I think the whole point was that her best friend came with the sole intention of seeing Fritz and then coincidentally she was able to watch Gracie perform with Taylor Swift that same weekend. If she never planned to see Fritz she would have never made the trip and seen her best friend perform live with their favourite artist.
Casual listener, new fan here. With risk coming out, I see what made me a huge Taylor fan, a raw and honest artist. And no I’m invested in Gracie, glad to see this and I look forward to her new music!

I can't stand when people act like certain musicians or actors who obviously wouldn't be where they are could have gotten there without the major help they had along the way, but will then criticize the ones who didn't use every connection they had at their disposal to rise to the top, they actually worked for it, Gracie is the first type of celebrity that comes from a famous family, she would not be where she is if not for her dad, and she certainly would not have worked with Taylor Swift if it wasn't for her dad.
