I reaaaally love this! but as a ravenclaw, I think that "the dead poets society" could work for both, raven and gryffindor. I'm falling in love with the aesthetic of your videos, this is the kind of content that youtube deserves!!
Hi! I feel like I'm a Slytherin. I've get that result in the Pottermore test for 7 times, I guess? So... I guess I am a snake, haha. At first, I had my dudes like "oh, no, I'm doing something wrong and I'm evil". But no. A bit, like everyone, if evil is understand as being selfish, having too much ego, being a bit bored of social situations... The case is, surprise, everybody is that way at some point in their lifes. In my opinion, Slytherin traits are more than that. I think it is something more than being ambitious, proud, cunning. I understand ambition as achieving your goals, yes, but it has not to be necessary a competition between you and the world, it's about beating yourself every day and be the best you can be, being good, being wise, to use what you know to do what you think that is right too. A Slytherin can be a good person! About being cunning... You can know how people's mind work, their patterns, and use that information to doing the things better that them by your own, with independence, specifically when you truly know that you would do that thing better and yes, sometimes for good purposes that involves the sociaty. Again, what everybody does at some point in their lifes. People often get afraid of independence, and I don't know why. And about being proud... Not necessarily. I'd better say that is being conscious about yourself, your limitations and your strong/good points. That's why I suffer when I found that people associate music, movies, whatever to Slytherin thinking "OK, powerful people who always do what they want, being careless about moral and other people, and who want to rule the world at any cost and do bad things". I REALLY appreciate your recommendations, but I'd like to see, for the first time, any recommendations about inspiring Slytherins, doing the right thing, following his own path, with determination and perfectionism, beating themselves every day to do/be the best they can be for themselves and for the world.
I guess you in hufflepuff house just because you look sooooo friendly and I feel happy when watch this videooo. Hufflepuff always spread a happiness!! ✨💛
I LOVE that I'm a Ravenclaw, it represents me and my motivations so well 😍💕 Also I think Sherlock would be a good series for Ravenclaw, as well a Prison Break because the characters are so clever and it's just fascinating to watch ☺️
Here's my picks Slytherin: you killed it I don't even have to change a thing which is why I think your a slytherin Huffepuff Marie Antoinette ( Marie Antoinette her goal as an individual is to make the people around her happy and please and become dedicated to the throne and through her interactions in the film is to make sure everyone around her is happy but she become less happy because of that) To all the boys I love before (Literally in the film series she is a hufflepuff and its movie is sweet and charming and shows Lara Jean becoming a better friend, establishing her work ethic and understanding true patience) Meditation park ( A woman finally becoming independent through getting her first job and gaining a life outside of her home, sounds gryffindor but through this film it's charming and sweet view of a woman finally learning to become part of her community) gryffindor: Amelia (I feel Amelie isn't Hufflepuff, what motivate her actions is her goal to become a humanitarian. Gryffindor and Hufflepuffs want to do the right thing but hufflepuffs want to do right by their people and inner circle while Gryffindor want to uplift everybody. What inspired her to become better is through not her community which I feel is what confuse hufflepuffs with Gryffindors but people she never met. Even though she made small changes for her personal group, it actually was for the worse if not better for the lives an example was getting her friend involved with their coworker jealous ex. It's hard to place this movie as hufflepuff because she truly is isolated from the rest of the community to say she is part of it. Even the people she work with can barely be called close friends) The Book Thief (this is where Gryffindor and Ravenclaw cross, yes this book has a lot of literature and reading but it's usage is to become educated, empower the people to become stronger and help people in a crisis) Fight club (A lot of philosophy but what make it an amazing film for a gryffindor is that it challenge again status quo and what it means to be independent and a strong person. It's really is a cautionary tale for Gryffindors Ravenclaw: Dead Poet Society (Yes, Keating change people minds but the reality for this movie it was about leaving behind the archaic mentality to become well rounded thinkers. The movie goal is to become scholars and not actually become braver) Dr. Strange (I feel this is obvious) Big Fish (endorses a strong imagination and the subtle references in the film are very literary base)
I agree about the dead poet society part. I feel like its more ravenclaw than gryffindor idk why maybe it involves a lot of knowledge? But i do feel like its a mix for both houses.
@@vodka6612 For me it's ravenclaw because of the point of view is become free thinkers and open minded and that encourage bravery. That's the real difference between ravenclaws and gryffindors who are smart or love books. Gryffindors use their bravery and courage to pursue knowledge. While Ravenclaw use their knowledge to become brave and become empower. The whole point of this movie is how knowledge empowers, which is why I get ravenclaw energy
No, Hufflepuffs do good just because. It's not do right by their people or their inner circle. They do the right thing because it's the right thing. They don't have any self-serving reasons or want any gain for such behaviors.
@@chichang9377 hufflepuffs tend to be bias as hell. Hufflepuffs are loyal, that's their distinct feature. You can't be truly loyal if your interested in all people. They have people they are dedicated to and solely them.
@@chichang9377 What you just describe was Gryffindor attributes. Gryffindor don't care who they hurt as long as they feel cautious they are doing the right thing...hufflepuffs literally sense of right and wrong is centered by their community
I loved my house's recommendation (aka Hufflepuff, which I think it's your house too) Amelie is one of my favorite movie and I'm very curious about The last black man in San Francisco and Whispers of the heart! I'll watch! Thanks for recommendations 💛💛
The way you analyze the signs: Ravenclaw I changed my answer half way: your analytical but there also seem like there's a part of you who analyze these houses for competitive reasoning if that make sense and your movies you pick was more on point for this house. I love Amelie but I would argue that movie can fit every aspect of the house except maybe slytherins: Whimsical, loving, courageous. Meanwhile your slytherin picks were on point to the point it was scary how accurate you were ...Slytherin. Also your wording, 'all of a sudden have to be a savior of everybody' that sounds what a slytherin would say.
I liked the Hufflepuff ones.💛 I liked the first one for Ravenclaw. I don't really want to watch the other 2.💙 I don't feel like I would want to watch any of the Slytherin ones.💚 I liked the last 2 ones for Gryffindor. I watched Kubo and didn't like it that much actually.❤ That was a beautiful video.😊
Your descriptions of the houses were really interesting! a combination of book and fandom traits. I always say ravenclaws are wise so they are deep, philosophical thinkers and slytherins are cunning so they are smart at understanding/manipulating people (can be a good thing as well as bad!) Slytherins were written as evil in the books but it's really fun to examine how their traits can be used for good!
This was so cool! I love Amelie and The Social Network might be my favourite film (in terms of how many times I've seen it it definitely is) and I'm either Hufflepuff or Slytherin, so I wholeheartedly agree with this list! :D
In my opinion you get sorted in the hogwarts house, which represents the qualities you value highly even when they do not currently resemble you. So if hufflepuff really speaks to you the most, then you can consider yourself a hufflepuff😊 Btw I'm hufflepuff aswell❤😁
@@cookiedough4825 well true.. but if you resemble the opposite you can’t. I love Hufflepuffs with all my Slytherin heart and I value their qualities, but that won’t make me Hufflepuff, it just shows my admiration for those characteristics, maybe because I am bound to mine.
I pretty recently came across this channel and I must say that I think your videos are very sweet and entertaining, I’m definitely subscribing and a few movies and shows I’d recommend would be: Gryffindor: *Sing Street* (it’s a brilliant and inspiring film about following your dreams and not let anyone else decide who you’re gonna be) *Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse* (Awesome film that is embracing the idea that anyone can be a hero) *Hot Fuzz* (Hilarious film with courageous heroes going up against a corrupt system) *Band of Brothers* (I couldn’t find that many tv shows but I mean the war obviously required bravery+ its brilliant) Hufflepuff: *Forrest Gump* (Has there ever been a character that is more Hufflepuff than Forrest?) *Little Miss Sunshine* (Feel good, family, working hard for a dream, Hufflepuff) *Parks and Rec* (Lovely show that really built up the characters as a big family+ Leslie is a perfect Hufflepuff) *The Good Place* (Basically a show about being nicer to people, I think it fits) Ravenclaw: *Memento* (An awesome but challenging film that lets the audience try to piece the puzzle together, also other Nolan movies like Interstellar) *Sorry To Bother You* (A very clever satire with a very unique premise and execution) *Westworld* (Sometimes confusing, often brilliant it just feels like Ravenclaw) Rick and Morty (I mean it’s very Ravenclaw right? Witty, clever and about a genius) Ofc also Doctor Who for Ravenclaw but that seems to obvious Slytherin: *The Wolf of Wall Street* (A smart and cunning man that goes to extremes to be successful, also Leo is brilliant) *The Handmaiden* (Maybe a strange choice but it’s great and the main characters are very cunning in a positive way this time, Parasite would also fit for Slytherin I think) *Veep* (This is also Slytherin gone to the extreme, where all the characters will literally do anything for their own gain, House of Cards could also fit but I’d rather recommend Julia Louis-Dreyfus over Kevin Spacey) *Better Call Saul* (Breaking Bad could also fit, but I feel like BCS goes even deeper in the cunning part, cuz James McGill comes up with very creative plans/solutions for his own gain)
I think that the cuts of the tops she wears in this video are super fitting. The turtleneck for Hufflepuff really captured the homespun and beautiful-because-it's-simplistic vibes they give me. The Ravenclaw top was the only patterned piece, which gave me thought out and complex. The checkerboard reminded me of chess and geometry, playing into the smarty-pants stereotype. The Slytherin top had a formal but comfortable look which could either be super effortless or purposeful. It's very ambiguous and subtle, like the house. Lastly, Gryffindor... I don't know. I felt like this one was pretty plain haha. The rolled up sleeves captured the lax energy a lot of Gryffindors have.
Ohh I think you could be a slytherin! I feel like you strive to be the best you can possibly be, at least what we can see on your channel. Aesthetically pleasing and such a variety of content, I like to think you're a slytherin!

you're such a hufflepuff if you ask me :) i knew it even before you started a very specific description of the house hahhah 😊 (a ravenclaw here, a curious soul, always guided by trying to understand and explore things (i am a bit afraid of watching the "get out" and "shutter island" though since they are often described as horror movies, i'm waayy too sensitive and freak out really fast - are they really counted as horror?))
i loved your picks! Since the first time i saw Kubo there was something that made it resonate with me so, so so much, and i couldn't quite put my finger on it. must be the gryffindor in me. Also, i looooove that you put dead poet's society as an honorable mention; it is not the movie you'd inmediately think of when you think of gryffindors, but it reaaaaaaly gives that vibe. specially the marauder's vibes.

all my best friends are slytherins and i’m a hufflepuff, so...
ohhh same here lmao
Same here lmaooooooo
Saaaaaaame😂😂
Same
Saaaaame!!! Ahahah
I feel like the paddington movies are hufflepuff movies
i feel like having people guess the house before the grand reveal is a VERY ravenclaw thing to do, lol (but i might be biased 😂) i love this!! and the imitation game is one of my favorite movies!!! i feel so represented right now lol
haha that's a good analysis! 🤔
ok so I'm French I'm a Hufflepuff and Amelie is my favourite movie of all times and I am beyond happy that you chose Amelie for us 💛
Actually, as we've seen with Snape or even (in a certain way) with Narcissa Malfoy, Slytherins are actually sensitive, passionate and often hurt
Agree again
I'm a Gryffindor and Dead Poet's Society is my favorite movie, damn
that's great movie!! i totally love it ❣️
I’m a Slytherin and it’s still my fave!!
Riiight
I'm a Gryffindor too! 💛
gryffindors unite!
I'm a raven girl, and the imitation game is my favv movie in my whole life
sameeee
It's too bad, because when you choosed the movies for slytherin, you really talked only about the flaws of this house :(
(But beyond that, I really liked your video, it was very interesting!)
Agreed
I feel like everyone catalogues Dead Poets Society as a Gryffindor film, but I've always thought of it as a Ravenclaw one. Anyone else?
I reaaaally love this! but as a ravenclaw, I think that "the dead poets society" could work for both, raven and gryffindor. I'm falling in love with the aesthetic of your videos, this is the kind of content that youtube deserves!!
AHHY YASSS Whisper of the Heart is my favourite Studio Ghibli movie. And i’m from Hufflepuff 💛
Me too !!
Owww do this with the MBTI types!!
Enjoyed this sooo much
Ravenclaw pride 💙
She’s a a Ravenclaw, she so is a Ravenclaw
I’m not a Hufflepuff, but I ADORE Whisper of the Heart! I think it’s my favorite Studio Ghibli film.
I also love Kubo! I’m a Gryffindor.
I just found your channel, and I spy with my little eyes the Army Bomb. I knew I’m making a right choice to be here lmaoo
I guess you in hufflepuff house just because you look sooooo friendly and I feel happy when watch this videooo.
Hufflepuff always spread a happiness!! ✨💛
hehehe maybe! 🤔💛
Yes stop motions!
I LOVE that I'm a Ravenclaw, it represents me and my motivations so well 😍💕
Also I think Sherlock would be a good series for Ravenclaw, as well a Prison Break because the characters are so clever and it's just fascinating to watch ☺️
Here's my picks
Slytherin: you killed it I don't even have to change a thing which is why I think your a slytherin
Huffepuff
Marie Antoinette ( Marie Antoinette her goal as an individual is to make the people around her happy and please and become dedicated to the throne and through her interactions in the film is to make sure everyone around her is happy but she become less happy because of that)
To all the boys I love before (Literally in the film series she is a hufflepuff and its movie is sweet and charming and shows Lara Jean becoming a better friend, establishing her work ethic and understanding true patience)
Meditation park ( A woman finally becoming independent through getting her first job and gaining a life outside of her home, sounds gryffindor but through this film it's charming and sweet view of a woman finally learning to become part of her community)
gryffindor:
Amelia (I feel Amelie isn't Hufflepuff, what motivate her actions is her goal to become a humanitarian. Even the people she work with can barely be called close friends)
The Book Thief (this is where Gryffindor and Ravenclaw cross, yes this book has a lot of literature and reading but it's usage is to become educated, empower the people to become stronger and help people in a crisis)
Fight club (A lot of philosophy but what make it an amazing film for a gryffindor is that it challenge again status quo and what it means to be independent and a strong person. It's really is a cautionary tale for Gryffindors
Ravenclaw:
Dead Poet Society (Yes, Keating change people minds but the reality for this movie it was about leaving behind the archaic mentality to become well rounded thinkers. The movie goal is to become scholars and not actually become braver)
Dr. Strange (I feel this is obvious)
Big Fish (endorses a strong imagination and the subtle references in the film are very literary base)
I screamed when you picked Atonement for Slytherin! As a Slytherin, its one of my favorite films🐍
As a proud Hufflepuff and a close Ravenclaw I love the choices you picked for both houses. I think you’re a ... Gryffindor!
I love your aesthetic!!!!
Amélie is literally THE Hufflepuff movie.
The way you analyze the signs: Ravenclaw
I changed my answer half way: your analytical but there also seem like there's a part of you who analyze these houses for competitive reasoning if that make sense and your movies you pick was more on point for this house.
I liked the Hufflepuff ones.💛
I liked the first one for Ravenclaw. I don't really want to watch the other 2.💙
I don't feel like I would want to watch any of the Slytherin ones.💚
I liked the last 2 ones for Gryffindor. I watched Kubo and didn't like it that much actually.❤
That was a beautiful video.😊
I’m gonna start watching the recommendation for Ravenclaw first this weekend because they sound like exactly my taste.🌙🌿🦋😃
I swear I'm right now at 0:53 so this is just a guess, I think you're a ravenclaw 🤔🦅💙, sorry if I'm wrong 😅
OMG! Tú diciendo "por qué está tan oscuro?!" Very lovely! I LOVE U!!!!! UwU great video
your videos genuinely make me so happy I can't explain it ---- its free serotonin literally
I’m a Hufflepuff and my favorite movie evere is Amélie! I also absolutely love The Last Black Man in San Francisco! You nailed it :)
i’m a slytherin and i’ve actually been meaning to watch the slytherin picks for a while now so i’d say this was pretty well done
This was so cool! I love Amelie and The Social Network might be my favourite film (in terms of how many times I've seen it it definitely is) and I'm either Hufflepuff or Slytherin, so I wholeheartedly agree with this list! :D
I always wanted to be in hufflepuff🧚♀️✨
In my opinion you get sorted in the hogwarts house, which represents the qualities you value highly even when they do not currently resemble you. So if hufflepuff really speaks to you the most, then you can consider yourself a hufflepuff😊
Btw I'm hufflepuff aswell❤😁
@@cookiedough4825 well true.. but if you resemble the opposite you can’t. I love Hufflepuffs with all my Slytherin heart and I value their qualities, but that won’t make me Hufflepuff, it just shows my admiration for those characteristics, maybe because I am bound to mine.
I pretty recently came across this channel and I must say that I think your videos are very sweet and entertaining, I’m definitely subscribing and a few movies and shows I’d recommend would be:
Gryffindor:
*Sing Street* (it’s a brilliant and inspiring film about following your dreams and not let anyone else decide who you’re gonna be)
*Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse* (Awesome film that is embracing the idea that anyone can be a hero)
*Hot Fuzz* (Hilarious film with courageous heroes going up against a corrupt system)
*Band of Brothers* (I couldn’t find that many tv shows but I mean the war obviously required bravery+ its brilliant)
Hufflepuff:
*Forrest Gump* (Has there ever been a character that is more Hufflepuff than Forrest?)
*Little Miss Sunshine* (Feel good, family, working hard for a dream, Hufflepuff)
*Parks and Rec* (Lovely show that really built up the characters as a big family+ Leslie is a perfect Hufflepuff)
*The Good Place* (Basically a show about being nicer to people, I think it fits)
Ravenclaw:
*Memento* (An awesome but challenging film that lets the audience try to piece the puzzle together, also other Nolan movies like Interstellar)
*Sorry To Bother You* (A very clever satire with a very unique premise and execution)
*Westworld* (Sometimes confusing, often brilliant it just feels like Ravenclaw)
Rick and Morty (I mean it’s very Ravenclaw right? Witty, clever and about a genius)
Ofc also Doctor Who for Ravenclaw but that seems to obvious
Slytherin:
*The Wolf of Wall Street* (A smart and cunning man that goes to extremes to be successful, also Leo is brilliant)
*The Handmaiden* (Maybe a strange choice but it’s great and the main characters are very cunning in a positive way this time, Parasite would also fit for Slytherin I think)
*Veep* (This is also Slytherin gone to the extreme, where all the characters will literally do anything for their own gain, House of Cards could also fit but I’d rather recommend Julia Louis-Dreyfus over Kevin Spacey)
*Better Call Saul* (Breaking Bad could also fit, but I feel like BCS goes even deeper in the cunning part, cuz James McGill comes up with very creative plans/solutions for his own gain)
SO GOOD TO SEE THE LAST BLACK MAN IN SAN FRANCISCO in a video omg I loved the movie. Anyways, the movies u picked for Ravenclaw are really good
You definitely are a HUFFLE PUFF!
I love this video and your channel! It’s so relaxing ✨
I believe you're a Hufflepuff. It's just your energy as a whole that kind of makes me think that and you seem really sweet, as well!
The perfect movie for each MBTI personality (?) 😯😯💫
I'm a Hufflepuff and your movie recommendations were perfect. I have always loved Amelie!
as a ravenclaw i definitely loved and enjoyed the movies you picked!!
As a Hufflepuff, yes to Amelie recommendation. It is a movie that holds a special room in my heart 💛
Haha 😆 I literally always do that Disney channel logo thing it’s so fun !!
I'm Hufflepuff and Amélie is one of my favourite movies :) I agree, it's a perfect fit for Hufflepuffs! gonna watch 'the last black man in San Francisco ', thx for the recommendation!
you're such a hufflepuff if you ask me :) i knew it even before you started a very specific description of the house hahhah 😊 (a ravenclaw here, a curious soul, always guided by trying to understand and explore things (i am a bit afraid of watching the "get out" and "shutter island" though since they are often described as horror movies, i'm waayy too sensitive and freak out really fast - are they really counted as horror?))
i loved your picks!
This will be great, You always have cool ideas for videos!
I’m a gryffindor and Edward Scissorhands is my favourite movie of all time. Thank you so much for picking it I’m so happy!!!
I’m a hufflepuff and whisper of the heart is my FAVOURITE movie
I feel like Memento is a great movie for my fellow Ravenclaws because it really is all about connecting dots and figuring out what's happening. I personally enjoyed it soooo much
Oh! I'm in Slytherin and the first two movies you've listed is one of my top fav movies of all time! This was a fun watch and actually very accurate! Love! P/s: You're a Gryffindor
imagine someone guessing that she’s a slytherin lmao
i am a scorpio tho so maybe? 🤔
@A little bit of Monika I’m a Scorpio too! What a coincidence
Although I don’t actually believe in zodiac signs 😂😅
I'm a ravenclaw and the movies you suggested are legit some of my all time favourites!
I think Midnight in Paris is also a good ravenclaw recommendation
I am not a Hufflepuff but Amelié and Whisper of the Heart are two of my fave films of all times. Like right there in the top 5. I love both the protagonists. They are such dreamers. I feel these movies are also attuned to ravenclaw because of the dreamer and imaginative aspects.
I feel like you’re a Ravenclaw tbh
I’m a Slytherin and most of my friends expected me to be a Hufflepuff
My girlfriend had an similar experience, she was thought to be griffindor, but that is just the outside to people who just don’t know you. If people REALLY know you, they would know
Omg yesss i love this, Monika! I think I need to rewatch Amelia- it’s been so long !
I am a Hufflepuff and my favourite movie of all time is Amélie Poulain ... (I just discovered your chanel and I absolutely love it!!) ^^
I just watched Kubo and the two strings and it was so, so beautiful. I bawled my eyes out, of course. Thank you Monika for the recommendation!
I think these are so accurate !!! Love your channel
thank you!! 💜
I truly feel identified with you
Pd: whisper of heart is one of my favorites.
im a hufflepuff:
i feel nice hha, and i do wanna make ppl happy,. but we arent rly - lets eat cake ooo,

we also like horror, but just not that it happen to ppl irl but in movies XD
I'm a proud hufflepuff and my favorite movie is Amelie. So I'd say it's accurate! ✨❤️
What a fun video idea! I loved your picks - especially Dead Poet's Society!
Can I add a few more for Ravenclaw?
-The Martian
-Knives Out
-The Theory of Everything
dead poet society just made me cry like a baby, it has changed my life alot, i just learned that i need to seize the day because life is too short, also i love the colours, the vibe and the whole idea of it, i think that everyone should watch it
I like to believe that the sorting hat would put me in Hufflepuff but at last minute decided for Ravenclaw, I relate a lot with both houses. And my favorite Ghibli movie (and maybe in general) is whisper of the heart but I also really like historical movies with scientific or academic background
(Ok so I'm not the only one who repeats a word several times when I'm not sure how to pronounce it correctly, reassuring 🙏)
My parents named me after the movie Amelie because they find it so beautiful and guess what my harry potter house is? HUFFLEPUFF
I have no idea what my house is but I like your taste in films, I'm going to watch some of these movies. Thanks for the recs!
I’m Ravenclaw and I really LOVED Shutter Island 👍🏻
i love this video. I can see the job behind this video. You are Huffelpuff. I am Ravenclaw.💙🦅
i think the movies u picked for ravenclaw are perfect! i’m ravenclaw and i love the imitation game! yet to watch the other movies but they sound like something i would love
I love Harry Potter specially you Monika ILYSM💚💛💙❤️
Potterhead reunion!
The colour palette in the movie amelie reminds me a lot of the colour palette of a series called pushing daisies, btw 10/10 would recommend 😊
Hi, I'm a new subscriber (INTJ here, lol). For slytherin Coppola's "Dracula" (Love never dies.).
She explains things so well !!!!! I also really want to watch shutter island I saw a movie 🎥 that’s actually very similar to it !!
the best thing about your recommendations is that i am hufflepuff and my favorite movies are both amélie and whisper of the heart 🥺 so, i will for sure check out the other movie, im probably gonna like it
I love these types of videos. Keep up the good work. ❤️
