Would love to see y’all cover mirror welding more and maybe some hot pickups or something else most people breaking out on outage work or whatever probably has no clue about.

    Actually you just described a gas valve exactly.
    It’s actually a gas solenoid he is referencing for those that want to learn correctly.

    Quick question how come you turn the juice up to 110 when I've done 2" heavy wall 6g in the past I've rooted on about 80 amps for the bottom then up to about 90 then I fill and cap on the same juice to try and akeep the heat out of it because in the past I've been told it can cause paws if the pipe gets to hot I've been welding 11 years and still leaning and getting better all time am just tryna pick up some more knowledge always aiming to improve, great job btw

    • @Intrusive32
      @Intrusive32 4 роки тому +2

      tig is only 100% argon or helium argon mix which is more expensive. 75/25 is a no go in tig welding

    • @user-zr6gh7mb4y
      @user-zr6gh7mb4y 4 роки тому +1

      @@Intrusive32 no it's not. There is a argon- oxygen mix (98/2, 95/5) for aluminum, a argon-nitrogen mix for duplex stainless steel and a argon- hydrogen mix for regular stainless steel. That's why it is technically incorrect to use the term TIG, because the I stands for inert. GTAW - proper way to call this process. Peace✌.
