you look at the deltic (which I prefer in green version), and all the other new releases, they are so detailed and realistic models that I think that design wise we've come at the top level. The only innovation will be electronic gadgets, like Märklin produces now, where the train driver switches cockpit each time you change the loco direction, of course it comes with a price and I do ask myself for how long will these gadgets be working. But it's great to hear from the shop owners that your videos make a true difference for them, and lets face it, what's more fun is there than spend a few hours at such a lovely shop and the knowledge you get for people who are more than 50 years in the trade. Great video👍… Cheers, Danny
Not been for years as it's not a part of the world I work near currently, but the last time I went in it was so crammed with stock you literally had to walk sideways like a crab. Whilst I was there a customer was hilariously chastised by the chap behind the counter when he asked if they had any second hand stock "second hand, SECOND HAND. I'll have you know that our items are pre-owned". 🤣
This is my fave shop, I was in the other day and bought the orange Class 20 shown at ua-cam.com/video/cIyCkSov-BU/v-deo.html Great video thanks for sharing

Ha ha they do have a sense of humour there! It's still crammed and you need a couple of days to have a full rummage. Thanks for watching Rick
do you have any die-cast models of the new yellow buses or trams that operate accross Greater Manchester?
Best bet is to enquire via the shops website. All the best Rick
