Good morning, after making the code and generating it, my treadmill will go into privileged mode, yes? that means that google, google play and ifit will be installed there? because I'm afraid that it will break the machine😢I would be grateful for an answer. Best regards

New R35 recumbent bike... instructions worked great! Big thanks. Question: if I start Netflix playing and then try to swap to iFit, the Netflix playback seems to pause. I've seen other vids where it continues to play in the background. Have I done something wrong?
What are your thoughts on first downloading an update blocker before the rest of the steps? I am able to stay in privileged mode but most of the apps don’t work including Hulu Disney and Amazon prime. I can use Netflix and Chrome but cannot use the previous apps on chrome or as a standalone app. I might do another hard reset and install the update blocker before the other steps in this video and see if I can keep them working. Thank you so much for this information! I was able to download the Peloton app and actually use it by using your other video steps BUT I couldn’t update my resistance while on my Proform Pro bike. Is there a fix?

Did you have any issues with peleton app? Everything else is working but a lot of the peleton videos give me an error. I do pay for the subscription as well since it’s much cheaper than if it.
This method to reach privilege mode worked for me 1/3/2023 on my NordicTrack EXP14i with the latest App Version 2.6.81.4158 Admin Version 2.1.1.1227 Thanks for posting this. The other method I had used previously was not working for me any longer where you set a PIN for the lock screen immediately after a factory reset.
May be a stupid question but how do you stay in privlidge mode and also be able to turn your machine belt on?

Luckily, I found out about Nordictrack locking users out of administrator (privilege) mode within my 30-day trial basis. I called them today for a code to enable Netflix and they refused to provide one (I just found out about the secret code generator but decided to return bike instead). I told them to come pick up the machine. It's costing me freight + 10% of machine cost so that's the price of my lesson. Thing is, I wanted and would have continued to pay iFit subscription regardless but having viewing options like Netflix, Amazon Prime or UA-cam adds variety and they are denying us such. So once refund is processed, I'll look for alternatives.
so you're bragging that you paid nordictrack their profit margin and then allowed them to resell the machine for more profit... you sure showed them bro

@@Tubezilla Hi! I couldn't find a bike that had it all so instead I went for a Marcy multigym. It occupies about the same floor space and has far more training options. My philosophy is that if a manufacturer locks me out for some equipment I bought and outright own, I'm not buying it. Good luck with your program and wishing you much success!

Hi love the video. I have a 2450. The screen was locked on the white start up screen ,so I did a reset. Now it is stuck in easing displayed on screen. I have reset it several times and it gets stuck, black screen with a circle and says erasing.
Just got our new 2450 working but was having issues with UA-cam and Hulu any work arounds?

Floating apps if it's a must, maybe try a different app download for that?

I have an older elliptical with an older, smaller tablet. My biggest complaint is when I bought the device it included quite a few workouts. It states on the machine it has 35 workouts. Over the years they reduced the "free" workouts. I find it insane I have to pay 40 bucks a month to watch old exercise videos they had to film once. It's twice what Netflix costs.
I'd like to find a method to load some of those exercises back.

Hi, this was a great vid. I was wondering, if you knew of a way to make a custom workout or route, that would automatically change the incline and resistance. it’s seems that ifit doesn’t allow for this now. I have a NordicTrack elliptical btw got it in 2020.

Hello just got one i think you probably already figured it out but just hold down on the app and a little window will show up right above it and just click on open new window and click the size you want to open it
This worked like a charm! However Hulu will not allow me to login it keeps saying my password is wrong even after I double checked it. Also UA-cam app keeps crashing every time I open it. Anyone else have these problems?
Does instilling any of these apps ultimately cause any performance issues (i.e. sluggish display and rendering) with iFit or the operating system?

Just bought a used Nordic track 2950 commercial treadmill from a friend who previously owned it, he told me the screen display was black and not visible but the touchpad sill worked. As soon as I got home I noticed that the screen display is actually still visible but it’s really hard to see anything(as if the brightness was all the way down). I tried to put the brightness all the way up on the ifit settings but nothing will happen, do you have any idea what could be wrong with the screen? I can scroll up and down on the screen the only problem is the brightness

I found out that the cable for the video signal inside the screen was loose.
I took the screen apart, and fixed the cable, and boom problem fixed😊
How did you add that little popup menu on the bottom corner with all apps on it? Is that a separate app or part of android?

I am getting good at making the software changes as I have done it a few times now - I just keep playing with it and loosing privileged mode - but my fault. I was not able to find the \SDCARD directory - as I don't have an SD card on this machine - but I'll keep looking for it. YES... do not upgrade once working as you mention. I am happy with my setup now; have ICONS on the home screen for CNN, FOX News, MSNBC, NBC and many others, and a nice window of 8 websites I visit from time to time; also added the clock widget and weather. I'd be interested how the .wolfDev prevents the privileged mode from being overwritten, and HOW IN THE WORLD did you discover that? rhetorical question. Anyway, thanks for the info. The wolfdev exploit was discovered by another viewer of the channel. When I asked him how he figured it out he said he had a dump of the software that he was looking through the code and kept finding a check for that wolfdev file.
It was pretty clear what it would do based on how the code was written
The machine has reference to an SD card even if you don't have one installed. If you don't have the directory you can create it on the root of the storage and then create the wolfdev file and it will work

Two things: First, every time I click on "ES file manager" the screen turns sideways. I have to turn the machine off and then on to get it back. Secondly there is no folder on the file manager that says "/sdcard". There is DCIM, Download, Alarms, Android, backup, era, movies, music, my favorite, notifications, pictures, podcasts, ringtones and update. Where is that folder?

I can't get into root mode. It tells me that it is not rooted. 😞 I need to find some other approach. After I restarted iFit I could find no way to get back out of iFit and back to the Android screen.
I've tried a few different file managers, but I can't locate the "sdcard" file. I read through the comments, and noticed I could simply create a new one. I tried it, and to no avail, hasn't worked. I tried the wolfdev file, and I still get kicked out of privileged mode on reboot. I've followed your other videos and have had success with those. I'm going to keep tinkering. Would it be possible for you to share the link of the file manager you specifically used?
Also, I'm not trying to run additional apps, I just want the ability to cast my screen to the tv in front of my treadmill so I don't have to look down as I'm following my iFit workouts. I tried pinning the settings app, but on reboot it's removed. It's weird, because it's the only app that happens to. I'm wondering if I get the file manager/wolfdev thing figured out it will resolve this. For now I'm just using the code generator...hoping that doesn't go away!

Your Android device needs to be rooted to access root mode in any file manager I believe. I'm not sure how he did unless he rooted his Nordictrack in another video. For my Nordictrack Commercial 2450, I created the .wolfDev file in the "storage\emulated\0" folder and that worked for me.
I just got the commercial 1750 and I cant find the emulated folder- did you find it in internal storage? TIA

Thanks for the information. This is allowing me to work around the no wifi error 69000, 69013, & 69015. I can connect to wifi through privilege mode settings but iFit will not auto connect after cycling power. Waiting hear from tech support on a fix.

Create a folder called sdcard in the root of your system

Hey, thanks for this video. I was able to unlock my 2950 and s22i. Whenever I try to load something from play store, it says app unavailable for this device. Wondering if anyone is able to load any apps or if you all just use the browser for every thing you watch?
Haven't got play store working. All apps are sideloaded using the apk.
This limits the functionality a bit, but overall its very usable
I put it in the code and privileged mode started and I briefly saw the desktop and the machine kicked me back into I fit. Any ideas?
I'm getting the same thing now. This video worked for me for a couple months, but now I'm getting kicked back to ifit all the time even when in privileged mode.

Can the new S22i be made to fully run zwift and utilize auto adjust incline and resistance??

I attempted installing Zwift on the NordicTrack T6.5 Si treadmill but have insufficient storage. There are other YT hacks to remote in from a PC and remove unnecessary Android OS software but there is a risk of lobotomizing your machine.
ES File Manager requires a paid subscription to access the system files. Do you have another alternative?

I can get into privileged mode but when I try and use the browser I get the permission denied you can change in apps/ settings but when I go there there isn’t any option to change this does anyone have any advice???? I just bought the Nordic track 2450 for Christmas

I tried this method but I don’t have an sdcard folder so I tried to add it to root and it just says operation unsuccessful. No folders pull up at all when I hit the android icon in the file explorer, any ideas?
You could try a different file Explorer and make sure you grant it full permissions.
I have a new x32 with android 7 and cannot find a netflix apk that will run. Also when I do, can it run as a floating app?

You may need to try different apk files. I never had a problem, but others have said they did

There are a few different versions. As long as you have access to the root folder you're fine.
Gave this a try. When I select to open root folder file manager app closes. Could be iFit has now disabled root access…
Update… tried a different file manager app and was successful, although I did not see a folder called sdcard.
You can create the folder if it d9esnt exist. Jusy make sure it's in the root

@@GearsAndTech thank you! I got that set up however my file manager does not look like yours or has the file you are referring to ! I did a search for sd card but it’s just not pulling up .
My file explorer looks a little different than the one in this video so I uninstalled it and reinstalled the ones linked in the notes. They both still look slightly different, but I was able to get to to Sdcard folder without trouble. I got an error that the operation failed and I needed to try another name. Ideas? I used .wolfDev

Yes, no ifit needed to do Netflix. You will need a Netflix account though

Are there any secret activation codes for the app itself? I have to use my tablet with the machine and download the app and start a membership that way. Older machine, pro-form 545i.....
Haven't found crack codes for it. Because of the network connection it's too easy to lock down

I can't get Taskbar to display the button. The app runs fine, as do the others I installed, but the lower left button, or the taskbar menu at the bottom does not show.
Also, when I created the new file in the sdcard folder, I cant see it, as if it's a hidden file....is that correct?
You'll know the wolfdev trick worked if you reboot the machine and you still have privlidge mode.

Need to use Firefox or something else. Chrome needs google apps installed which you can't install

I haven't done a video on that because it's actually on your router that you would block the update

Just bought my treadmill and got into the privileged mode, the update blocks me before I can install anything. They are definitely getting wiser to what we're trying to do

I have used the 10 taps to access the Privileged Mode Code and factory reset my Proform Studio Pro (Seems to be same as Nordictrac S10i without the USB or reset pin hole). As of today, I foolishly conected it to the internet without blocking updates and now the 10 taps no longer work. Anyone have a clue how to get to the Privileged Mode Code menu after the most recent update? Makes me wonder if the code generator will will work... Scared.
Only way is to find a reset hole and factory reset and don't uodate

recently bought proform 9000 treadmill from cost co. watched your videos from 1/7/22, 2/6/22, and this 11/9/22 and followed directions. didn't work for me. screen is on but it is like in stuck in boot up mode. i had to do hard reset, and now it's working again like new. thanks anyways.
Nice work! If you feel brave enough you can try the process again.
If it doesn't work you can always hard reset to get back to factory again
I bought the NordicTrack 2950 (2021) today. Everything turned out to be done except for the most important thing. When I open UA-cam, it shows a red logo, and then the application just disappears :(
For youtube I usually have to use chrome browser. The app mostly doesn't work

Ah ok.
But the app still connects to the machine as long as the machine is iFit compatible. I can do this with my Nordic Track treadmill. It doesnt have the fancy screen, but I have the iFit app on my iPad and the speed and incline is controlled by the app (when “follow trainer” is selected).

No bypass for ifit service. Pay for it or don't. If you unlock the unit you can skip ifit

Great videos! It would be nice if you can help us figure out how to install zwift no matter what Android version we have (5.1.1) and take advantage of the resistance and incline. Even if it takes to do any type of extra adjustment to the bike. Such an expensive bike and can't use it with Zwift.

I got it to work, there was no sd card file to add the new file. I just added it and it worked. Have you tried to install zwift? Would love if you could try to get it to work on the Nordic track screen. You might need the qz fitness app make it work.

That would be great. I installed it and also did the hack so privilege mode was always on and you can toggle back and forth between apps. All connects fine. Start the iFit, set a speed, the speed matches on the qz app. Open zwift start a run, the avatar is running at the speed of the treadmill. Increase speed, treadmill picks up the speed, but on zwift it stays the same and the qz doesn’t change. When I toggle back to iFit the screen is white with just the logo showing and doesn’t go back to the manual workout. It’s so close to work. Not sure how to fix.
Problems with Wi-Fi. Can get into privilege mode, but when I click on NETFLIX, it won't open. What should I do?
You need to try different versions of Netflix until you get one that works

It works on pretty much all nordictrack equipment that uses the tablet

Every time I browse to the root directory the file manager app crashes.
When I try to save the file, it keeps saying unsuccessful. Is this patched out? Or do I need to root my device or somethibg else? Please help!
It shouldnt be patched out. Make sure you put a dot at the front of the name
@@GearsAndTech i put .wolfDev and it said unsuccessful multiple times, rewatches, and reading comments also didnt work.
