I was going to leave such a nice supportive message about how proud I was of you cleaning out the yard! And you came back with more stuff! I understand the desire....you were doing so well.
If it smells bad and runs bad.... the gas is bad. If it was last filled up less than 5 years ago, the ethanol content makes the gas go bad within months. I always put some fresh non ethanol gas in after a car is left sitting for months. It will run better with the rest of the fuel and after the tank is empty the next filllup it is quite a pleasant one. Some injector cleaner will also improve a lot.
I love those late 80s Civics, and can appreciate your gathering instinct! - I have a feeling that "One Piece at a Time" by Johnny Cash is a song on your faves list too! :D
Great car! I remember you also had a first generation CRV with a stick. I just bought a second generation CRV with a stick from 2005 and it’s currently my daily driver. I love it.
Seafoam straight into the injectors is your friend - I've had a few civic lessons over the years, and it's always good to have an ignitor in the glovebox..
It’s not that you have too much stuff , you just don’t have decent storage for them. They need to be protected from weather/sun/bird crap/ raccoons / mice etc
I so appreciate the fact that every single video opens with your shop dog, stella

Ha! Yes, still on plan. Don't worry.

Excellent!

I can’t believe how well that Civic fired up at first.
Me too. Didn't last long though...

Yup
Was gonna say the vw beetle you sold earlier would have possibly been a good idea for the project car Matrix..
Pull the fuel line off and use the fuel pump to empty the tank and then add some fresh gas and cleaner to the tank.
Good haul from the yard!!
Thanks 👍
that is a great little beige Honda, worth restoring!
I think so too!
That civic would be a perfect first car for someone
Maverick grabber 🤣
I have a 88 civic wagon ❤
Keep an eye out for the neighbor with the mustache,
I've never seen someone treat such garbage with such reverence.
Ha ! Yes, that would be 2stroketurbo
One mans garbage is another mans treasure...its all in the eye of the beholder... my humblest opinion
...I don't think the saying - "He who dies with the most toys, wins" applies in your case....does it?
🤪😁
You wanted a Subaru door?
I wonder how it is possible to have so many crappy cars
When you're a mechanic they will just appear
I wonder that myself....alot!
You don't need to be a mechanic to have a bunch of crappy cars
