PLEASE NOTE: The guitarist is not quite in time. Please excuse. He knows it and regrets it deeply. It was the first time he performed with a big orchestra and he was nervous. Thank you for your patience. But this should not degrade the overall performance which was stunning.
The second piece, called "Dream is colapsing" is a real masterpiece, because it's not only beautiful musically speaking, but it also plays with the theme of the movie in a very clever way. Music starts at 3:24 with just the bass. Now take a look at the violins at 4:00. Look the movement, how many notes per second do they play. Keep that in mind. Now listen to the wind metal section at 4:11. Do the same, listen the tempo. It keeps going the same until 4:45. At that moment...Listen to the instruments: they all play now in a diferent tempo! You are not awake anymore. Now you are dreaming. As it's said in the movie, time goes slower at every level of dreaming. It's perfect, just like playing a vinil disc at lower revolutions. Sublime masterpiece, Hans Zimmer.
Everyone really needs to stop being so damn hard on the guitarist. He's also an artist. He didn't make the mistakes intentionally. If it was his first time, he probably learnt a lot from this performance and will be better off from it in the future!
to everyone who didn't read the description the guitarist was p much fucking nervous. give the guy a break. it was his first performance. i know that feeling of messing up.
And why do I have to consider his feelings? He is a grown ass man. No one forced him to play in front of huge audiences and I doubt he goes on stage unknowing of the fact that a mistake could be posterized on youtube forever. I've blown some performances. Ive never been off time XD but I have hit some wrong notes or flubbed up a solo. People critique performances get over it.
Maybe if I had no knowledge of musicality. I can't not hear when someone is off time. I zero in on it immediately. This hit home particularly because I am a guitarist who went to an art school with a professor who HATED guitar players. His joke was "How do you get guitar players to stop playing? Put sheet music in front of them." N i watch this and just think... he totally would cringe at this performance lol.

First saw him in 2011 at the 11th World Soundtrack Awards in Ghent, performing a suite from Inception, with the specially designed "vibro sound wall" in place. Was awestruck and flabbergasted sitting on the edge of my seat. Been to the World Tour concert in Brussels in 2016, and again this year in Antwerp Sportpaleis -- have to say if I would have known the seating location in Antwerp I'd have booked tickets earlier, as the experience of the Inception finale was disturbed by the load overhead air vents in the rear corridor that interfered with the solo piano ending :( But it's something I am grateful for to have seen in my life. And I could watch the orchestra and hear it over and over and over. It's just that spellbinding to a musical ear.

You don't think they were all nervous? At that level you shouldn't be playing like that. Considering its not a particularly rapid or complex guitar part it should not be that hard. just look at your conductor
Yeah thats totally inexcusable. The guitar in this song is sooooooo easy its just the same pattern over and over and he was sooo off lol. Hope he gave up music xD
