Thank you. Do try our konkani recipes. They're delicious and also very healthy. We used raw rice here popularly known as dosa rice.

We put lil turmeric in it
And we add coconut too, poha we soak in buttermilk n rice with methi in water

Without jaggary can we make it?
No...jaggery is the heart of this recipe....it will taste blank ..do add it n cardomom pods while grinding tastes best for morning breakfast.
We make both, with jaggary and without. For one without, we add just a wee bit of jaggery, regular amount of salt, chopped green chillies and finely chopped ginger. A bit of jaggery is to aid fermentation.

For aiding fermentation as well. We make non-sweet version of the same as well. But we do add a bit of gud to aid fermentation.
