Painting laminate furniture to last forever: THE RIGHT WAY to Prep

I've seen some ridiculous videos on painting laminate furniture that only set people up for failure, such as "...paint laminate furniture, no sanding", basically piling a ton of primer. That paint job is guaranteed to fail. I'm going to show you how you SHOULD be prepping for paint if you really want that paint job to last. If you're painting Ikea furniture or in fact, anything at all, the steps to prep for paint is universal.

I have a question about a LG air conditioner I’m trying to replace the plug I disconnected the old one but I forgot where to connect the hot wire and the neutral wire does the hot wire connect to the black box ?

I made the mistake of using a water based primer on a laminate table I am trying to repaint, I sanded it before hand. Do you recommend to strip the primer and do the step again with an oil based primer? I have no started the actual paint process yet. Thank you in advance
