Whenever i see mrunal thakur, i feel she was so damn right about leaving kumkum bhagya. Though it took her time and i still won't say that she is super famous right now but slowly she is getting the recognition she deserves than being a mere side character of a ekta kapoor serial which never ends. She is getting better day by day and soon there will be a day that she will be famous for her acting.
Aaahhh now u said it. That's why I always feel like I've seen Mrunal in small screen somewhere but never really bothered
I became her fan from Super 30 itself...
She had a small role but a perfect one in Super 30.
The real ones know her from "Arjun" on Star Plus

Watched this movie twice in theatre. Haven’t seen my family cry over a movie since Roja. The visuals, the direction, the beautiful music and the absolutely stellar performances by DQ and Mrunal were a great treat. Do not miss this in the theatres
I have had many sobbing experiences since Roja tho! Some of them include Veer Zaara, KHNH, Premam, 96, I think the list goes on. But I understand how your family experience may have been deeply personal. Sita Ramam is a lovely addition to the list!
@@TriedRefusedProductions the 96 ending 🥲
@@TriedRefusedProductions you have a sobbing experience in premam.. but in reality.. keralite enjoyed this like a festival 😍 and that college scene influenced ever college students in that period.. everyone wear black shirt in Onam..

@@TriedRefusedProductions 96 was the best . Also Jersey ending was a cry fest in recent time even though not a romantic movie but the ending hit me so hard .
The good thing about hiring DQ is that irrespective of the industry he is just a local boy for them.
He got a kind of charm that makes anybody his fan, it is a plus point that he is a cool and genuine guy.
Ngl when Ram said to Vishnu at the end scene "I am not an orphan " tears dropped down from my eyes instantly. It was so heart wrenching scene and the moment when Sita reads the letter, and Ram beside her in the bathtub bid adieu to her. DAMN, that scene just broke me down. What a bone-chilling movie this was. The first half was not that engaging, but boy oh boy, 2nd half, especially the last 30 min will shiver you down. One of the best movies of this year.
Same feeling here. Mrunal thakur's character was like a dream. I felt this sorta character and acting is what radhe shyam lacked
Acting Bro Acting...Mrunal is far better actress than Pooja..tbh..(we have seen Mrunal's acting in daily soaps since many years..The 2000s were great with these talents being bumpy teens on Television)
Radhe shyam struggled because of the story ... how're you going to root for the characters who don't even have enough interactions in the film ?
Problem with Telugu industry is big stars movies often get huge hype and it gets dubbed and released in theaters and Tv and people watch them and judge the whole industry, but movies like these don't make huge noise and are sidelined, there are lot of good small movies in telugu which are not known to others
yup thats the way sadly the cookie crumbles
It's because of the so called “internet cinephiles” they show Intrest in roasting mass masala movies & when a classic arthouse movie actually releases in theatre, they act like they just don't live in this world anymore 🤦🤷
And also the thing is atleast mass masala movie fans are genuine towards their favourite content and watch them in cinemas, whereas these cinephiles who love content oriented movies only wait for the film to be flopped in Theatres and come to OTT, so that they could rant on social media.
@@dineshbabu5209 correct. Content lovers wait for ott mostly

DQ and Nani have a unique charm about them. They have the ability to encapsulate you in a beautifully written love story.
There is something about them which makes them impossible to hate.
@@space_monkey5662 Oh absolutely. No fake machismo, no six-pack abs, no creepy dialogues. Just pure character, charm, and charisma.
Then can I say something I hate Nani I don't know why
You're right about Nani
@@sarthakpatnaik714 Can you tell what is fake machismo? And what's wrong with six-pack abs in a pure action movie? If a romantic/love story has unnecessary showing of body features, then that's wrong representation for that genre.
Prabhas and Rana had chiseled bodies for playing Bahubali series, Ramcharan and Jr.NTR have transformed themselves into model like bodies for RRR. Is that fake machismo or the stories demanded such representation from them?
Ever since mahanati introduced DQ to the telugu audience, everyone had been eagerly awaiting his next telugu film. And boy did he deliver !

A lot happened in Tollywood in past one month..
Few big budget movies released and failed miserably at box office.. like Warrior, Rama Rao on Duty, Pakka Commercial.. which are all formulaic brainless commercial shits.. which are outright rejected by audience.. all these movies are by top producers in Tollywood and they kind of felt angry towards Audience and halted all shootings starting August.. as if they were blackmailing audience..
Then came Bimbisara and Sitaramam..
People flocked to theatres.. now everyone in Industry realized.. it's the content that speaks now.. not formulaic commercial mess without content..

No kisses .no intimate scenes and no vulgarity still love can be expressed ! Someone go and teach this to Bollywood!
Kissing is not wrong but yes, it is wholesome and absolutely romantic.
Problem is when there's no emotional connect between the characters and the audience a kiss can never be impactful and beautiful.. unless the director is able to make the conviction ok there's no way people will not think it as vulgar thing..
Even when I watch some Korean dramas their kisses don't feel forceful or abrupt or lusty..instead makes us fall in love with their love

Kissing is not vulgar man!
Whenever Dulquer Salmaan comes to Telugu, it will surely make biggest blockbuster.

This movie proves that you don’t need 300 crore to make a romantic movie this is radhe Shyam makers biggest mistake this movie is what radhe Shyam should have been
Today is my birthday. I watched this movie few hours back. It made my day even more special. This film has a pure soul. I felt very happy after watching it. Everybody is so good. Mrunal stole my heart. DQ taught me how to be a ideal man. Rashmika personality inspired me on how to be very courageous.
Movie is a must watch.
I don’t remember when it happened but somewhere and at some point in time, I stopped believing in love stories. It so happened that once the idea of true love went missing in my heart, I started to drift away and got lost in the market of cheap entertainment, it was instant gratifications that robbed me of the opportunities of waiting with dignity for real love.
Words came easy to me once when describing any piece of art, literature, or music that moved me. I used to find my innocence when I found stories that were so beautifully unreal that they seemed divine. But lately, love stories appeared cornier and cornier and the stories became so predictable that even if I watch a love story (which I generally avoid), it fails to move me.
Today, after watching the late-night show of Sita-Ramam, I feel I have found that old believer in me. I am glad he is still there, believing in the idea of magical love.
This film was so complete in experience that it will remain with me. Sita-Ramam is a modern-day classic and in the present tinder age, it has rekindled a hope in me that it is okay to be lost as long as you have the strength to find yourself again and again. These films sure help you by nudging you in the right direction.
It is okay to make mistakes, but don’t belittle yourself, don’t trade your innocence, your purity, and your divinity for instant gratification. Let emotions pass through you, and have the courage to accept the emotions in their raw form. Don’t redefine them by processing them and re-branding them. Find those moments which help you in retaining your belief in the divine working of the macrocosm.
Sita-Ramam is just another plain love story, but it speaks beyond the well-crafted frames and eye-catching scenes. It is yet another passionate film-making where everyone involved believed in the art they were creating and I’m glad I witnessed the magic on the big screen.
It's one of the most sensible comments that I had read so far
Well written....I guess our fast paced lifestyle just doesn't have the patience for slow gentle love.... where love is reduced to ONS in this tinder age... movies like these remind us what we are capable of... even if this comes from the imaginary realm of cinema 🤍
We are blessed to see films like '96, Hrudayam and Sita Ramam in this mad world.
I'm a sucker for romance, and after hearing this i must have to see this one
Oh..you should! Its indeed a treat!
Bro, he is not Samanth, he is Sumanth, he nailed the character especially towards the end
noted!
@@TriedRefusedProductions ...try "malli rava" from Sumanth. Which is also a love story !!!
@@mulanikhil6634 man sumanth has best films like godavari, Golconda high school.
@@TriedRefusedProductions Watch sumanth's godavari. One of the best new age films made in Telugu
@@TriedRefusedProductions You should check his "Godavari" and "Malli Rava"
This movie is an absolute treat for the eyes. Stunning visuals and screenplay.
This was a very important release for TFI because many recent films have failed to grab the audience's attention and bring them to the big screen. The kind of response will resonate with more creators to work on their scripts and story rather than glorifying the hero and hope more content-driven films will come in the future #contentisking
Sadly however, its still very small numbers. I fear most creators will still cater to making big cinema films in the action genre and limit romance to OTT or small budget films. The case of eternal love stories is attracting only a section of the audience
@@TriedRefusedProductions bruhh!!! The collections and reach for this movie is being kept on increasing with each passing day. Day 1
@@dineshbabu5209 the numbers are still very low Dinesh. The lifetime collections still will be decent, its not tough to admit the genre does not lend to massive numbers
@@TriedRefusedProductions well audience don't always want to be in love romance bubble. Movies are seen mostly for entertainment especially telugu.
Already 90's kids expectations were set wrong by bollywood romance, and even sitaramam is an old school romance which isn't possible now, so better to watch love stories once in a time. Entertainment and action films cones to our rescue for singles 😂
@@TriedRefusedProductions well, these kind of movies might not spin 100's of crores at the Box Office like action films usually does, but atleast they are getting their due credit from the theatre goers right. I feel that this might get even better in future hopefully 🤞
This movie gave me nostalgic about Roja and Veer Zaara. Dulquer and Mrunal were ❤️ An absolute delight to watch in theatre!
In the era where we don't feel anything for a steaming kiss... I promise people's heart felt warm and went Awwww for just a touch between them where the Ram's world just stops when he touches her.... There are so many scenes like this in the film
And it was a fineeeeeeeeee film I ever watched
I cried like a kid. Literally sobbed in last 15 minutes. Truly a Masterpiece ❤❤
Me too. Me too. Could not stop crying
Unpopular opinion - I actually liked the first half ..it created an amazing build up for me ..I was even more curious to find out about Sita and ram because of the whole narrative.. ❤️and when they appeared together everyone who watched knows what happened ❤️
Same bro
I liked first half more
Sooo happy and relieved to find a positive review for this movie ♥️ Can't win for it to come on OTT. Dulquer ♥️♥️♥️
Music is mind blowing and naturally blends with the scenarios in the movie, adds up to the emotions. The singers are outstanding.
Watched this movie yesterday, and the climax had me in tears, if any movie touched me so much after 96 is this movie. Sita Ramam is going to remain with me forever.❤
Mrunal gonna be superstar of Indian Cinema. She is way better than some arrogant self acclaimed Superstar.
There are very few movies that leave a long lasting impact or stay along with you even after u leave the theaters this is one of them. You are drawn into ram seeta universe and the beautiful story that the movie builds, the twists that you see all so well woven into the story and makes you keep guessing till the end.
Great movie ! A must watch!
3 weeks in and the theatres are still full. Epic movie. Hanu has made excellent love stories so far but always fell short of catching the eye of everybody, this one is definetely his best.
Went on sunday 2 days back. The theater was full in kerala
It's 4th week and theater was 75% full in karnataka...excellent movie
I have a question, after watching Radhe Shyam it made me wonder and think about this. Can a romantic movie be marketed as a Pan-India movie and also do you guys think it should be a big budget extravaganza ???
I don't think it can be marketed as a pan indian film. Even a film like this is only attracting a small audience. Romance in this case I feel caters to a section of the audience and not the masses.
@@TriedRefusedProductions does only mass movies be termed as Pan India?! I feel that even romantic movies will fit the category. In Hollywood as well, we have many romcoms as blockbusters. It means that the entire world can watch it
@@TriedRefusedProductions And that is why Titanic was the biggest hit of all time back then?
@@darkphoenix6742 Titanic had a tragic ending. Tragedies can easily attract massive Audience. Legendary Romeo Juliet also comes to mind.....
They offer something fresh from a usual happy ending.
@@pkumarnyc Any movie can be termed as Pan India if it is marketed that way, regardless of the genre. Pan Indian movies for now need to have a hindi version to avoid the language barrier, which not an issue for Hollywood where it's just plain english that most of the world understand.
Masterpiece from telugu Film industry 🔥and bimbisara is also amazing theatrical experience tfi is back ❤️✊and waiting for karthikeya 2 aug 13 ✨
Bimbisara ke over hype istunaru antha emi ledu, sita ramam me hit ayindi
@@chavaajay3078 just because people are going to bimbisara that doesnt make it good . It's an average masala fantasy film , if u remove those time travel concept it's cringe masala crap that's it
The music in this film is absolutely beautiful! They have some kind of a retro feel to it.
I'm so glad we are finally heading towards a truly inclusive INDIAN cinema, with stalwarts hitherto relegated to the pejorative "regional industry" amassing adulation from across the subcontinent.
I am very satisfied after Watching this in the theatre.. It just melted my heart..i was in tears last half an hour. Had I Missed, I would have regretted it for a lifetime..
Is this movie available in Hindi language in theatres or not?
Dude this movie restored my faith in love stories, story telling, love in general
After so long heard people say they went to theatre more than once genuinely... not because they are fans of actors but just to watch this movie again. that too in this OTT era. That's a big record than any of those high budget movies.
Jammy, please add points regarding beautiful music and soothing lyrics of this movie. Kudos to Vishal Chandrasekhar
My mom asked me to watch this movie and I’m absolutely amazed. As rightly pointed in the video, DQ & Mrunal together on the screen just looked magical. Can’t be more proud of the fact that we the telugu audience are shifting the landscape of telugu cinema and rightly got the love it deserved.
I don't remember when I cried this much..
I didn't sleep whole night thinking of our sholdiers and the ppl who go through similar situations.
DQ. Salman & Mrunal both are Immortal now as Sita Ramam💟
I want to appreciate for the story writers. They did it very well by taking mythological reference and also made good humour. It's very incredible art.
For dialogues and music is the soul of the movie.
Pure love story!
All the cast and crew has done a phenomenal job.
The scenes between the lead pair is a joy to watch on the big screen.
My heart was wanting more of such scenes.
The way the director maintained the suspense with his great screenplay made it so engaging. The music by vishal chandrashekhar and the dubbing by chinmayi has contributed much to the beautiful experience while watching it in theatres.
The way the director used the colors and the butterflies references were commendable.
One will definitely regret in life if you missed it on big screens.
What a heartfelt & a poetic movie ❤️
Love stories are never boring
Be it 96 or Premam or even Shyam Singha Roy
All of them are like beautiful poems❤️
Premam is a boring and overrated

And Premam is also a good film
I liked present time love story more in Shyam Singha Roy. Nani and Krithi's chemistry too good. I was disappointed they didn't give an ending to their story.
I saw the movie yesterday and loved it🥰... Not sure how it was in other languages. But in telugu the 1st half was also hilarious😂😂 tarun bhaskar has a brilliant sense of humor 😝😝😝
one of my malayali friends told me that the malayali dub isn't that great
Is this movie available in Hindi language in theatres or not??
I can't get over this movie. The beautiful songs, the story, the bgm, the actors and their expressions (omg I am love with Dulqar's smile), everything about this movie is just unforgettable.
I am not a fan of love stories/movies. But this movie was just outstanding and how the director handled such touchy issues. The climax was an absolute tear jearker
Just watched it yesterday with fam nd oh god the bliss in seeing an anti- filmy grp cry over a movie >>>>>
Honestly tho, Go for it y'all it's a beautiful movie nd will leave you satisfied ✌🏻
Half knowledge People who say Tollywood is making only heroism kind of movies should also watch these kind of movies. Also there is a mystery Adventure movie called Karthikeya 2 coming next week, it is related to shree krishna. Even Movies Like Ante Sundaraniki, DJ Tillu, pelli choopulu, Awe tells the varied content of this industry.
Mostly the so called superstar movies are trash in Telugu industry and others are good 👍
@@user-gp4nz8yu3m I agree with you
@@user-gp4nz8yu3m agree, earlier I used to be big fan of both Mahesh Babu & Pawan Kalyan, now it's just irking to watch their films anywhere. At present, Only Rajamouli has mastered the skill of making commercial films relevant to current generation. Other's should just go with content oriented movies.
@@dineshbabu5209 Yes of course 👍
Yeah non Telugu audience watch only the masala content from Telugu and label us as masala lovers. It's deliberate by the way.
Thank you so much for reviewing this film. I have been requesting you in comments from a couple of your recent uploads. I suggest to review hanu sirs previous works as well.
After Veer Zaara this is maybe the first time I have cried so much after watching a romantic movie..... ❤️❤️
By the way Jammy beautifully quoted in the beginning...let me add..."here is a Bengali listening to a Kashmiri singing praise of a Telugu movie consisting of a malayali hero, Marathi heroine and a supporting star , Bengali star and talented actors from everywhere."❤️🙂
Sometimes some small sentences can bring joy and happiness...thank you Jammy. We are diverse but United in a beautiful way. 🇮🇳❤️🙂
This was a perfect cast.. They acted so bloody well. And since they didn't cast the hero from telugu industry, there would have been a lot of hero worship.. They could avoid it. And casting from different industry also grabs more audience
Cinema doesn't have language barriers.. That's the magic happened.. lead cast aren't from Telugu background.. still nailed like anything leaving native actors in surprise..
Telugu Industry will always delivers best love stories🔥🔥
Happy to see a actress basically from Maharashtra playing a lead role in bollywood as well as south indian movies . Otherwise we have seen talented Marathi actors playing very small or side role or as a servant or maid in bollywood films .
Mrunal is carrying the legacy of
Nutan , Tanuja , Smita Patil , Radhika Apte .....
mrunal is my favourite since i used to watch of scenes as bulbul in serial...she has a lot more capability as an actor..i really want her to be top and at the same time commendable actress
So glad for Mrunal ❤️ she deserves the recognition ❤️❤️❤️
Just finished watching this movie, absolutely amazed, got tears in my eyes (getting teary eyed after a really long time) watching this spectacle, Mrunal was undoubtedly a treat to watch, couldn't take off my eyes from her, so much so that at times I missed the subtitles watching her and had to rewind to read
If you want to watch the best love stories of telugu, then you must watch Shekhar kammula's Anand, godavari. These two movies are classic in telugu. 👍👍❤️❤️ And also Sammohanam.
I am recommending these movies for a long time, but he always ignored 😔
Love all your reviews Jammyy:)
Just that you said that the film involves leads who are Maharashtrian and Malayalam.. it's not Malayalam.. it's Malayali😊
