I didn't think I would care for Bridgerton, but because of all the hype I started it after I got off work (around 5) and watched it until 3am the next day without stopping. It is great.
Bridgerton is amazing!!! The way it shot is incredible and it's used bright colours which compare to other shows set in that time is so nice to watch .

can't wait for minari to come to digital next month!! when I tried to stream it through a film fest last year the tix sold out within minutes and I missed it 😿
i 100% recommend "la belle epoque" if you haven't watched yet (maybe its techinacally a 2019 movie but released here in 2020 so) plot: there is a studio that making set designs for people who wanna go and live a specific time. well we're seeing most people choosing historical things and there is our pratoganist, who is near to an end for his marriage, wanting to go back to 70s where he found his love of life. this film is captivating; full of life, feeling young and in love. story, actings, soundtracks aaaaand production design is sooo good there is not much to say as cons. a movie that probably gonna left you with a :') face, i loved it so much.
Ps: Bridgerton is really not that great, but if you are looking to watch something without paying that much attention y para pasar el tiempo, i recommend it 😊

last night i watched *words on bathroom walls* and i truly adored it!! its a coming of age movie about a boy who suffers from schizophrenia and its so so PRECIOUS UGH i recommend 101%
bridgerton is definitely worth watching! beautiful love story, also talks about feminism and female position in a society and first of all this series is so aesthetically pleasing! costumes are so pretty that's why watching is just a pleasure. i would recommend it!

I’ve put off watching Emma for weeks now lol guess what. I watched it last night and as of right now, have watched it 3 times in the last 24 hours. It’s so funny and wholesome and has the tiniest background details that adds so much character to the film. 💕 I feel like I need to watch it at least once for every character that I should focus on for the whole movie hahaha
Nomadland was the last movie I watched at the cinemas in 2020. The cinematography was breathtaking and I really hope it takes home an Academy award for Best Cinematography and Director. I hope you’re able to watch it before the awards season! There’s still a lot of 2020 movies I probably haven’t seen yet but I just recently watched ‘Promising Young Woman’ and it’s probably my favourite so far. Carey Mulligan’s character is so bold and I just love the soundtrack - I think it basically featured female artists? (Correct me if I’m wrong!). The whole movie just exudes strong feminine energy and I usually don’t like thrillers but I thoroughly enjoyed YPW 😊

I'm so happy I was able to watch most of these last year although some of them haven't been released in my country yet. :( I recommend Saint Maud, System Crasher + Rocks all three are incredible! Also, love the editing and work put into this video
did you watched another round? it was a delightful film about celebrating life! not dictating anything to the audience and i loved how it felt truthful. alsoo on an improtant note: we're seeing a LOT of mads mikkelsen, in an emotianal rollercoster. plus seeing him dancing (or even just looking at his face) is the joy itself. one of the greatest and most charming actors of our generation. :')
I watched the Drummer Movie on your recommendation and it was kind of weird for me because I think the story line is good but the main character and his love interest were very artificially given character traits. it was not at all realistic and i didnt like the ending. what i did like was the struggle with being deaf and adapting to sensing the world differently.

I watched bridgerton out of boredom but and Im not expecting that much, but it is really good the series overall is fantastic the time I finished it Im kind of hoping for more, it is a love story and the take of this series on period films is refreshing also its abt the power of women its just GOSH
Watch every other top 2020 movies and they are all the same with mainstream Hollywood movies and nothing interesting. This is the only channel that actually recommends different films and anime. To be honest I only watched two of the films you mentioned so I have a lot of catching up to do. Glad I found this one!

i went into hermit mode in 2020 and just didn't feel like anything was worth vlogging :( was kinda down in the dumps tbh. i may start soon although they'll be more film/movie focused than just my everyday life which isn't very interesting hehe

hi monica, do you think you could talk about how to approach being a director? i'm 14 and i'm passionate about filmaking but tbh i have no idea where to start. what movies do you reccomend? i feel inclined to wes anderson type films but i love pretty much every genre. also what's your opinion on locals thinking indie movies are just about skating etc. , an dead poets society being just a 'dark acedamia' movie, bc some people *cough* straight tiktok, seem to think movies are just an aesthetic without art and meaning behind it. sorry that was a long ass rant no one asked for but it pisses me off as someone who loves films
I believe that Dead Poets Society is one of the best movies with a beautiful message to “Carpe Diem!” and yea the aesthetic is nice but remember every movie has their own specialty!❤️
