Little Women was definitely my #1 this year! Loved it!!!! It did jump back and forth a lot, but it’s easier to understand if you’ve seen the one from the ‘90s. But it was absolutely gorgeous and had me smiling, crying, and laughing in the theatre!

Portrait of a Lady on Fire was my favourite film of 2019. But also I really like the Netflix Beyoncé film?! I thought it was so well shot and edited and of course the content was amazing.
I gotta watch the movies on this list! I’d say go to the Q&A rather than the premiere. The movie will still be out after, this is a special once in a lifetime thing! Some of my favorite movies of 2019 were Bohemian Rhapsody, Period. End of Sentence, Us, Rocketman, and Hotel Mumbai.

I LOVED Knives Out. Not a spoiler: It's actually a film about immigration disguised as a mystery film. Absolutely brilliant! I also recommend The Lighthouse which borrows from Igmar Bergman's older films such as Persona. I really hope Parasite wins the Oscar for best picture so it will gain the recognition it deserves. Unfortunately I have a feeling it won't, but I hope I'm wrong. Definitely one of the best of the decade. I still need to see Portrait of a Lady on Fire which won't have a wide release until Valentine's Day😔

Have you seen the movie "The Straight Story"? If you haven't seen it, its based after the true story of a guy named Alvin Straight who traveled 260 miles from Wisconsin to Iowa on his lawn mower-tractor just to see his dying brother. It's such a beautiful, unique, amazing movie!
I didn’t feel like Amy and Laurie’s relationship was rushed. I felt like it has a lot of sense that they got together and they we’re perfect for each other. And definitely was portrayed better than the others adaptations. Ps: portrait of a lady on fire is great!!
Ohhhhh, and if you've got the chance to breathe the same air as Bon Joon Ho please just take it !!!! (I might sound like a fanatic, but really his movie was just so great...)

Have you ever seen the PBS series of Little Women? Maya Hawke plays Jo. It’s much more detailed due to the fact it’s a miniseries rather than a film, and it captures the book soo well. In the new film in my opinion although all the actresses are amazing I don’t feel like they fit the character roles as they were written. I loved the miniseries (except the fact they used a grown actress for Amy) and personally think it is the most accurate to the book!

Cool as Chinese,the farewell is really kind of true story just happened everyday around our daily life,moving me a lot. I luuuuuuv the marriage story so much and fall in love with Adam Driver( in my dream:)

my favourites were marriage story, little women, knives out, john wick 3, little monsters, the report, booksmart, midsommar and joker, but there was so many movies i didn't get to see but really wanted to, especially more indie films.
I just showed midsommar to my roommate yesterday and she was horrified! Lol 😂 great list!

Have you seen the movie "The Straight Story"? If you haven't seen it, its based after the true story of a guy named Alvin Straight who traveled 260 miles from Wisconsin to Iowa on his lawn mower-tractor just to see his dying brother. It's such a beautiful, unique, amazing movie!

I didn’t feel like Amy and Laurie’s relationship was rushed. I felt like it has a lot of sense that they got together and they we’re perfect for each other. And definitely was portrayed better than the others adaptations. Ps: portrait of a lady on fire is great!!

Have you ever seen the PBS series of Little Women? Maya Hawke plays Jo. It’s much more detailed due to the fact it’s a miniseries rather than a film, and it captures the book soo well. In the new film in my opinion although all the actresses are amazing I don’t feel like they fit the character roles as they were written. I loved the miniseries (except the fact they used a grown actress for Amy) and personally think it is the most accurate to the book!

Fun fact for booksmart the two main actors actually lived together for a while so their relationship in the movie seems genuine !
