I know Milton from Mock the Week . That's where I first watched him . He's a bit hit and miss but I love him . He's kind of left field . His humour is almost child like. Crazy hair .
The play on the GrandFather jokes is how many times he says 'My Other GrandFather'. He is my favourite One Liner comedian & I will be seeing him live in January next year
@LADYRAEUK ... Amanda: For more Milton Jones - he was pretty good on Mock The Week. I'm sure there's plenty of UA-cam spots or compilations of his one-liners from that show. Watched a few recently, but have forgotten exactly where I saw them (not the usual channels, and they were wicked-funny compilations). The BBC UA-cam channel has Mock The Week as one of it's many playlists, and I think that there's a Mock The Week channel - if you're feeling like you need a giggle or two, I've always found that watching a few episodes, or just the "Scenes We'd Like To See" videos tend to cheer me up! Another great video - loved the giggle/snort at the beginning ... always a good sign you're having fun! Cheers from Australia 👍🦘🇦🇺
He has a lot of grandad jokes so he keeps adding them lol. He does a great joke about his ill grandad and just before he died they put lard or goose fat on his back, the punchline was "he went downhill very quickly after that"
The funniest joke told by Milton, is on Mock The Week, exam questions, where he quotes a long winded algabraic question and finishes with, "Hows your lucky pencil case now?"
I saw him live once when he was a last minute replacement for someone at a comedy evening. He didn't disappoint and was actually the best one of the four performers. I think the grandfather jokes were just the build-up to the punchline where he said he couldn't move for all of them. As others have said, for oneliners you need to check out Tim Vine. Milton's probably best known for being on Mock The Week, which sadly has been cancelled.
I love Milton Jones! He reminds me a little of Emo Philips; both of whom's comedy is borne out of the illusion that they do not know what they are doing, but that is simply the act they play. Both Milton and Emo are extremely intelligent and damn funny comedians. The "sell fish" was the best. The "lol" name was dark but funny. If you follow the grandad dialog, you will quickly notice he mentions more than 2 which is highly unlikely if not impossible and that is a running joke in his act; although I am not sure he uses it every time, but he does use it a lot.
Hi. The Grandfather thing comes from the fact that you can only really ever have just 2 (Your Mum and Dads, Dad's). So you will hear the laugh increase at the 3rd grandfather and then every other time x
Tim Vine is the only one liner that I could watch a whole show of. He uses loads of props in his routine and messes around instead of just standing there delivering jokes.
I've been to your UA-cam channel a handful or so times and hadn't noticed that you are Lady Rae. On seeing that, I started singing 'Cinderella Rockafella' I can be weird at times.
He is a one liner comedian. Very off the wall comments, but all the funnier when you work them out. I think the grandad thing was for this sketch, and clever in how it was put across
In the first half of the last Milton Jones Show that I attended, he played the part of his (one of many) granddad. He then donned one of his many brightly coloured shirts (As Milton) for the second part. In fairness with a name like Milton, your jokes just have to be clean! - Note: Milton is a liquid cleaner often used for baby bottle cleansing.
Think this was a shorter version because he had a lot more of my other grandfather one liners but still a good one to react to and yes that's mainly what he does is one liners like Tim vine but I'm sure you done him Great reaction Amanda
He was very good, and clean, but there has been a few one liner specialists like Stewart Francis the Canadian comedian, Tim Vine, and then cruder one liners like Gary Delaney and Jimmy Carr so it's quite crowded!
It was great to hear a big snort at the start and another very close to the end. It could be dangerous for you if you are anywhere near a line of cocaine 🤣. Keep on snorting Mrs Rae, I love it 👍😉.
I prefer Tim Vine as the real King of One Liners...but Milton is the prince in waiting for the title... The last King of One Liners was Henny Youngman (born in East London)...
You have to watch one of his own shows though instead of a guest appearance like in Live At The Apollo and such. He uses loads of props and messes around a lot on stage!
He is an absurdist, in that he presents a world view that is not logical but which allows him to deliver punchlines that would not work otherwise. The physical appearance leans into this. Much of his comedy uses wordplay, also.
Love Milton Jones. Good clean fun, with weird tangents and surreal punning!
I had the privilege to watch him live at Reading Festival back in 2014… he does not disappoint!
And yeah he always has a story about his grandads during his tours
The man is a genius of comedy. I lived down the road from him about 15 years ago, really down to earth bloke and drove a vw camper van.
Ah I love hearing that 🙏
Epic. Going to see him in his live 'HA!-Milton' show next month.
Ah amazing!

Ah that’s brilliant! I bet he’s great live
@@LADYRAEUKthe play on grandfather is you generally just have the two.
The great thing about you Rae, is I can always tell which jokes are the best by your snort! 😂

I used to love watching him on Mock the Week, so funny
I know you work out lots, but I love how your lighting shows your muscles flex when you move.
thank you :)

Milton is definitely one of the best
🙌🙌
Milton reached his peak with "anyone can cook this - you can't, Beatrice!....... Oh, sorry, you can't beat rice!"
Hi Amanda I don’t think I’ve seen any of his material before but was very funny great choice
☺️🙌🙌
The funniest joke told by Milton, is on Mock The Week, exam questions, where he quotes a long winded algabraic question and finishes with, "Hows your lucky pencil case now?"
Yeah that's a great joke....how he ad libbed that whole equation was brilliant
I saw him live, it was a lot of fun.
This is outstanding. I might get a ticket to see his HA-Milton tour next year 😅
That’d be cool!

I saw him live in Southampton supported by a very early James Acaster. Was the second best comedy gig I've ever seen

Emo lol
Oh my Amanda I think that you’re gorgeous and your partner is one lucky person.
thansk so much !

Lee Mack & Tim Vine are also very good at doing many short jokes.
It’s so good ☺️👋🏻

Cant wait going to see him in Edinburgh in November 😊
I bet! !
I've been to your UA-cam channel a handful or so times and hadn't noticed that you are Lady Rae.

I can be weird at times.
Haha we are all weird ☺️
Stephen Wright is the American king of the one-liners
I’ll look him up ☺️☺️
@@LADYRAEUK Agreed. Example - “I met a man with wooden legs, but real feet”.
Another great reaction Amanda l,ove it Anthony gibbs from south West London England ❤
One of his grandads said to him... Son when I was younger you could always leave your doors open.... Which is probably why my submarine sank
Can we just acknowledge the extraordinary beauty of Amanda …. Phew !
Thank you
Great one liners Amanda., corny but very funny. 😄😄
Haha I agree!
He is a one liner comedian. Very off the wall comments, but all the funnier when you work them out. I think the grandad thing was for this sketch, and clever in how it was put across
I thought it was great 🤣
he does the grandad jokes a lot, the joke is how many he has, most people only have 2
I'm amazed he remembers them all, bang, bang, bang one after the other. Funny guy.
Haha I know!
Milton's sense of humour reminds me of Terry Pratchet and Douglas Adams where they take common phrases and sayings literally to comic effect.
In the first half of the last Milton Jones Show that I attended, he played the part of his (one of many) granddad. He then donned one of his many brightly coloured shirts (As Milton) for the second part. Looking gorgeous
I'm thinking about getting a tattoo, which one do think would suit me? I'm thinking the Edinburgh! Wish you all the best....
If it hadn't been for people like my grandfather we'd all be speaking German.......he killed 7 language teachers before the police finally caught him.
Milton is a strange unique individual, is crazy funny :)
I love Milton Jones
Love your channel, Amanda, you’re very pretty too.
Thank you so much☺️🙏
LOL! Cheesy Jokes are the best.

Watch some of his Mock the week one liner compilations - you'll be hooked !!
I’ll check it out ☺️
Suggestion: Have a look at Sir Les Paterson (Barry Humphries) being interviewed by Michael Parkinson. All the best.
Your beautiful thx for sharing ❤
dads everywhere making notes lol
This guy is brilliant! 😂
🤣🙌
Gosh he looks young in this...mind you it turns up on Dave every month
You distract me hahaha ;)
Lol
Lady Rae. You shoud try doing stand up comedy. ❤
Try watching Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseau (I never could spell).
LOVe watching you laugh
The first joke made you Snort 🤣
🤣☺️

Hahaha 🤣🤣 dangerous indeed
Always one liners
Eyes left gentlemen!!😂
What about us women? Can WE look? 😃
My Scout leader's name was actually Lol.
You have the best laugh! (Chortle)😊 Have you done Steven Wright? Very dry..
Haha thanks! And not yet, I’ll have to look him up
Grandfather lines - he keeps saying 'my other grandfather'. I mean, how many grandads can you have?!
your so fit fair play
Not even that many comments yet but half of them are creepy :o
Apparently there is in fact approximately twelve people in the world named Lol! Hahahaha! XD

If the rumours are true, Bono from U2 invests his money in an Edge fund... 🎶🎸🧀
Lol Creme , I believe ?? Of 10 cc. That's the only Lol I have heard of .
Lol Tolhurst from The Cure is another.
I've only seen him on 'mock the week', he does similar comedy on there, I don't think I could watch a whole 20 minutes though 5 was good.
Ahh yeah, that’s fair enough ☺️
He crazy 🐻 not as crazy as you dad 🤠😮
Lol

lol why
