I liked that he evaluated the vehicle based on what it is. It is a lower trim, low price, family vehicle. So often I see reviews compare the acceleration of a vehicle like this with a turbo or hybrid and complain that it isn’t as fast as those. And they will compare the features of a vehicle like this with a $45K vehicle. I’m subscribing to this channel. 👍
Very nice and honest review. Best value is often in the base model, especially if the mechanics are exactly the same throughout the range. First accessories to get would be leather covers to hide that bargain basement steering wheel and gear knob.
Saw the base trim at our local dealership and it is a plain Jane. We had initially wanted the touring trim but the limited trim would have pretty much everything we need without memory seats which isn't a big deal. The exterior profile reminds me a lot of the 2006 Forester so in that respect I wish they could have been a bit more creative.

@@mauritsvw I agree. However based on the Forester forum, some people are having issues with CVT. that would be the only argument against this vehicle
Especially with Subaru, their bases are loaded. My base Crosstrek has everything I need, waste of money going up the ladder.
@@TheNewMediaoftheDawn 👍 value proposition
Old-school guy here so basic is the best way to go. Simple equal easy life

Good job! It would be great to see you do a COMPARISON with Outback.

@@timandsuea.8846 I agree on the design. Trims wise, base can be a good option here in Florida
@@romansrides6647 At least the color is not boring. The gray, on the base model, makes it rather dull looking -- just grays and darker grays.
What's the soundtrack ?
