Camille’s spiralling. She’s a semi-functional alcoholic with unprocessed trauma planted back into the core of said trauma - she was always going to spiral and mentally regress to the age and person she was when she last was in Wind Gap: a troubled teenager who sought the affection her mother never gave her. One of the strengths of this tv show, as well as Gillian Flynn’s writing in general, is that there are no “good guys”, or, rather, “good girls”. Everyone is morally grey. And yet, Camille is perhaps among the best of the lot here - not bad, just hurt, and hurt people do bad things sometimes that cannot be excused but can be explained.
The way Camille has just had to bury and belittle her past assaults- it breaks my heart.
Man I wish these reactions were getting more views. Such an udnerrated show that deserves WAYYY more attention
LOL this is my favorite episode of this show. People are so weird, it's what I love about southern gothic because it's just a lot of unhinged people in a small town. They can only hurt each other.
Honestly like Bryce was saying at the beginning this show has so many weird abd interesting characters half the time I don’t know what’s going on but I’m invested loving the reactions
What I gathered from the beginning with Alan is that him and Adora are still married for appearances only. Also that she is the one in control. The way she asked him to handle Camille and reprimanded him when he didn't get it done? Their house is huge and he doesn't even get his own separate bedroom? Has to sleep on a hideaway bed? Very telling.
“This is just no good behavior out of her.”
The Preaker-Crellin girls are… special.
"You can't trust Adoras girl's now, can you?"
This is a show that makes you think and has you on the edge of your seat until the very end. The final two episodes... 🤯
PLEASE GUYS, DO BIG LITTLE LIES SEASON 1 AFTER SHARP OBJECTS! 🥺🙏🏼
Also: don't forget about the credits scenes (important) on the last ep of Sharp Objects!
Yes!
It’s not important at all. It doesn’t change or add anything of significance
“Why does his ass need to be out for so long?”
IDK. Call it karma for GoT or some shit.
“Cherry” is, like, the second craziest episode. At least, that’s what I think.
This is my fav ep of the whole show. That spinning scene is so creepy
I can’t believe y’all are already almost done…I can’t wait for these last 2 reactions
“Camille is a thirty-year-old woman at high school house party right now.”
As far as I know- she’s older than 30. 💀
This show has such a range of different characters, it really holds your attention, I feel like I'm always hyper focused trying to figure everything out😅
4:35 Bryce is a freak confirmed! 👏💀
Awesome reaction of my favorite episode of Sharp Objects!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
The first time I watched this series it gave me a bit of a trigger, because at that time I was going through a lot of small town shit, coming out of a small church, it was like people were really making each other hell, like a purgatory, today after moving away from many friends and family I can say that I am better, but still trying to leave the city.
Please watch the entire last episode…including credits. So many ppl missed that
I live in missouri not too far from where this show is (fictionally) set and ugh.... yeah, people really do be acting like this, and the overall vibe of the town is very accurate when you're a black sheep.
Thanks to Bryce, Rob and Zuff! 😶🌫 Bryce wondered why the characters are so odd. As someone who grew up in the south, I've noticed there is a lot of strangeness in a culture where people are pressured to behave in ways that aren't innate to who they are. The societal pressure to be polite combined with a general religious skew (which is oppressive to those who see ancient texts as metaphor instead of factual) create a scenario in which many are able to achieve a semblance of solace... but the highly sensitive, the free-thinkers... they either self-destruct under the tension or they act out in ways that seem bizarre. In a more accepting atmosphere, their eccentricity might feel more natural... even celebrated. Alas, this is an age-old phenomenon.
Imagine Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) in this show- 💀💀💀

I knew my man Bryce was a milk-drinker. That’s what I like to see baby.
Camille has been making poor choices since the beginning, is it really all that surprising she's making more?
Camille is such a tragic character
5:34….No Bryce, lets not lol 😅😅
Please, please, please don't scape credits on episode 8, go to the final final
Young teens/women like Amma's character are really dangerous, and people fall for their act and thus they get their way with everything, as you pointed out. Even you three fell for it and called John ''creep'' when he's the one who actually saw that Amma is a bad person manipulating others. I guess it's because you try to be politically correct and conditioned to think that way, so when an older character is looking at a teenage girl, you are conditioned to think the older character is a ''creep'' and not put any more thought into it, even if there's clear red flags showing the teenage girl is bad person. Same with the teacher, he saw exactly what Amma was. Kinda worrying when people aren't even half capable judges of character, and that is why young women are very often so successful at manipulating other people.
