There should be at least two more episodes: move without the ball and shooting form. His shooting form, IMHO, was the reason he can make the turn-around-shooting and all sorts of shooting after he rebalanced or got to another shooting position with only using pivot foot. Thank you for your hard work. I studied MJ's moves frame by frame basically like this for almost a year. And there was a point I realized, technically, MJ's moves can be further broken into modular sub-modules. Just like different forms of Lego bricks. I think we call them fundamentals. Based on those, MJ can combine the necessary parts together and find how to transform from one to another. They are just beautiful techniques. And based on what I learned, I started to discover the top players of the next one or two gens of player really tried very hard to learn from MJ, such as T-Mac and Nash.
And the crazy thing all scouts and the talk was that before He entered the draft, they all said he didn't have that good of a jump shot. They said if he developed a jump shot that he'd be a pretty good player. He far surpassed that because of his love, dedication, and desire to be the Best ..
Right on! MJ's shooting form, while also beautiful, was definitely a big factor in him being so versatile with his mid range jumper and fadeaways. In addition, you need great elevation to pull it off, which requires superb conditioning. This is crazy considering how many minutes MJ played, while also being one of the best defenders at his position, if not the best. Jordan's style was very demanding physically, and he managed to pull it off game after game.
This series U have created has cemented the GOAT debate for me. It is Jordan hands down. I genuinely believe there are at least 50 GOATS with MJ at the top of the Pyramid.

good analysis. but one thing missing about the jab step/juke fake. you mentioned that he threw his whole body weight into the jab to create huge defensive reaction from his defenders, it is because that's exactly how he drove pass his defenders with his first step. there isn't a single player since jordan retired that requires that much of instant respect and alert from his defenders simply because no one can drive pass the on ball defender as efficient and as quickly as jordan could. you don't bite for harden's first few moves because you know he could never get pass you in one dribble, same goes to lebron. the reason why jordan was so effective in these triple thread positions is that he never wasted a moment when he can get pass people easily with some stupid showy street ball style between the legs dribbles. jordan's successive between the leg dribbles usually served as a reset tool for him to find an angle to attack when his first option ( straight forward long lunge dribbles to either left or right) got blocked off. also, jordan's rip through (using your term) is particularly effective compared to other players because of his huge and strong hands. he had total control when he put the ball to the furtherest spot after palming the ball to form a air circle. not even guys with big hands like leonard have that decisiveness that jordan had in those sitations. but my point is that you see leonard doing the rip through a lot more effectively than guys like lebron, who has relatively small hands.
Pre baseball MJ wasted some energy, post baseball MJ was the ultimate distillation of peak MJ. MJ played a game within a game largely by himself. That's greatness
Don't try to put Jordan, Harden, and Lebron in the same category. Harden and Lebron have both led the league in assists something Jordan could never do lol
