Blitz, the gadget selection thing specifically says that you still have gadgets to unlock. I should know, I’ve gotten them all. The line about finding more gadgets goes away once you get them all. The gadgets can be unlocked in any game mode, so if you really want to just get them all before the end, select Relic Hunt, a small map, and the easiest difficulty. Before starting the run, either check your list of gadgets against a list of all the gadgets, or write your whole list of gadgets down. During the run, roll through your gadgets until you find whatever you’re missing, take it, and then finish the run. Congrats, new gadget unlocked! Also, I’m really surprised you haven’t gotten the immediate Health Meter and Inventory unlocks. They’re really useful, saving you two iron off the bat and unlocking dome auto repair, respectively.
It is a water heater. Not a hot water heater. If the water was already hot. You wouldn't need to heat it. Unless you wanted to superheat the water for steam.
Nono, the "hot" in "hot water heater" it's not referring to the water, but the water heater itself. If the water heater wasn't hot the water heater wouldn't be able to heat the water.
UPGRQDE YOUR HEALTH BEFORE REPAIRING WITH COBALT PLEASEEEEEE. The repair is a percentage of your max health, so if you have the upgrades you repair more. PLUS, your remaining health is also based off a percentage, so if you upgrade then you have more health too, as a sort of “pseudorepair.”
It doesn't matter, whenever you upgrade your health it is comparative or relative to the health you had before. It is the same percent of health you had before just in a larger sample.
@@eduardovenancio1171 If you have a max health of 1000, but your actual health is at 100 that is 10% of 1000. If you upgrade your health to 2000 while still at 10% health you'll have 10% of 2000 health which is 200. So basically if you upgrade your health you'll have the same percent of health just a different max.
@@jellyblob7206 You’re ignorant of the way Blitz is doing it. For the better half of the run, he is repairing for 60 HP (0.1*600) without any health upgrades. If he’d had the first or even second health upgrade, he’d be repairing for double or triple the HP (0.1*1200 or 0.1*1600) per cobalt. If he upgraded health in the SAME “pause timer” that he repairs during combat then there would be no problem, but because he leaves and proceeds to take damage, he essentially wasted a potential 60-120 HP worth’s of repairs, which adds up to 5, 10, possibly 20 cobalt throughout the run. NOT TO MENTION, your health is preserved based on percentage after upgrades as you correctly stated, so it’s most efficient to upgrade health BEFORE combat, not AFTER taking large chunks of damage. No offense but this is common sense (or should be).
@@agileflanker9989 Either way cobalt repairs 10% of your max HP no matter how much health you have or what health upgrade you have. So either way it doesn't really matter and should be common knowledge. Of course if you upgrade your health while having max or higher health that you will have more.
@@neefyu Yes, later in the video it is running, but it wasn't earlier. It's around 11:40 at 12:30 when he comes up it's not running either and he goes down again without starting it. Then the game stalls a bit.
Hey. Blitz actually listened to the comments I've been making forever about the iron worms guaranteeing three per iron on various UA-camrs' comment sections. Fast worms is important for this challenge, you want to get the double worms as early as possible. My other suggestion would be the drill instead of the suit blaster. Even with the iron deposits being smaller overall, they're still bigger deeper down, so if you start with the drill you can likely get a worm on some pretty good iron from lower down by like the second or third day. My setup for the challenge mode was artillery dome, drones, iron worms, and drill. Pretty sure I didn't even upgrade the drill, just let it do its thing while I branch mined and managed my worms.
Honestly, that went pretty well. Aside from low amounts of cobalt you had it pretty well set from start to finish. That converter was a game changer considering the ocean of water you were finding.
All that water would let you really boost the worms production. I'm not sure what's up with this game lately, but I haven't seen the stun laser in ages. I've never seen the saws. Glad to hear you were able to fix your hot water heater. The last hot water heater I had an issue with was the one in an apartment we were renting. It burst open and flooded our place. I lost 12 boxes of books I'd brought home from our storage shed that I was going to sort between "shelf or sell." About $4K of books lost, my insurance said they wouldn't cover it because "they're collectibles"
Blitz, you don’t understand how the worms work. They only get double or triple iron if you upgrade them. For this entire run, they were only mining one-for-one iron.
Cobalt contribution is deceptively easy. There's really not too many upgrades that take it, and as long as you get back to your dome and don't take much damage, it's pretty easy to get the 20 cobalt within 10 round.
Not sure if you’ll see this but I just got the game and might have found one of the best combinations for gadgets, the resource suit compactor, iron worms and the lift, once the compactor smashes the clumps into one blob the lift can carry three blobs at once which could be up to 27 iron with no lift upgrades
i find that an abundance of water gives me the luxury of the adaptive wave warner and autoheal! might help you know when to get back if you're super deep and you've already mined a surplus of water :)
I wanna see cobalt contrivution next. And heres a tip:Max stun laser can be op, I saw a video where he stunned the monster forever, he was on round 5 max upgrades
This was so painful to watch, upgrading health so late wasting cobalt, not upgrading the worms to at least make them faster if he didn't want extra resources, not using the converter, character upgrades so late. At least he won, this man is blessed by the blindfolded goddess
hey blitz, fantastic video as allways, but why do you have a"hot-water-heater"? shouldnt you heat up cold water? hehe (may be a language barrier thingy but i thought it would be funny :D )

Why do people mine every 3 rows? Granted I've not played core keeper, but I've seen a lot of core keeper on yt. Everyone seems to do this, but I feel like it makes way more sense to go every 4 rows, leaving 3 blocks between each tunnel. Yes there's a possibility of missing single block resources, but it's pretty low and going every 4 blocks gets you through the whole map much faster. Also if you find the better vision upgrade, or a scanner, you could find the very few things you miss. Can anyone tell me why it's worth doing every 3 rows? Seems to me getting deeper and finding upgrades faster is worth way more than potentially missing a little less than 25% of single block resources.

No double iron.
Well, this is iron shortage challenge
aw fiddlesticks not our iron

Can make free iron from iron, and keeps forgetting to do it.
I thought Blitz had it automated once he unlocked it. Once it produced the iron the drones cleaned it up straight away.
@MadmanJnr It doesn't start automatically it just spits it out after it's done. He didn't restart it, as the lights were not on.
It only spits out the resources automatically when it's also set to restart automatically.
