@@Wifimoneyss I failed on the cap, had a bit of undercut because I didn’t let it cool enough and it ran hot. Take all the time they’ll give you cause stupid mistakes like that will cost you
Masterly and a joy to watch. Just the relaxed explanation to make it understandable to everyone is a gift for which my big thanks. Greetz from Holland, Marcel Knippers😃
Turnaround and new construction welder here out of Houston Texas bro i gotta give you your credit where its due i passed so many tests from watchin your videos alone. I just signed up for a boilermaker union down here about to take my 6G tube test in August. You're right on time with this one. Also can you post an updated one with tig root 7018 feel and cap. Appreciate the tutorials bro if theres a way to support i will
I see some separation part between weld root at 5:18 . I don't know maybe i didn't see as well as i could the root. I think when you make a video for us you can't focus as much as you need. So i think this video was good enough. Thank you again bro ❤
@@Hamid-az Nah, he's fine. You can see while he's backfeeding/laywiring it, he's breaking down the bevelled edge. It's impossible to have an edge, because the edge physically broke away, and got replaced with the filler metal, that is what the Keyhole is, it's just the bevel breaking down. Could he be under and have suckback? Sure, but there will never be lack of penetration with a keyhole cause you can't have that with one.
@@DrCranberry Thank you for your explanation and guidance, dear friend. No doubt it is, and I just wanted to make sure because I'm learning. I wish you and channel X3M-TIG success.🙏❤️
I love all your videos! About to take a monster coupon test this morning. XXS 2 inch tig all the way and XXS 6inch tig/stick. Been watching many of your videos all night. What do you use to film these? Great arc shots!
I see you had a little under cut. I was welding in a coffin, down in the double bottom of a ship. I had to put the filler rod around the pipe, just the get a tack. Once I got it, i was good to go. It's better to let it cool down, I found. You do very nice work. Try standing on your head and weld this up, areal life application. Thanks
Hey bud, thanks for your comment. First of, there is no undercut, second, I don’t have to stand on my head to weld like that, because I did that a lot in my career, now I pick and choose what to weld or simply pass on welders like you! Remember, there is a fine line between confidence and arrogance, stay humble!

Once you get your qualifications performance ticket, apply for a local job or join a local union.
