- Join me for number 1 or 3 videos I filmed last week in Cyprus. As with all my videos I try and offer out lots of hints, tips & advice.

I see the bank has been fishing OK mate.
I went to Cyprus in June and July. Had around 8 hours of fishing from the shore around the Paphos, Coral Bay and St Georges area. Used lures and spinners, didn't even get a bite. Didn't even see any fish. Locals say the area is completely over fished by commercial boats and you just don't catch fish in that area.
It's really hard, no fish at all
The guys from KN helped me out with a load of gear when I went out to South Africa very trust worthy
Was booked to go to Cyprus earlier this year but unfortunately my heart attack stoped me hey ho

What a great video Wayne. Brought back so many memories of wonderful holidays of days gone by. Sadly for me those days are over but I can still fish my local beach, Milford shingle bank. Just waiting for the holiday makers to depart and kids go back to school. Tight lines in Norway.

looking forwaed to the next vid,, beards not good in the heat in cyprus lol i found this out, after six months the heat became normal, sat on the beach chrismas day with a beer and only a t shirt, no cod to catch so just diving and watching the small fish. but plenty of fish restarants in the napa end of the island, as always a great vid,, many thanks and looking forward to more..
Hey buddy I didn't notice the beard, fishing can be hard this time of year but picks up in the winter. I am going back in January. Hopefully catch some big girls

Lovely video m8 did wonder about fishing out there spent my summer holidays for about 10 years till 2019 and covid am down in Dorset this week just had a walk on Chesil at Abbotsbury it was awesome it’s a lovely garden down there👏👏

Great stuff Wayne. Been really looking forward to the Cyprus videos. It looked warm 🥵 Lovely scenery and good to see some youngsters out fishing. The underwater footage was cool too. Seriously this is scary, i searched shore fishing Cyprus because work was getting to much and booked a last minute trip and I’ve never fished there before. Subbed mate for the scariness lol.

Chesil is fishing hard at the moment. But you are correct, it's a species place
Stayed at RAF Akrotiri, wasn’t into fishing then but piloted rigid raider which would be an excellent fishing vessel haha

Trouble with the med it can be barren as everyone inc young girls and old lady's where fishing and taking absolutely everything home when I tried to fish in Malta but we walked away from the tourist spots and bang some strange black and yellow striped things were carefully landed (don't know if they poison to touch ) my misses wanted a go and she out fished me 10 -1 !🎣👍
It's upsetting that there isn't any fish in Cyprus. Well done in Malta mate

I've been fishing South Cyprus from childhood.
Around 25 yrs ago it was great. Unfortunately it's been so heavily fished by nets that it's now almost extinct of anything over 3 inch long. I have dived the entire southern stretch from protaras to pafos and its Unfortunately a very sorry sight. So sad how the Cypriots have little respect for sustainability regarding fish. To the point that locals on there rods even go as far as taking 2 inch imature fish home to eat.

Your looking rather toastey mate 😅 shore fishing is usually pretty poor as you can see snorkeling. Looking more at what you catch on the boat. Tight lines Wayne 😊

Thanks John, as you probably know my channel is about real fishing, I can assure you when I spend 6 hours editing I always enjoy it more when I catch. Please remember my channel is a hobby and not my job. I put 2 or 3 videos up a week and I probably blank only once or twice a month. I don't think that's a bad return.
