6:28 Scarab of Stability is OP. Especially when you are not farming T17 with ease yet. The more chance to fully clear the map outweighs having another scarab.

I'm glad I found this video before trying my first T17, I got a little discouraged at first because abomination was the one that dropped and you said it's the worst one, lol. I rolled easy mods onto it, then used a scarab of bisection and ran it on my 3rd atlas tree I hadn't spent any points on yet. Made it super easy, no worse than a T16 with an extra healthy boss
I’m on a hexblaster aswell, 22m dps and 36k ehp, as mentioned in the video the map mods are the main thing that prevented me from completing my first T17
I would say like 70-80% of my deaths are just from trying to pick up loot rather than natural deaths. Its always a volatile core that I cant see coming from the effects, or a petrification statue that freezes me as offscreen mobs move into frame to kill me

For us, the in-depth topics would be things we cover mid-season, not near league start. We're also seeing a lot of conflicting feedback. For instance, another comment said PoE should remove T17 maps because they're too hard. And another would say that it isn't beginner friendly. We can't win.😂
Do you have more info on how to run those strongbox strategies on T17s? My build is very good versus strongboxes, and I cleared every T17 once with it (though bosses can take time), so it could be great fit.
Get nodes in atlas tree And spam strongboxes on map, there is nothing complex about it Get openable and more rare ambush scarabs and get as much as posible
i dispise tier 17 maps and i think its insane that you need one of them for a challenge. i keep dying, even after watching your video. But its a very informative video.
Just a tip, if making a video talking about boss mechanics, maybe turn off skill mtx. Couldn't see anything during those boss fights lol. Good video though.
We take the footage first, then build the video later once we have the full script written. Basically, this is normal gameplay, so the MTXs will always be on.

im at t3 atm edit: august 31 2024, im breezi nthru t16s now. havent tried t17s yet, i saw one that has mod that sends people to the void. im scared now.
i'm playing SSF, my trickster splitting steel was pretty well geared, i was like "time for t17 ez pz" yeah the mobs are easy but the boss is so tanky i need to atleast triple my dps cause the phases are too long, the shavrone fight there is too much stuff at the same time and i dont have enough dps to clear it. i love the fact we have t17 but man this is annoying
Wish I watched this before having the hubris to think my build was strong enough to stomp most content in the game. Yeah. I had volatile cores. Was almost to level 95, I'll let you guess what happened there. 😅 Rip 150c and hours of experience gain.
For what it's worth, they did some retuning between 3.24 and 3.25, and Abom definitely did not feel like the hardest back then. It wasn't the easiest, but Ziggurat and Sanctuary both feel significantly easier this league.

As a newish player with only 300 hours or so in game I don't even know what the mods do or how to reroll them properly which makes me not even want to try. I don't even know what my builds can or cannot do most times outside of simple mods. Just sucks like hell tbh. There is too much in the game that I never even see like anull orbs or veiled orbs, never even had one drop. And crafting is another thing completely that I just cant get my head around. Still love the game in general but hope POE 2 makes things a bit simpler.
fortress boss keeps pulling of some bullshit literally cast everything at once and I don't have any cast speed , aoe mods idk what to do tried 3 different maps spent over 300c already I'm just going to quit the game

Bosses is the hardest part of t17. Even with good builds you still get 1 shot by their skills shots very often

My build can crush all the T17 maps…but it has a hard time with mobility and the bosses literally crush me. Like Citadel is an impossible fight.

T17's can only be modified with Chisels, Deli Orbs, Chaos Orbs, and Vaal Orbs.
