Actually, even unupgraded or going down the fast path, the iron worms guarantee that you get three iron per tile, while mining it manually gives you 1-3. Even the fast worms get you more iron overall than your drill.
Also, the iron worms don't double the iron, they just add one extra iron per upgrade on that path. So with Diligent Worms, you get four iron per tile, and with Meticulous Worms, you get five.

Once the drones ramp up its hilarious how much you get. The worm drone pair is insane though. Saves you so much time and effort, just find the multi nodes and drop the worm off then elave to go do more digging elsewhere. Only have to haul relics and like, water, back to get the next major speed or number boost for drones.

For one of these, you should definitely try to clear the map. Go for a 100% cleared, no ores left, no dirt left challenge.
Yeah the monster madness one is kind of tough. I recommend the Dome armor, shield, and laser dome
Werent there big masses of weak monsters? If i remember right i used tesla dome (no armor etc) and it was fairly easy.
No this is in the last line of stuff to do and it wasn't just weak monsters, the slammers aren't considered weak yes they are slow but they do huge amounts of damage. Twin lasers were able to keep the side clear as long as you got that upgrade . The Tesla couldn't keep up killing things fast enough.
Some people are already commenting on how great the episode is even if its been out for only like 10 minutes theres no way they watched it all in that little time

If you look closely at the worms when they come out, they're little Drillberts : )
Also, the really giant worms are Amazonian. You can hear them sucking through the mud. When I was in college, we watched a short film of a tribe that used to eat them. Nasty barely scratches the surface.
Blitz, allow me to tell you that you can press the button on the furnace multiple times, using multiple resources at once for greater effect
Hey Blitz! I'd love to see you play Feed the Deep! It's a game by an indie dev about diving and collecting resources. (It's quite reminiscent of Dome Keeper actually) The dev is Luke Muscat (the guy who made Fruit Ninja btw) who has been recording his development for a while now, and the game finally released today! I love it and think you probably would too.
You can get a lot more defensive drones if you max out the tree. The overcharge tree gives even more and makes them more powerful.
Long Lasting Battle Drones is what I usually go with.
In fact the first Battle Drones upgrade I usually rush as the drones can solo the early waves entirely unaided for maximum mining time.

Blitz when your done with those challanges could you so a custom one where you dig out the entire map with the indestructible rock?
You can also redo guild assignments on challenge to get badges if you don't want to do the only one unlocked.
If you cannot pick anything up why are you able to pick worms up?
This game needs two things 1. More variation on endings 2. Returning the name to Dome Romantica
It’s not nothing it’s set so u can’t upgrade the drill at all

You can't upgrade your carry strength, but can still carry 4 resources, or the other various doodads you need to play.
Done keeper is a better name for marketing purposes. You instantly get a sense of the objective of the game from reading the tile, you are the keeper of a dome, so you take care of it and protect it. Dome romantik sounds like you are just a guy who is really into domes and probably wants to date one or something.

I've gotten really attached to the drilling rig. Getting drones, worms and drills is just amazing.
It's always fun to see blitz do new challenges, I can't wait untill the challenge versions. When you had all the extra iron, it could be used on the battle or parasitic drones with cobalt to upgrade them without water.
I could quite literally go and play domekeeper myself, but it’s just so much more entertaining to watch you play lol

This challenge is literally free, if you use the Assessor. It's only hard if you make very poor decisions with what you pick, like Blitz did here.

Drilling rigs is extremely broken with it supplement when it come to strip mining, not to mention the radar cave enabling you to strip mine 4 block apart. I swear my map is always 70-80% excacated with it
3:10 I doubt they are bigger than the worm in Gears of War 2 that the squad kills using a chainsaw bypass surgery. Yes you read that right.

I watched your first dome romantik video and it was really confusing because you were also doing a dorf romantik playthrough at about the same time if im remembering right.

seed does not need to be planted on iron. It will produce iron when placed anywhere. Seed planted on four tiles with iron and water and cobalt is ideal. And ya. seed on tiles of more then four take forever. But if like like iron here, water 3 tiles away and cobalt 2 in diff direction. as long as path is there. it will find them

God, watching you scroll past the battle drone upgrades is painful. I'm personally more of a fan of the quick drones over the long lasting, they just seem to do more work. Could just be bias, though.

I found it to be on of the easiest, they give u enough cobalt to finish it, as long as u don’t have to repair the dome over like 5 times , and if u get the dome resurrection supplement , even better because it won’t auto repair

"Literally got everything", DUDE you ignored TWO EXTRA LEVELS of combat drone! You get more of them, and they get tougher. How could you just not see them!!?? That's half of the point of having drones!

Kinda made me mad that you say you can't upgrade anything while you can clearly still upgrade your drones and the furnace. They aren't super useful at that point, but they are there. And why wouldn't you just get them? Any resources unspent when you win aren't saved. Just spend the resources and upgrade.
