    Rules Corrections
    1. 30:00 Unstable encounter reward 2 tenacity no matter outcome.
    2. 1:21:30 Fatigue Movement has a cap of your base movement stat (base = weather altered movement)
    3. Not a goof just clarification Enchantments once used are persistent they are no longer counted as an active item and move to the thing being enchanted (which is awesome)
    4. Companions begin each battle at full health (SCAMPS!!!!!!! noooooo) I would have also had the ability to fulfill the quest
    5. 54:05 Skeever pup should have only rolled 2 (SCAMPS!!!!!!! noooooo)
    6. 1:00:15 I mention daze cuts damage in half I misspoke that is maim.
    7. 1:15:14 armor is used when I am engaged by an enemy
    8. Failed lock picking attempt should discard the cache and cycle the card.
    9. clarification all speech dice can be used for social checks....it is stated on the back of the skill sheet.

      That is good there is going to be a bunch of stuff you will get to see way before others. I am going to pause publishing broadly and wait until delivery. In the meantime members will have access.

    Another enjoyable video. Learning a lot. For whatever reason my chat wasn’t updating as I was watching so, sorry for repeating what others had already said. Enjoying seeing your decision points. Should make the game very re-playable. One of the drawbacks, I feel, of TMB is the need to build my Gearlocs out the same way every time to be optimal. This feels like many paths to an effective character.

      hey no worries, the more comments the better...the wheels are starting to turn on a TMB comparison and I think that is a draw back but also gave the gearlocs a distinct personality. This allowed for very unique mechanics like Polaris and the orbs for example. I am up in the air at this point. This certainly is the build a gearloc that many asked for after build a tyrant. I can see mistakes being made in builds that will eventually lose your campaign for you. Its is harder to experiment in this format because the time needed to do so is prohibitive to getting a bunch of builds tested. It has the allure of an RPG video game with the rules overhead constraints of a CTG game. I don't think this is bad it is just a next level commitment over TMB. This makes sense for the 225 price tag. For someone that wants to play new game all the time this is not the game...It is a lifestyle game for sure. Which for CTG/TMB megafans is an exciting prospect. I am wondering how many Elder Scrolls video game crossovers will have the patience for this...not sure.

    Yeah, I was a bit imprecise in my previous comment. You start the game with 2 party XP and 0 "personal" XP (may be treated as you've spent that XP to train your 2 starting skill dice). Rules do not specify (directly) 0 "personal" XP, instead they say that you place your XP and tenacity pegs in the leftmost position (Place Pegs, p.19).
    For Speech and social checks - as far as I remember, each (most?) skill dice in the Speech skill reference explicitly say you can use them during social checks to add rolled number to the check result. Or it's the skill line description itself.
    As for other rules stuff -
    Active enchantments does not count towards inventory limit (they are just placed near/under the entity they enchant).
    Companions start each battle at their max HP unless something specified that their HP persists between battles (like Necromancer's ability) (Companions, p.90). So it looks like Scamps should start each battle with 3 HP (as the quest only overrides their max HP stat, but does not say that current HP persists)
    Cache chip is discarded if you fail the lockpicking check (and the item card is cycled to the bottom of the deck) (Cache Chips, p. 68)
    Yes, you can Move-Engage-Engage (or even Engage-Move-Engage). Engage action is only limited by using the second Move action.
    At 54:30, shouldn't Skeever pup roll a single die?
    At 1:00:20, Daze does not cut the damage (Maim does so)
    At 1:15:14, Armor items are used when you are engaged by the enemy (not during your own turn)
    Yes, you count Defence once per engage, not per each die
    BTW, these skill types symbols are constellations - Warrior (red), Mage (blue), Thief (yellow)
    Seeing player board during battle would be awesome IMO. Just to know the current state of CD, available dice, etc.

      Thanks for all this I have pinned corrections after confirming with the rule book, speech is still up in the air I need to get out to my office and check the speech skill line again. I did not see any reference to social checks on them.

      Yeah I used to do all this in an edit with TMB but now have a program I can set a ton of different views I just need to dial it in a bit.

    Well played! I think items being more impactful here is a big positive.
    I understand enchantments as being used once then being active until discarded/end of Session. Not sure whether they count as active items after activation.
    Regarding Speech skills-social check, maybe the speech skill reference mentiones how that works.
    I would slightly prefer seeing your Player mat over the dice tray.
    I noticed:
    At ~30min you forgot to take 2 Tenacity for an unstable encounter (I think this rule is not very elegant, easy to forget)
    In the last overland movement you move 1+3 by taking fatigue. You can only move extra by taking fatigue up to your movement stat, so in that case only 1+1 would be allowed.
    I love that you seem to enjoy the character building as thats what I am looking forward to the lost.

      so the wording on the overland movement is tricky it doesn't say movement stat it says "base" movement so the question is if in black marsh your base movement is always 3 and weather alters this base or is base always the weather altered movement? I asked notebooklm and the rulebook does not define "base"...I will ask Shannon

    PDFs of the skill lines sheets are not available yet. CTG is trying to allow some discovery when we get our copy. If I recall, at the top of the skill sheet for Speech it says how to use them for social checks. 19:58

    Adding comments as I watch. If you fail a lock pick attempt the cache chip is still removed 52:15 Thematically I don’t know where it went though 😂
