Good morning, after making the code and generating it, my treadmill will go into privileged mode, yes? that means that google, google play and ifit will be installed there? because I'm afraid that it will break the machine😢I would be grateful for an answer. Best regards

Luckily, I found out about Nordictrack locking users out of administrator (privilege) mode within my 30-day trial basis. I called them today for a code to enable Netflix and they refused to provide one (I just found out about the secret code generator but decided to return bike instead). I told them to come pick up the machine. It's costing me freight + 10% of machine cost so that's the price of my lesson. Thing is, I wanted and would have continued to pay iFit subscription regardless but having viewing options like Netflix, Amazon Prime or UA-cam adds variety and they are denying us such. So once refund is processed, I'll look for alternatives.
so you're bragging that you paid nordictrack their profit margin and then allowed them to resell the machine for more profit... you sure showed them bro
@@Tubezilla Hi! I couldn't find a bike that had it all so instead I went for a Marcy multigym. It occupies about the same floor space and has far more training options. My philosophy is that if a manufacturer locks me out for some equipment I bought and outright own, I'm not buying it. Good luck with your program and wishing you much success!

This method to reach privilege mode worked for me 1/3/2023 on my NordicTrack EXP14i with the latest App Version 2.6.81.4158 Admin Version 2.1.1.1227 Thanks for posting this. The other method I had used previously was not working for me any longer where you set a PIN for the lock screen immediately after a factory reset.
May be a stupid question but how do you stay in privlidge mode and also be able to turn your machine belt on?

Did you have any issues with peleton app? Everything else is working but a lot of the peleton videos give me an error. I do pay for the subscription as well since it’s much cheaper than if it.

Your Android device needs to be rooted to access root mode in any file manager I believe. I'm not sure how he did unless he rooted his Nordictrack in another video. For my Nordictrack Commercial 2450, I created the .wolfDev file in the "storage\emulated\0" folder and that worked for me.
I just got the commercial 1750 and I cant find the emulated folder- did you find it in internal storage? TIA

What are your thoughts on first downloading an update blocker before the rest of the steps? I am able to stay in privileged mode but most of the apps don’t work including Hulu Disney and Amazon prime. I can use Netflix and Chrome but cannot use the previous apps on chrome or as a standalone app. I might do another hard reset and install the update blocker before the other steps in this video and see if I can keep them working. New R35 recumbent bike... instructions worked great! Big thanks. Question: if I start Netflix playing and then try to swap to iFit, the Netflix playback seems to pause. I've seen other vids where it continues to play in the background. Have I done something wrong?

So I just picked up a ProForm HIIt H14 and my tablet doesn’t show a sdcard in storage it just has an internal storage that’s where I put the wolf file and I’m still doing some testing to see if that works but my apps all open in a small window instead of full screen any suggestions for that?

Just got our new 2450 working but was having issues with UA-cam and Hulu any work arounds?
Two things: First, every time I click on "ES file manager" the screen turns sideways. I have to turn the machine off and then on to get it back. Secondly there is no folder on the file manager that says "/sdcard". There is DCIM, Download, Alarms, Android, backup, era, movies, music, my favorite, notifications, pictures, podcasts, ringtones and update. Where is that folder?

I've tried a few different file managers, but I can't locate the "sdcard" file. I read through the comments, and noticed I could simply create a new one. I tried it, and to no avail, hasn't worked. I tried the wolfdev file, and I still get kicked out of privileged mode on reboot. I've followed your other videos and have had success with those. I'm going to keep tinkering. Would it be possible for you to share the link of the file manager you specifically used?
Also, I'm not trying to run additional apps, I just want the ability to cast my screen to the tv in front of my treadmill so I don't have to look down as I'm following my iFit workouts. I tried pinning the settings app, but on reboot it's removed. It's weird, because it's the only app that happens to. I'm wondering if I get the file manager/wolfdev thing figured out it will resolve this. For now I'm just using the code generator...hoping that doesn't go away!

Important question- do you have an ifit membership and you have just expanded you viewing capabilities by adding Netflix, Primevideo etc.? I.e. can you do this without any i-fit membership?

I have an older elliptical with an older, smaller tablet. My biggest complaint is when I bought the device it included quite a few workouts. It states on the machine it has 35 workouts. Over the years they reduced the "free" workouts. I find it insane I have to pay 40 bucks a month to watch old exercise videos they had to film once. It's twice what Netflix costs.
I'd like to find a method to load some of those exercises back.

Hello just got one i think you probably already figured it out but just hold down on the app and a little window will show up right above it and just click on open new window and click the size you want to open it

File explorer works fine, but no SSD card is listed. what alternate location can this file be added to ?

I am getting good at making the software changes as I have done it a few times now - I just keep playing with it and loosing privileged mode - but my fault. I was not able to find the \SDCARD directory - as I don't have an SD card on this machine - but I'll keep looking for it. YES... do not upgrade once working as you mention. I am happy with my setup now; have ICONS on the home screen for CNN, FOX News, MSNBC, NBC and many others, and a nice window of 8 websites I visit from time to time; also added the clock widget and weather. I'd be interested how the .wolfDev prevents the privileged mode from being overwritten, and HOW IN THE WORLD did you discover that? rhetorical question. Anyway, thanks for the info. The wolfdev exploit was discovered by another viewer of the channel. When I asked him how he figured it out he said he had a dump of the software that he was looking through the code and kept finding a check for that wolfdev file.
It was pretty clear what it would do based on how the code was written
The machine has reference to an SD card even if you don't have one installed. If you don't have the directory you can create it on the root of the storage and then create the wolfdev file and it will work

I haven't done a video on that because it's actually on your router that you would block the update

Just bought my treadmill and got into the privileged mode, the update blocks me before I can install anything. They are definitely getting wiser to what we're trying to do

Great videos! It would be nice if you can help us figure out how to install zwift no matter what Android version we have (5.1.1) and take advantage of the resistance and incline. Even if it takes to do any type of extra adjustment to the bike. Such an expensive bike and can't use it with Zwift.

Yes, no ifit needed to do Netflix. You will need a Netflix account though

Update… tried a different file manager app and was successful, although I did not see a folder called sdcard.
You can create the folder if it d9esnt exist. Jusy make sure it's in the root

Just bought a used Nordic track 2950 commercial treadmill from a friend who previously owned it, he told me the screen display was black and not visible but the touchpad sill worked. As soon as I got home I noticed that the screen display is actually still visible but it’s really hard to see anything(as if the brightness was all the way down). I tried to put the brightness all the way up on the ifit settings but nothing will happen, do you have any idea what could be wrong with the screen? I can scroll up and down on the screen the only problem is the brightness

I found out that the cable for the video signal inside the screen was loose.
I took the screen apart, and fixed the cable, and boom problem fixed😊
I'm stuck on what step comes next after entering privilege mode on a new machine and what video helps me to install the file manager and the apk app and in what order this needs to be in.
Ifit now updates before any of that can be done as of my treadmill purchase this week

I attempted installing Zwift on the NordicTrack T6.5 Si treadmill but have insufficient storage. There are other YT hacks to remote in from a PC and remove unnecessary Android OS software but there is a risk of lobotomizing your machine.
This worked like a charm! However Hulu will not allow me to login it keeps saying my password is wrong even after I double checked it. Also UA-cam app keeps crashing every time I open it. Anyone else have these problems?
I just bought a S22i used and it has android 5.1.1, should I connect and let it update to whatever is current and then do this or leave it at 5.1.1?

Hi love the video. I have a 2450. The screen was locked on the white start up screen ,so I did a reset. Now it is stuck in easing displayed on screen. I have reset it several times and it gets stuck, black screen with a circle and says erasing.
Thanks for the information. This is allowing me to work around the no wifi error 69000, 69013, & 69015. I can connect to wifi through privilege mode settings but iFit will not auto connect after cycling power. Waiting hear from tech support on a fix.
Hey, thanks for this video. I was able to unlock my 2950 and s22i. Whenever I try to load something from play store, it says app unavailable for this device. Wondering if anyone is able to load any apps or if you all just use the browser for every thing you watch?
Haven't got play store working. All apps are sideloaded using the apk.
This limits the functionality a bit, but overall its very usable
Neither file manager app would install for me from either these links or google App Store. Says device not supported for the app. Help please.
You may need to try different apk files. I never had a problem, but others have said they did
recently bought proform 9000 treadmill from cost co. watched your videos from 1/7/22, 2/6/22, and this 11/9/22 and followed directions. didn't work for me. screen is on but it is like in stuck in boot up mode. i had to do hard reset, and now it's working again like new. thanks anyways.
Nice work! If you feel brave enough you can try the process again.
If it doesn't work you can always hard reset to get back to factory again

If you use the one shown in the video you just click on the top and it'll take you to the root file system
I have a new x32 with android 7 and cannot find a netflix apk that will run. Also when I do, can it run as a floating app?

I cant get any of the APKs to install. The give me error saying parse error. Any suggestions? tried installing older apks but I couldn't find any older that late 2024

I bought the NordicTrack 2950 (2021) today. Everything turned out to be done except for the most important thing. When I open UA-cam, it shows a red logo, and then the application just disappears :(
For youtube I usually have to use chrome browser. The app mostly doesn't work

This worked perfectly on my new 1750 I got today... thank you! I do have a question for you or others... has anyone been able to get Chrome working? I sideloaded it but when it goes to run it just pops up an error that it stopped.
Need to use Firefox or something else. Chrome needs google apps installed which you can't install
im having trouble with es file manager. my app looks different. did the app change or did i download the wrong one.
There are a few different versions. As long as you have access to the root folder you're fine.
I can't get into root mode. It tells me that it is not rooted. 😞 I need to find some other approach. After I restarted iFit I could find no way to get back out of iFit and back to the Android screen.
Hello Sir! I have a Proform 2000 treadmill. I'm trying to set it up on "forever privilege mode". On my treadmill, there's no "sdcard" shown under the file manager to add the file .wolfDev. Can you please tell me where to add it? Thanks!
Create a folder called sdcard in the root of your system
everything worked until i came back to my treadmill the next day and it didnt work. actually the task bar is still there but when i tap any app it goes on for a second then it tuirns back off. Can you help me ?
I followed all your steps and even tried downloading several versions of Netflix through the apk pure but still when i try to open any Netflix movie it says device not compatible. PLEASE HELP?
Usually you won't even get into the app. If you made it into the app then I'm not sure how to help you
Are there any secret activation codes for the app itself? I have to use my tablet with the machine and download the app and start a membership that way. Older machine, pro-form 545i.....
Haven't found crack codes for it. Because of the network connection it's too easy to lock down
