    Coming from a Prius, My vote goes to a 2024 Crown. Same price as the 2025 SE Camry , 31k but with all the features that raises the price for the Camry to 37 or 39k. The missing 7 mpg is the only downfall. I love the look of the Crown. The Camry photographs really well but honestly when I see them on the road, they look exactly like a 24 or 23 Camry.

    I test drove both Camry and Crown, Crown is definitely a better ride for me. New camry design looks aweful and it felt way more jumpy driving on bumpy roads. Crown Xle has bigger wheels and weights a ton more which makes the drive very smooth. Japan version has more customizations in terms of interior colors but all crowns are made in japan so the quality is exceptional.

    The Honda Civic LX is the most appropriate direct competitor to this and its 0-60 time is almost two seconds slower at 8.9 seconds. The Civic Hybrid is quicker but it’s also $29K+. Apples to apples, this stacks up very well against the Civic.

    I had a 2013 Camry XLE. Fantastic car (gave it to my brothe). Bought a Crown Signia XLE. More luxurious than a Camry and has more cargo room. No moonroof (hate them). Unfortunately no heads up display. Am very happy with my choice. Maybe a $4,000 (vs a new Camry xse) difference but well worth it.

    Great review Roman, essentially, the Tucson is a mini version of the Palisades which isn't a bad thing, her cousin Kia's about to remake the Sportage for the 2026 year, & from what I understand, it will take a lot of it's design elements from her bigger brother, the Sorrento. As a side note, I caught Raiti's Rides vid recently entitled "Is the 2025 Subaru Forester Sport a better AWD compact..."...That vehicle has really caught my eye, the exterior is bigger 7 more rugged than previous models. I saw one in person a couple of days ago & it reminded me of a mini Land Cruiser from 15 years ago. Granted, the Forester's not fancy like the Tuscon, yet it still holds it's own, definitely has come a long way since her humble beginnings of 15 years ago. The 2025 model is much more impressive, bigger & bolder, love the squared off front end. What I love about it the most is it's camping & off road capabilities. The negatives are it's CVT motor (we both aren't fans) lack of HP, poor gas mileage & more tech, would be welcomed, overall, the Forester has good bones to work with, I hope you could get around to reviewing it one of these days, Cheers!

I prefer a Physical Instrument Cluster, Buttons, Switches and Dials for controls. A Key and a Keyed Ignition is another Feature that I am looking for. The Absence of a Key is a step backwards in Security as far as I am concerned. I would like a Simpler Auto Design. Toyota is lacking customization options. For example you should be able to get a higher trim level without the panoramic roof and with 18" wheels instead of 19". Additionally, it would be nice to be able to get the JBL premium 9 speaker system on the SE trim.

      According to the Toyota build site you can order the Camry xse without the glass roof. It also allows you to upgrade the multimedia package on the SE to the 12.5' with the JBL. This was not the case for the 2024 and earlier.

    • @vash8654
      @vash8654 Місяць тому

      Unless something has changed recently, Toyota is a not a "building to order" manufacturer. Dealerships can submit a request, but Toyota usually doesn't follow through on those. Instead, they themselves determine what configurations are created based on sales metrics for different regions in the US. Once manufactured, larger Toyota dealership groups in their specified region get the first picks of the fleet of created vehicles, and then smaller dealerships get the scraps of what's left. A lot of Toyota dealerships run trades between each other for this reason, and the largest Toyota dealers are selling cars to the smaller dealers for small markups. This is why I find the build option on Toyota's website infuriating. There's no guarantee that the exact specification you want is available near you, and if you're dead-set on what you want, there's no clear pathway to have a model built entirely to your specification. I found out the above when purchasing a GR86. Unable to find a Trueno Blue Premium in 6MT anywhere locally, and was literally told by the GM an order wasn't going to ever happen, and to go across the street to Subaru because they do build to order.

    • @Offensively-normal
      @Offensively-normal Місяць тому

      @@vash8654You are correct. They just call it a build site. You pick out what you want on the car. And they will direct you to a dealership that has the closest match. My point was you could select a xse without a panoramic. And you can upgrade the SE multimedia and get the JBL.
