I thought metal was getting lame until I found these guys and a handful of others. Love groove metal
Dude was put on earth to play guitar.
So good. You guys were the reason I finally got a 7 string.
Hey me too
Sittn here looking at a 7 string but damn its expence
BIG gojira vibes on these riffs. Awesome work fellas.
Yea sounds like Vacuity mixed with Backbone
Gojira with Rivers of Nihil
A more oldschool person would say Meshuggah vibes :)
@@mathias6423 yeaaah nah bro, this is far from djent
@@nikoraasu6929 I do not agree with you "bro", I think the song is closer to a djenty sound than far from it. Also other reaction channels seems to agree with that. Since Djent was not what Meshuggahs genre was called before djent was a thing and Meshuggah still is first and foremost called Technical Death metal and groove metal. Also Meshuggah is famous for playing a lot of "tripplets" which is heavily used in this song.
This galloping/triplets moment.... the ALL song too of course! Love FFAA!
"noooooo but but but they are two 16th and 8th notes" 🤡🤡
@@ArmandHindrichs good to know, btw you got a cool channel, I'm also deep into automobiles and engineering
@@ArmandHindrichs so cool dude! I'm right now in BSME 4th year. And been playing guitar for 6 years now
Triplets are 3 evenly spaced notes that fill the space of 2 regular notes. The phrase, "bucket o' fish" is a good way to become familiar with the rhythm of triplets.
Bucket o' fish. Bucket o' fish. Bucket o' bucket o' bucket o' fish.
Kinda like at 1:39
@Armand Hindrichs bucket o' fish= 1-trip-let-2-
The "fish" is a whole note, it's the start of the next bar. That's why I put the "bucket o' bucket o' bucket o' fish" which would be counted "one-trip-let-2-trip-let-3-triplet-4-".
It's all really hard to explain in writing, a lot easier to hear and understand.
I love all the intracies and demention in this jam
This song is what made me want to learn tremolo picking and good clean fast gallops. I mean, nearly the entire song is just back and forth between sick gallops to all out tremolo picking and it NEVER gets old! This song alone should be shown in classes teaching the technique 😂
Hell yeah, bout time I got to see a playthrough for this song!
One of my best song ever!
FFAA fucking rules!!!
First time hearing this song. Musical genius. Amazing
How the fuck can you not headbang when that stomp best comes in. I’m actually obsessed with this song right now
Flawless playing my man. And a couple beautiful guitars as well.
Hell yea! Hopefully we get some bass and drum playthroughs as well
You guys are on fire.
New album is incredible.
Such a coincidence! Working on covering this song right now with Pat's guitar
Amazing
this song is so fun to play
@@vinnyalbright9839 It really is, a lot of variations!
Brutal guitar tone. You got that Ibanez smoking. Nice work.
That chorus reminds me of Immortal's Mountains of Might so much. 🤘
One of my favorite songs of all time. Just incredible.
Love the riffs in this song!
Enjoying this must be a sin. Incredibly good!
I almost prefer this playthrough, or let's say 'instrumental version', over the original one, wich is outstanding, but...
duuuude...
THIS version is something special!
Many thanks for sharing this with us!
🙏🖤
Such a great arrangement, A+ galloping
How long I’ve waited for this Playtrough to come
i got maaaaajor Gojira vibes on this one the first time i heard it

Nice! i was expecting this after Pat did his. Hope the whole band does them..

Disgustingly sick riffs 🔥
perfection
Thanks for posting. Great, efficient technique.
You best,love your songs
fucking badass songwriting!! good to see something with this song finally!!
So sick. How the music pairs with the lyrics and how the entire song in general just sounds like doom - epic. Also love the lyrics. Such great story telling on so many songs. Nailed it, guys. Keep it up.👌🏽🤘🏽
Great skillzzzz, props
That Ibanez is so awesome looking
this shit is heavy and melodic as all hell
this is still my favourite song released this year, absolute masterpiece
i seriously cant wait to see you OCT 2nd!!!!!
Sick
brutal song, brutal metal, brutal liryc lml
This is probably one of the most beautiful deathcore albums i have ever listened yo
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Awesome tone and great picking is essential. Great work bro.
💯💯🔥🔥🔥
Fit for an autopsy has always had some of the CLEANEST guitar tones out of any metal band I have ever fucking heard. I would love to get lessons from them one day on how to get the perfect tone and some of the tones and techniques they use. Sometimes I can't even believe what I'm hearing during their breakdowns! These guys really really know their instruments and it shows!
This track always divides me by zero :D
Makes it look easy
This song blew me away the first time I heard it. Gives me Gojira vibes for sure.
Tiiiiim let’s go dude
been learning this song. its so fun and beast
It's fun but is killing my arm
Look at that right hand🥶🥶
So clean. Great playing brother
Nice
hope to see 'the man that I was not' as well
I fucking love that track! Such a perfect closer to an incredible album!
Wow...
Reminds of the triplet riff from Fear Tomorrow which I also like very much
Awesome. Thanks, Tim.
The riffage is insane
That slide though
Excelente viejo!
Saludos desde la patagonia Argentina
Vamoooo viejaaaa
that lead is so juicy
This is going to played at my funeral and there better be a pit🤘
😲🔥🔥🔥🦆
Oh FUCK Yeah!
Bring on the pit at the Brisbane show!!!
hello, first of all, the guitar video without vocals is very nice, we are waiting for the same instrumental guitar videos for the remaining songs of the album.
Miss you Tim. Come back to Twitch!
this song is so fucking good
один из лучших треков которые слышал за весь 2022 год
the triplets are so insane
This song is amazing
3:05 dafaq was that homie! \m/
Oh my lord Jesus Christ yes
this shit is blisteringly quick on the guitar my right hand is suffering
fantastic playthrough as always. are you playing this in Standard with a low G?
3:12 idk if im dumb deaf or what but that swipe with the pick never figure it out how they do that. amazing work all the song.
They're basically doing a pickscrape but instead of going down the neck they go in the direction of the bridge
@@titou9670 yes i know that. But when i was listen to in studio i don't realize they played it in that way.
doccc my eye.
I have the same guitar..I put EMG 57-66 in it though
Reverse headstock Prestige gang! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Greetings from the guy of minority who don't like reversed headstocks!
My favorite track from the new album
Brutal and chill at the same time
Does anyone know the tuning of it?
pretty sure it’s drop G
It’s standard with a drop G
@@IamTimHowley oh damn that's quite an unusual tuning, have you ever done that with other ffaa songs?
@@lallomes yes on wither from absolute hope absolute hell and black mamoth off of the great colipase
@@IamTimHowley what other songs of FFAA’s are in this tuning? As a music transcriber, I want to cover all my bases. I’ll also probably have to make many adjustments to my tabs on Ultimate-Guitar and Songsterr, seeing as I assumed that Fit only did Drop A and Drop G these days.
🤘👍💣😎💪⚠️
Well, hello there. My dude, you’ve not enough strings!
I need YOU to need MORE (strings).
Very well done cover-gtr-play. Thanks for sharing with us all!
I’m trying to do this now on my “white bitch”… aka an old white fender acoustic/ the last guitar my dad played before he passed at a measly 54yrs old. He taught me early how to play and tune by ear. Now I’m 42.
Anyway I won’t give my a/s/l ((hahahaha ha har))but kinda want to go back to when ‘that’ was cool.
Take care and thanks again
one of the best songs of this year. And the best deathcore album since Until I Feel Nothing by Carnifex
These guys, also Carnifex AND Whitechapel are my deathcore heroes. They're so much more tasteful and groovy than, for example, Lorna Shore, wich I kinda like sometimes, too
@@SuidAkrA1 couldn't agree more! those are my favorites also
This is drop g ? I have a Ibanez uppercut prestige 7. I play in drop g but they make it look so tight. I wonder if they use the drop tune pedals.
GEADGBE for this one, the low B is dropped 2 whole steps. Tim posted it on his Instagram story during an AMA.
