I bought the book “The Power of Now” thank God I didn’t read it, but I had that book with me in the hospital a year ago. Praise God I got rid of everything like that.
Yes, I was convicted on conversions with God when I was only a few weeks into my faith. A friend gave it to me and half way through the book, God told me to throw it away. It was a complete contradiction of the bible. It was completely new age.
Did it scare you that God could be so accessible, loving, and accepting? I try to imagine why anyone would be oppose to loving God that could love you that much.
I remember reading conversations with god when I was searching for God in 2021 and it left me uneasy, feeling dirty like contaminated and yakki but I couldn't tell why THANK YOU ANGELA,now I know why.... then I read the game of life and all that bla bla by Florence and it just took me further away from true God, I went in into their manifestation platform I don't want to mention, and a lot of craps, even tried to be hypnotised by a well known physiologists, AND SHE ASLO TRAIN NEW AGE PHYSCOLIGISTS, so we christians have to be aware of this. Thank you for bringing this up. I can imagine, many Christians are deceived by these books. I began to read "Conversations with God", while I was in New Age. But I could not finish it. Even then, I had a strange feeling, which was not tangible to me at that time. Although I was in New Age, I somehow knew that this was not the God of the Bible.
I listened to part of the audiobook conversations with god twice. The first was when I was just starting out in the faith, and I believed much of what I heard, because I was not rooted in the word yet. There were many things that I did not understand or that were well camouflaged in the whole as I listened to it, with the general ideas I had about the Bible. The second time, several years had passed, hours with the Lord and reading the Bible, and as soon as I heard him, something in my spirit began to alert me. I found many inconsistencies as I progressed, like deifying ourselves, like the fall of man in Eden was actually a blessing because now we had a more complete perspective on life, sometimes even the author gave thanks to the universe. We have to be very careful with what we let in.
Dear Angela, I am here after listening to your testimony shared with Isaiah, and I am so happy about this "Conversation with God" book's break down, as it was a massive hit in my European country at the time it came out. It was most probably a number one sell, word wide record hit for that matter... And marked deeply so many of my acquaintances as spiritually revolutionary, then. Myself included, having been molded and raised by New Ages' doctrines through my mother's library. And I very much recall the entrancing aura this book had, which I would even describe as kind of supernatural. For the anecdote, I have a dear friend who is still considerably moved by it 20 years later, even though I try to tell her relentlessly that it's about the first lie in the Garden that "we shall be as God(s)". To this day, the only thing making her doubt it as being truly of God, is that at some point, Neal's god develops on what would be the perfect, most appropriate form of governance for mankind, and very much describes a communist apparatus. ( I don't recall this passage precisely, neither could quote it, nor refer you to a specific page number, as I read it 20 years ago and don't wish to peruse it again, so I just take her word for it, sorry). Fortunately she's very much anti-communist, so that's pretty much the only the seed of doubt for her there 😄No matter what, praise God for it ! What I think I recall from this book, or maybe was it from the The Celestine Prophecy, (another massive world wide hit, I mix them all...) is that at some point when a people elevate so much spiritually, well... It then naturally makes the conscious choice to stop reproducing and yearn to disappear from the surface of the earth. Because it became just that "elevated". Reminiscing on it, a supposedly morally superior incitation just right against the first and only directive God gave us in the Garden, that is to be fruitful and multiply. Sometimes the lies are crafty, sometimes, they're very blatant. Likewise, many Eastern gurus have also came out in favor of the UN depopulation agenda and unabashedly advocated for the vaccines lately, which helped me to definitely sever ties, so again, thank God for it. Hi Angela, could you please do a whole video - possibly series on debunking NDEs (Near Death Experiences)? There are many channels but the one that comes to mind the most to me is Love Covered Life. Howard Storm is a huge one that is difficult because it did make him Christian. However, most of these testimonies and experiences are what make a lot of people deconstruct from Christianity so I believe it’s super important to address.
There's alot of NDE testimonies I've watched where they actually came to Jesus afterwards and were affirmed of God's love. But I have also heard some where they were shown something different that made them non-believers. Its interesting how everyone has a different experience but most ive heard seemed very biblical coded so to speak haha
Firstly it's not possible to "debunk" someone's lived experiences unless you managed to do some diagnostics on whether they're telling the truth or not. The only thing Angela could and probably would do is say that it's "unbiblical" throw in a few scriptures and viola "debunked", but that's not really debunking, because it's like using the book of Genesis to debunk the laws of nature that the evolutionary biologist's have discovered and use to measure the age of the earth. It won't work. Unfortunately for people who have such a strong "emotional" attachment to the bible there is this mission to curate a reality to fit their belief system instead of investigating what's actually real and build a belief system on that. Why? Maybe it's too scary, maybe there is such a strong investment in being a Christian that seeing what's true would break the fourth wall.

Honestly, it was reading “A Course in Miracles” that woke me up. Praise be to God. I became more comfortable with the trinitarian language used in ACIM, until I started to realize… this is not what Christianity says, and this woman is claiming to “channel Jesus”… why do I believe her? Because she spoke to my “itching ears” and said sin wasn’t real. I realized God was trying to lead me out of the falseness and more and more toward the truth. I woke up right then and there, I stopped blindly believing all the New Age BS and running on the hamster wheel, and dove in to finding out what all of it really meant. I QUICKLY realized it was all Satanic. HALLELUYAH!

Thank you for all your important work, Angela! This is great information which I will share with friends and family. If you haven't already, would you consider making an episode on A Course in Miracles? It's a book that's on the shelf of pretty much all of my NA friends and wildly popular. It's said to be "Jesus speaking to the author", so another channeled book. I had it on Kindle but got through maybe 15 (out of 300+) chapters until I lost interest. Same with Wayne Dyer and Eckhart Tolle's books. It's like God was subtly nudging me away from that stuff. I've heard from many New Age teachers about Conversations with God, and my aunt has also talked about it, and I was interested for a while, but Thank God I never read it. It's a minefield of heretical books out there and one needs to tread carefully and develop real discernment by comparing it to scripture and early church fathers. Speaking as an ex New Ager myself, and a babe in the faith, I didn't even consider reading the Bible until after I started listening to your podcast. So, glory to God! I just wanted to say that you're winning hearts for the kingdom of God and helping to free people out of demonic doctrines, so hallelujah! God bless you and your growing family!

Hello! So my sister is sort of decieved in the new age as well as other friends and family members. One thing I learned when trying to help her, is many people will not watch videos as we do; she completely rejects it. If he is the type that doesn't watch videos people send him, I recommend taking notes over her videos and interviews. It will take a while to write/ type it all out but I think it might be more beneficial. Maybe after all the notes you can send them in text to him or email.

It sounds like you've already crossed that bridge with him, and he has already made his choice. If you continue to push your values on him you could potentially risk pushing him even further away which isn't what you want. Drawing people closer to God is about mutual respect and building up genuine relationships. Meet people where they are at, just like Jesus did. Be an example of God's grace, and love. Be the change you want to see in others, and if they resonate it with it, and if God works on their heart, they will come to you. If telling him your truth didn't work, why do you think sending him more of the same is going to work? It won't work. It will reinforce the perception that you don't actually accept him for who he is, you just want to convert him so he becomes a person whom you do accept. Pray to God, trust that he will someday intercede. You did your part, now it's time to let the Holy Spirit work.
The real truth is so needed in this current day of New Age movement as I look back on history I see the same thing repeating in different Generations in different ways from demons thank you for speaking the truth
I have a question for Angela, or any Christian that wants to answer it. If Neale was open to having a "conversation with God", why didn't the "real" God of the bible answer him first? One would assume God/Jesus would have taken this opportunity to draw Neale closer to him to the biblical truth instead of what he actually got. I think of Job as an example.

No like OMGGG I knew something was suspicious about conversations with god...cuz the now new partner of my dad is a new age spiritualist and almost desperately wanted me to read this book to discover this "god"...but at that time i had been really getting to know the real God and Jesus i knew of all my life that had not truly known. But thankfully God has always been protecting me and giving me the Holy spirit to discern between right and wrong. So i admit that my first impression was: oh she wants to reccomend me something i believe in that she was against (very unusual of her), cuz the title was so deceiveing for people who are not 100% percent anchored in God's truth even if they believe in Him. She wanted me to take the book but i felt something wasn't right. And i wasnt gonna do something that can hurt me in my walk with God cuz i knew the one true word of God is the Bible and it was already written. As like what would God want to tell us that he hadn't already, especially 2000 years later?! And because of His discernment i hadn't taken that book, but rather read the one that have been always available for us- truly His word. Amen and glory to God. He is so good

Correction... The Bible was written over the course of about 6000 years, minimum 4000. The New Testament was written in the first couple centuries of AD. The OT was written several thousand years before Christ manifested in the flesh.

@@LiaGridley New age books are deceptive. The writings of heretics are dangerous because they teach false doctrines. Take for example the heresy of iconoclasm, one of the worst heresies of Christianity. If you read books where intended Christians are still iconoclasts you have to get rid of it.
I could tell right away “conversations with God” is false because The Most High God doesn’t even speak that way. From ancient scripture to how he pours out his spirit today, he’s very plain speaking & matter-of-fact.
That sounds about right, Why again aren't we allowed to read these books again? God speaks to us in different ways. Remember people thought Jesus performed miracles from demons. God is everything. So he can use everything and anything to show you things. You a baby christian that still needs milk for nourishment. It sounds like you've already crossed that bridge with him, and he has already made his choice. If you continue to push your values on him you could potentially risk pushing him even further away which isn't what you want. Drawing people closer to God is about mutual respect and building up genuine relationships. Meet people where they are at, just like Jesus did. Be an example of God's grace, and love. Be the change you want to see in others, and if they resonate it with it, and if God works on their heart, they will come to you. If telling him your truth didn't work, why do you think sending him more of the same is going to work? It won't work. It will reinforce the perception that you don't actually accept him for who he is, you just want to convert him so he becomes a person whom you do accept. Pray to God, trust that he will someday intercede. You did your part, now it's time to let the Holy Spirit work.
The real truth is so needed in this current day of New Age movement as I look back on history I see the same thing repeating in different Generations in different ways from demons thank you for speaking the truth

I have a question for Angela, or any Christian that wants to answer it. If Neale was open to having a "conversation with God", why didn't the "real" God of the bible answer him first? One would assume God/Jesus would have taken this opportunity to draw Neale closer to him to the biblical truth instead of what he actually got. I think of Job as an example.
I read cwg and even saw the movie. Believe it or not, there's a movie on it. Honestly, I was at such a low point in my life that I found new age at around 36 yrs old. I was into Dolores Cannon, Abraham Hicks, etc. Thank God I was saved. Christ is King and the Truth

hi! Saw you mentioned the book, "Jesus Calling," Why is it a book to be avoided. I haven't read it in a while but remember having that book.
No like OMGGG I knew something was suspicious about conversations with god...cuz the now new partner of my dad is a new age spiritualist and almost desperately wanted me to read this book to discover this "god"...but at that time i had been really getting to know the real God and Jesus i knew of all my life that had not truly known. But thankfully God has always been protecting me and giving me the Holy spirit to discern between right and wrong. So i admit that my first impression was: oh she wants to reccomend me something i believe in that she was against (very unusual of her), cuz the title was so deceiveing for people who are not 100% percent anchored in God's truth even if they believe in Him. She wanted me to take the book but i felt something wasn't right. And i wasnt gonna do something that can hurt me in my walk with God cuz i knew the one true word of God is the Bible and it was already written. As like what would God want to tell us that he hadn't already, especially 2000 years later?! And because of His discernment i hadn't taken that book, but rather read the one that have been always available for us- truly His word. Amen and glory to God. He is so good

Correction... The Bible was written over the course of about 6000 years, minimum 4000. The New Testament was written in the first couple centuries of AD. The OT was written several thousand years before Christ manifested in the flesh.

Instead read the writings and the lives of contemporary saints such as St. Paisios, St. Porphyrius or the Church Fathers such St. John Chrysostom, St. Basil, the great , St. Antony, the Great...Avoid not only New Age books but also writings from heretics. It needs a lot of discernment

@@LiaGridley New age books are deceptive. The writings of heretics are dangerous because they teach false doctrines. Take for example the heresy of iconoclasm, one of the worst heresies of Christianity. If you read books where intended Christians are still iconoclasts you have to get rid of it.
I could tell right away “conversations with God” is false because The Most High God doesn’t even speak that way. From ancient scripture to how he pours out his spirit today, he’s very plain speaking & matter-of-fact.
That sounds about right, Why again aren't we allowed to read these books again? God speaks to us in different ways. Remember people thought Jesus performed miracles from demons. God is everything. So he can use everything and anything to show you things. You a baby christian that still needs milk for nourishment. There were prophets that had visions…..there were prophets who preformed miracles/magic aka Moses. This aint no different. All in all if you’re called to the book. God created everything that means he is in everything. Meaning everything comes from ONE source….which is GOD. So you’re making God a liar. God is the God of even Satan 😂😂 He controls everything. Meaning people are from different parts of the world…so yes it is true that there are MANY paths, because people have different experiences in life. We are all not born the same…….but as it says in the bible….it NARROWS until you are one with GOD, Christ, and Holy Spirit….which is in everyone. You are ONE with Father, Christ, and Holy Spirit (everyone, the human collective, the universal collective). Be like LOT, faced of with Satan….helps your steadfastness and faith in Christ 😎
