as a telugu ammai, i'm extremely proud of the kind of work that Tollywood / The Telugu Film Fraternity is doing now
In my opinion, always has been and was always at the top, just lack of internet, language translations probably did not garner as hige an audience as it does now,but it was and will forever always be huge, also even in those times- there was a VERY huge fanbase for some actors like chiranjeevi, nag across the country. and then came the era of dubbed, on youtube this that and all that- and i'm glad at least it introduced people to our heroes and heroines. the overlap between the fraternities has always been there- eg: most of bollywood's biggest heroines at the time were telugu.
BUt in the localised level things were obviously different because bollywood productions denied dubbing rights to movies. Now the turntables, i mean i get that some of you are bollywood fanatics- but some of US are TOLLYWOOD fanatics, and none superior than the other. the only difference WAS the reach, which now is evidently the opposite, do i think it is fair for people to say shit like bollywood sucks or whatever because they genuinely see better content from here.
Once a tollywood fan - always a tollywood fan. peace.

as a telugu ammai, i'm extremely proud of the kind of work that Tollywood / The Telugu Film Fraternity is doing now
In my opinion, always has been and was always at the top, just lack of media, language translations probably did not garner a huger audience, but even in those times- there was a VERY huge fanbase for some actors like chiranjeevi, nag across the country. and then cam ethe era of dubbed, on youtube this that and all that- and im glad atleast it introduced people to our heroes and heroines. the overlap between the fraternities has always been there- eg: most of bollywood's biggest heroines at the time were telugu.
Once a tollywood fan - always a tollywood fan. peace.

You are being too critical for a movie of such a stature. I saw your review of Shershah and my god you were praising it's trailer and the movie so much that it was a masterpiece. With due respect you are being biased towards some movies which provide you PR capital. Shershah was of Dharma, kgf had Spice PR. Its sad to see you like this. I know views are subjective but I have seen you many times promoting the movies which lack quality just for having money in your pockets. I've got to say, unlike masand or sucharita tyagi, your reviews don't seem like a film critic is talking down to us mortals and blessing us with their reviews on films..
on the contrary,it always seems like a friend in my circle who's into movies, is giving me his take on the movie, making it more relatable. So it becomes easier for me to judge if a movie is worth watching or not. I've added Major to the list now.
