You people serious? Take a course from Brian and you'll understand how ,UCS emphasis is placed on firearm safety and muzzle control. Watch the video to the end desk top operators, it's a blue training gun!
Cool attitude but I think even if that gun is a dummy gun (no trigger), shouldnt the instructor have muscle memory to ALWAYS point the gun away from people? You know, that should be second nature with all firearms, loaded unloaded plastic or real steel
They are sitting on a round table. Theres is a person literally in every direction except for up in the sky but he knows it’s a FAKE gun that cannot and will not go off so he points the gun and shows in a way everybody at the table can see what’s going on.
This instructor should probably go learn proper muzzle control because that gun was all over the place. He pointed the muzzle at the guy in the blue hat more than once. Thanks but no thanks.

I looked up this video because when I took the shooters course for my Texas LTC the instructor a former police officer said he seen this happen twice during his 40yr career. He said that the pistol was sitting on a desk in the police station and went off by itself.
How can I handle a gun like that. If it´s a dummy gun it should be clearly be recognizable for everyone as such. If it is not recognizable as dummy I treat it like a loaded live weapon. I wouldn´t want to sit at this table with those guys.
Hey man great video! Do you happen to have a video or source that can explain, and convince me the internal mechanics of a pistol, and that pulling the trigger must occur in order for the pistol to go off? I am new to carrying, and I carry appendix style, however I do not have a cartridge in the chamber as I am worried of the gun going off by itself. Thanks in advance!
Don't worry man. as long as your pistol is drop safe(newer guns are otherwise they will recall them) and that trigger is guarded and nothing can pull that trigger back while you're walking it will never go off until you pull the trigger. I'm 33 and I've been carrying a loaded/chambered firearm since I was 16 the one and only time I had a negligent discharge was from human error.
As long as you carry with a proper holster that covers the trigger you are good. I carry appendix too and always with one in the chamber and safety off. My gun has a safety but I don’t use it.
In most striker fire guns, the trigger when pulled brings down the sear which allows the striker to fire the weapon, however there is fire pin blocker that must also be pushed to even allow the fire pin to move forward, these actions will all have to happen simultaneously for the weapon to fire, which cannot happen unless the trigger is pulled, if I missed a step or am completely wrong please let me know lol
When there is a dud round, bullet, cartridge whatever you want to call it. You pull the trigger and it goes click not bang, you wonder whats going on and then a few seconds later the round actually goes bang. It does happen.a problem with the primer.
Compare a striker fired gun to a well trained listening guard dog, it wont attack until u tell him to (wont fire until the tigger is pulled) especially hammer fired guns it’s definitely impossible. ITS IMPOSSIBLE
