It would be great if more teen girls would find this channel; but at the same time, it's depressing at how many moms and grand moms are failing at their job of teaching girls that their worth is not in cheap attention, but found in a relationship with God and having self-respect & respect for others.

I wear long nails, not cardi b long. Lol I used to be a nurse so hand washing is so important to me. I keep a clean nail brush and antibacterial soap at all times at every sink I use. I do my own nails so I don’t ever have to wait too long in between maintenance. I put a new set on every 2 weeks or less. It’s a preference to wear them long. And I don’t even care who don’t like it. It makes me so happy. I’m a retired Navy Veteran and wore short nails for years. I’m free now. Lmao😂Doing my nails keeps my ptsd/depression at bay ❤

I think this largely depends on culture. I also wear my nails semi-long and get compliments all the time by elegant people, men and women. Many respectable ladies and classy celebrities also wear long nails because it’s considered fashionable. I think it all comes down to tasteful designs and flattering colors. On the contrary, when I wear short nails nobody comments on it. In my culture very short nails can look juvenile like what teens would wear so they can sneakily go to school. It’s not the most attractive look for a young woman. I don’t think elegance is a one size fits all and most content I see online mostly cover western idea of elegance.

THANK YOU - I love to see content creators cut through the "don't judge me" nonsense. Anna Bey, The Feminine Fancy, Olivia B, Freddy My Love, and Woman of Elegance all understand that how you present yourself to the world matters, it brings you more respect and opportunities. If you want to be taken seriously at school, at work (be it just a part-time job or in your full-time profession), or on the dating scene, then you need to dress the part. All of these tips make sense and every woman can apply them in her everyday life.

I already went through my phase of graphic t-shirts, hoodies, leggings, and skinny jeans and realize I didn’t put any effort into my wardrobe and simply followed the trend. Elegance doesn’t mean that you have to look dull. It simply means to tone down a bit and be well groomed. Some of these things are common sense and some you speak are not unacceptable. I wear any length nails I want! However they are not loud colors or designs, usually a neutral or one color on every nail. I’ve always kept my nails VERY clean, I use a brush underneath EVERY TIME I wash my hands! I love quiet luxury and monochromatic outfits, but I LOVE a pop of color! Also, I have 2 tattoos one can be seen and one can’t. Both are tasteful. So I just think elegance can be interpreted and expressed many ways. Good video

Yes indeed - many of these women leave the house wearing nothing but underwear. You see them in Walmart, the airport ….. I mean EVERYWHERE .
      Has society lost its mind.?
And it seems the bigger and more overweight - the more they want to put on display. It’s just gross, extremely unattractive and disgusting.
Who wants to look at 4 layers of body fat hanging from your stomach and around your sides like stacked tires.???
These people must consume food cows 🐄 and Bisons 🦬, because this is what many women are looking like today and don’t give a damn about leaving the house looking sloppy and unkept.
Decency is for certain not important and elegance is obviously not important as well or a goal.

My admiration and respect for your videos emphasizing elegance!
It saddens me that it's rare among us.
My mother aways emphasized to invest in a coat, purse, shoes, and a wallet. She would say, "Although we may be poor we don't need to be lazy and look sloppy." "We can stand out, admired and respected for our good faith efforts!"
Men are to also invest in a coat, shoes, belt, and wallet.
Never ever wear clothes that look like they were taken out of the hamper!
Women to always wear a dress to church, a wedding, a baptism, a graduation, a quinceanera (sweet sixteen) and, always wear dark solid colors to a funeral.
Men to wear a suit and tie to all these occasions! We are at these events for the person being honored or celebrated and looking presentable is being respectful!
    May elegance and grace win!
    Much love! ❤

This is just my advice , actually its my ritual on Sunday. I take some time out every Sunday to pull together all my work outfits for the week. I pick out the hand bags, accessories, shoes..everything. I iron or steam things that needs attention. It makes my life so much easier. Additionally I have a "uniform" for at home which is some black pants and a long black tunic. It all takes so much stress out of my life.

I’m soooo glad you spoke on tattoos. I have so many and at the age of 31 I regret them all. I just want my own natural clean skin at this point. I’ve transitioned to a natural self and the tattoos are the only thing I’m stuck with. I’ve pierced my tongue, nose, lip and breasts…they have all been removed overtime. Still not sure why I did it. But thanks for this video. It’s going to be a huge help for me at this stage of life.

In my opinion, inking tattoos on my body would be analogous to me placing bumper stickers on my luxury model cars. You would never see a bumper sticker on a Porsche. Admittedly, I've seen some beautiful tattoos which I considered to be works of art. However, I'd rather own that inspired artwork on canvas, as a drawing or in sculpture form. Honestly, I like to change my appearance often, so I would easily tire of seeing the same artwork on my body everyday for the rest of my life. Well, to each her own.

I’m an artist. I think it really comes down to your career and lifestyle. I love oversized clothing and form-fitting, it depends on the occasion, how I’m feeling, and time of year. Fashion is never one size fits all. And no matter the length of your nails, good hygiene should be important to everyone. I’ve seen people with very short and filthy nails, and people with long and gorgeous nails. How to care for your clothing is universal too, but it really comes down to one’s personal comfort and wearing whatever makes you feel confident. I could never wear plain, uniform clothing every day. I enjoy variety and experimentation far too much, but there are still universally useful tips here even if your personal aesthetic is wildly different than what’s described here.

Elegance is a woman's superpower. It takes a really tuned in, confident woman to radiate as 100% female, especially in a stressful world. Your look can also reveal how you tick on a deep level. Too much of anything might suggest that you've psychological issues or that you're struggling with confidence and self love and respect. There's generosity in presenting elegance. You're basically telling people to treat you with respect and that you respect them enough to make an effort to look 'peak class' in their company.

Some of your “advice”’is factual such as proper undergarments and having properly heeled, soled, we’ll maintained foot ware . However, much of what you said (hair color, nail length, jewelry, for example) are truly personal held by YOU. Elegance is more about the way a lady carries her self and presents than it is most of the examples you gave. Elegance and grace are traits that are learned early on and taught by action. A person (male or female) could follow all of your opinions on attire and if they do not carry themselves in a certain manner they still would not be elegant, classy, or graceful. I can have on jeans, sneakers, a graphic top, and pink and green nails and be the epitome of elegance based on how I carry myself.
