Being sus of the dad is pretty justified because in most cases where kids die, it's typically someone they know intimately. In the book that pig scene was way more fucked up, thankfully they scaled it down for the show because it was disturbing. I think they focused on Alan to show that he feels a lack of control in his household. Adora seems to be the one in charge and Amma is out of control. Now with Camille there, things are worse.

I remember in the book, Amma was said to be 13. So I think the show might be following that age range. Insane to think about when she’s acting the way she is!

I found everyone sus at this point. I think I may need to eventually rewatch this. There are so many details you can miss the first time. The subject matter is triggering though so I will probably wait a bit.
It's such a dark show and I had been waiting for people to react to it on here but I kinda can't believe it's been 6 years since it aired. Watching the reactions now I'm remembering some of those little details you're talking about and wanting to go back and rewatch it in full.
