With the ghost of Samuel I was taught there are only two beings you can talk to God or Satan. God said do not consort with mediums so it was Satan. Also when the rich man said let me go to my family and let them know not to come here (Hell) and God said they have my word and my word is good enough (paraphrase). Proof that family members don't come back.
To answer the question of the Ghost of Samuel. Remember the enemy can disguise himself as an angel of light, a wolf in sheep's clothing. So if a medium called on Samuel, that wasn't actually Samuel, it was spirit disguised as Samuel. Which is why in 1 Samuel 28: 19 the Spirit disguised as Samuel said "The Lord will deliver both Israel and you into the hands of the Philistines, and tomorrow you and your sons will BE WITH ME " He didn't mean heaven but hell as you cannot summon or speak to the dead. I was never super into ghost hunting, but I did use to watch people on UA-cam do ghost hunts, and there was one time that I went to a ghost tour with a local paranormal group at a cemetery with my dad; he scoffed it off and I took it semi-seriously at the time. My biggest thing was being wrapped up in all that supporting and being involved with the LGBTQ+ stuff shortly before it got super crazy, and the sad part is that I'm from a Christian family. My grandpa is a retired pastor and my family would go to his church on Sunday mornings, now since the lockdowns it's mostly been me reconciling his relationship with Christ and reading his Bible and going to church and stuff.

I really love this girl in her testimony, I felt compelled to write because on the first episode she seemed unsure still and maybe even afraid, and that is natural when you become a new Christian you still have forces that are trying to persuade you to live your old life and not your saved Life as a Christian, I don't understand when Angela mentioned Deliverance she kind of downplayed it saying she would take heat for it, we are delivered once we become saved, but there are many Ministries that can Deliver Us from things we still struggle with, as a Pentecostal of course I believe in all that but we don't go looking for demons around every corner so you have to really be Discerning who you're working with. Of course some Ministries go over the top and become unbiblical. The ghost of Samuel is a demon according with Church Fathers and the saints. I recommend to stick to Church Fathers and to Holy Tradition for a correct interpretation of the Holy Bible. By the way Holy Tradition precedes the Bible. The Bible is part of the Sacred Tradition but it is not all. St. John and also St. Paul refer oral tradition that is handing down throughout the ages.
Before I even watch this I have a question about water baptism. If you are not part of any denomination how can you be water baptised? I'm just a bit confused on that matter. I was raised Catholic and as an adult I called my church and told them to remove all records of me and that I do not want to be affiliated with them. I ended up becoming Agnostic and even Atheist. Since then I've went down the rabbit hole of denominations and it has been a huge headache. Methodist, correct me if I am wrong, is the second largest Christian religion. But right on their main website they are talking about gun control. Definitely not going to be a part of that. The closest thing I've found to my beliefs is Baptist (I think, I am not even sure because the whole ordeal is so confusing.). So how can you not be part of a denomination and still be baptised?
Hi! I'm not in a denomination either rn and although I was raised Protestant I want to get baptized too so I've been struggling with the same things since I was raised Christian but not going to any specific church. One thing that's helped me in my process of learning is the channel Ready To Harvest on here who covers different branches and denominations of Christianity and what they believe from a neutral standpoint although he is an Independent Baptist I think I could be wrong. The broad words like Methodist and Baptist actually hold a lot of opposing views in different churches so it's good to check their websites belief pages if you can or learn the history behind their denomination. I don't know how Angela was baptized exactly but there are churches that are Protestant that do not belong to any denominations called non-denominational churches. Sometimes they have networks or organizations with other churches with similar beliefs sometimes they are all on their own so what that specific church believes can get complicated. Non-denominational churches from what I've seen usually do baptize believers so although idk what Angela herself chose to do exactly that is a possibility for some people. Also not all churches require you to be a permanent member of their church to be baptized or have a long preparation phase it depends. Some denominations even baptize you right after you are saved.
@@bekahchu4102 My grandparents on my dad's side said they didn't pay attention to that stuff. They just went to different churches until they found a spot that felt right for them. I can't say I disagree with them. But I certainly don't want to support people that have a political agenda posted on the main web page. So I suppose I will just keep seeking God and see what happens. I want to go to church but I don't feel comfortable with it right now.
If you really want to have the wholeness of Christian Faith and deep answers I recommend you to find out and to study carefully Orthodoxy. Maybe you can visit a monastery or an Orthodox church nearby. Orthodoxy has a depth that you will not find in another church that sprout from protestantism. There is a continuity in Orthodox Church from the beginning till now and also in part in Catholic Church that you can not find in the countless protestant churches. There is a consistency, depth, beauty and many other things that you could find out. God bless!
check out Calvary Chapel. They do verse by verse exposition teaching and you can be baptized by water through immersion without having to be affiliated with a church, baptism is an outward expression of faith to signify the inward filling of the holy spirt.
I second looking for a Calvary chapel or a solid baptist church. Baptism isn't about organized religion, it's about you personally and outwardly identifying with and obeying Christ. Nowhere in the Bible is it a ritual or associated with a particular church. The Church as expressed in the Bible is the living, breathing body of Christ - made up of all believers who have declared Jesus as Lord, repented and accepted His sacrifice on the cross as payment for our sins. My suggestion is keep reading your Bible and asking God for discernment and wisdom. He promises to give wisdom freely. James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. Test everything you hear or read on what the Bible says. 1 Corinthians 12: 8- 10. We are also called to pray for both the dead and alive. Lost spirits are included in that and those with the gift of sight are called to do so. about 16 minutes in "God did it" now that's where it gets confusing, because if "God did it" then isn't God the power of mediumship? And if God Himself is the power of mediumship, then why does he hate it? I don't know what the Umin and the Thumim are, or even if I'm saying that right :P But what I get from that, earlier in the same passage, is that God did not speak to Saul by appointed means, and if God did not speak to Saul by appointed means, it seems wrong that He would speak to Saul by condemned means, therefore I cannot believe that "God did it" so I still have some questions there. It's a "hot potato" topic for sure, and probably deserves its own video😋
At the time of Samuel satan had control over Sheol because Adam had lost his authority so it was well within satans authority to have Samuel manifest. is why it was very important for Jesus to take the keys of death hell and the grave back at the cross. Jesus is the redeemer and only he could have taken away the sins of all who died from Adam up to that point for those to be back in paradise with God. When satan lost to Jesus his authority over the dead was lost as well. John Paul Jackson explains it a lot better than i can in one of his old videos.
I would encourage you to quote scriptures when referring to the bible. The word god does not say anything about satan being in charge of Of music and heaven.

What I mean is , in the real world I think it is incredibly difficult to live a holy life unless in my case I had become a priest or monk and left behind all the things I love like progressive house music and films, mysteries and some sports too! And lastly, I go visit my mum and dad graves quite often, ( I’m English from the north of England) and today I saw a woman visiting a new gravestone. I went to look after she left and it brought me to tears! It was a baby girl who’d died after just a few months! Despite the fact that you said you're Catholic, I can only infer that you don't understand the very basic ideas of Christianity. Please, please read a Bible. What are you trying to say about "other Christian based faiths" not making it to Heaven because they have not been saved? Being saved is what gets you to Heaven. It's belief in and having a relationship with Jesus. It's the only thing that gets you to Heaven. It has nothing to do with "Christian based religions." As far as your not liking being told that the world is evil because you don't want to be bored, I would encourage you to find something to do that's not evil. It's not difficult, you just need to learn to be discerning. We are called to be in the world but not of it. As far as the babies going to Hell idea, it's Biblical that they do not go to Hell. David says he will go to be with his son when he dies, which means the baby is in Heaven. It's great to ask questions, but you sound like you're really not into following Jesus, you just want to do what you want to do and hope that your label of Catholicism saves you. It won't. I'll pray for your salvation.

The ghost of Samuel is a demon according with Church Fathers and the saints. I recommend to stick to Church Fathers and to Holy Tradition for a correct interpretation of the Holy Bible. By the way Holy Tradition precedes the Bible. The Bible is part of the Sacred Tradition but it is not all. St. John and also St. Paul refer oral tradition that is handing down throughout the ages.
Before I even watch this I have a question about water baptism. If you are not part of any denomination how can you be water baptised? I'm just a bit confused on that matter. I was raised Catholic and as an adult I called my church and told them to remove all records of me and that I do not want to be affiliated with them. I ended up becoming Agnostic and even Atheist. Since then I've went down the rabbit hole of denominations and it has been a huge headache. Methodist, correct me if I am wrong, is the second largest Christian religion. But right on their main website they are talking about gun control. Definitely not going to be a part of that. The closest thing I've found to my beliefs is Baptist (I think, I am not even sure because the whole ordeal is so confusing.). So how can you not be part of a denomination and still be baptised?
Hi! I'm not in a denomination either rn and although I was raised Protestant I want to get baptized too so I've been struggling with the same things since I was raised Christian but not going to any specific church. One thing that's helped me in my process of learning is the channel Ready To Harvest on here who covers different branches and denominations of Christianity and what they believe from a neutral standpoint although he is an Independent Baptist I think I could be wrong. The broad words like Methodist and Baptist actually hold a lot of opposing views in different churches so it's good to check their websites belief pages if you can or learn the history behind their denomination. I don't know how Angela was baptized exactly but there are churches that are Protestant that do not belong to any denominations called non-denominational churches. Sometimes they have networks or organizations with other churches with similar beliefs sometimes they are all on their own so what that specific church believes can get complicated. Non-denominational churches from what I've seen usually do baptize believers so although idk what Angela herself chose to do exactly that is a possibility for some people. Also not all churches require you to be a permanent member of their church to be baptized or have a long preparation phase it depends. Some denominations even baptize you right after you are saved.
@@bekahchu4102 My grandparents on my dad's side said they didn't pay attention to that stuff. They just went to different churches until they found a spot that felt right for them. I can't say I disagree with them. But I certainly don't want to support people that have a political agenda posted on the main web page. So I suppose I will just keep seeking God and see what happens. I want to go to church but I don't feel comfortable with it right now.
If you really want to have the wholeness of Christian Faith and deep answers I recommend you to find out and to study carefully Orthodoxy. Maybe you can visit a monastery or an Orthodox church nearby. Orthodoxy has a depth that you will not find in another church that sprout from protestantism. There is a continuity in Orthodox Church from the beginning till now and also in part in Catholic Church that you can not find in the countless protestant churches. There is a consistency, depth, beauty and many other things that you could find out. God bless!
check out Calvary Chapel. They do verse by verse exposition teaching and you can be baptized by water through immersion without having to be affiliated with a church, baptism is an outward expression of faith to signify the inward filling of the holy spirt.
I second looking for a Calvary chapel or a solid baptist church. Baptism isn't about organized religion, it's about you personally and outwardly identifying with and obeying Christ. Nowhere in the Bible is it a ritual or associated with a particular church. The Church as expressed in the Bible is the living, breathing body of Christ - made up of all believers who have declared Jesus as Lord, repented and accepted His sacrifice on the cross as payment for our sins.
My suggestion is keep reading your Bible and asking God for discernment and wisdom. He promises to give wisdom freely. James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
Test everything you hear or read on what the Bible says. It is our direct message from God. Blessings to you on your journey!

about 16 minutes in "God did it" now that's where it gets confusing, because if "God did it" then isn't God the power of mediumship? And if God Himself is the power of mediumship, then why does he hate it?
I don't know what the Umin and the Thumim are, or even if I'm saying that right :P But what I get from that, earlier in the same passage, is that God did not speak to Saul by appointed means, and if God did not speak to Saul by appointed means, it seems wrong that He would speak to Saul by condemned means, therefore I cannot believe that "God did it" so I still have some questions there. It's a "hot potato" topic for sure, and probably deserves its own video😋
At the time of Samuel satan had control over Sheol because Adam had lost his authority so it was well within satans authority to have Samuel manifest. is why it was very important for Jesus to take the keys of death hell and the grave back at the cross. Jesus is the redeemer and only he could have taken away the sins of all who died from Adam up to that point for those to be back in paradise with God. When satan lost to Jesus his authority over the dead was lost as well. John Paul Jackson explains it a lot better than i can in one of his old videos.
I would encourage you to quote scriptures when referring to the bible. The word god does not say anything about satan being in charge of Of music and heaven.

My issue as a Roman Catholic is regrettably that following Christianity can be very dull. Also at the time of Jesus there were nothing like the distractions that exist in the world today. Imagine telling a child you are no longer going to listen to popular music, Taylor Swift for example. What I mean is , in the real world I think it is incredibly difficult to live a holy life unless in my case I had become a priest or monk and left behind all the things I love like progressive house music and films, mysteries and some sports too! And lastly, I go visit my mum and dad graves quite often, ( I’m English from the north of England) and today I saw a woman visiting a new gravestone. I went to look after she left and it brought me to tears! It was a baby girl who’d died after just a few months! And I’ve always wondered, she never heard of Jesus so how could she be sent to damnation as a baby??? Despite the fact that you said you're Catholic, I can only infer that you don't understand the very basic ideas of Christianity. Please, please read a Bible. What are you trying to say about "other Christian based faiths" not making it to Heaven because they have not been saved? Being saved is what gets you to Heaven. It's belief in and having a relationship with Jesus. It's the only thing that gets you to Heaven. It has nothing to do with "Christian based religions." As far as your not liking being told that the world is evil because you don't want to be bored, I would encourage you to find something to do that's not evil. It's not difficult, you just need to learn to be discerning. We are called to be in the world but not of it. As far as the babies going to Hell idea, it's Biblical that they do not go to Hell. David says he will go to be with his son when he dies, which means the baby is in Heaven. It's great to ask questions, but you sound like you're really not into following Jesus, you just want to do what you want to do and hope that your label of Catholicism saves you. It won't. I'll pray for your salvation.
