Agree...i can't stand how most people these days sing every cover like Beyonce singing the Star Spangled Banner.
i also how she doesn't over-sing. Too many young women over-sing to the point that they're caterwauling. I've never been a big Cure fan, but she brings out the beauty in this song.

I've always loved that percussive thumb slap when it's blended perfectly with fingerpicking, and you do it so well, it lead me down a rabbit hole of guitar how to videos and my playings really improved over the last several months. That's absolutely fantastic! I'm a Cure-Fan since my early youth. I'd tears in my eyes. Today is Robert's birthday so I looked for cover versions cause I want to play one and post it on Facebook. Though I'll never reach such a polished playing like yours. Thank you for this great cover. Many greetings from Germany.

I think he brings out the best in them. He knows what song would work best with their voice. Love his arraignments. I listened to one of his singers on their channel. They were much better on Josh’s channel. Like they say on the TV voice competitions: you have to pick the right song and know who you are as an artist. He knows!
Been a fan of The Cure for over 30 years & seen them live headlining Glastonbury on three occasions & can honestly say this is a superb cover, top work guys..👍

Insane playing Josh! I like the “live” sound you were able to engender right before she sings in the second stanza. Excellent production quality, too. The microphone lighting clothes room setting volume level everything is so polished. It can’t get better than this.

I've been a little obsessive since coming across young Turner a week or so ago. The first tune that grabbed me was Martha My Dear (well worth checking out), but now my ears are glued to this tune. Where is continuous play when you need it? I've got to buy the Larkin/Turner album anyway. Talent like this has to be supported.

It’s also so you have a real “zero” fret. Brian May’s guitar was purposely built this way. The intention being the open strings sound more similar to the fretted strings.
