    Thank you for explaining how to properly clip!I I’ve experienced splitting after clipping, so this is very helpful.

    I keep nail tools in my car, my purse, work and at home. You never know when you’ll need them and prevents me from picking and pulling!!

    I have the full sized pusher tool and it looks like the only difference is the length of the handle, at least from what I can tell. They seem like the same size.
    One of those hard sunglasses cases works great as an emergency manicure kit, they need to include something like that. I use one, and it's big enough to include one of those refillable brush pens full of nail oil.

    Do you have a video on what a personal manicure kit should include? Like what tools, files etc would you recommend for us who regularly do our nails at home? :)

    I am learning so much from your videos, and I am working to improve the health of my nails. Can you do a video about how to shape the skin around your nails over time?

    Thank you SOOO much for this video!! Please tell me what you mean by "one little hit" will ruin the nippers? Do you mean not to use the tips?🤔💜💜💜

    • @TheSalonLife
      @TheSalonLife  Рік тому +1

      Hi Rose, If were to hit the tips of the nippers. One little hit to the ends can ruin them :) So it is good to be mindful how they are put away, cleaned, and make sure to not drop them. Hope that helps :) - MSL

      @@TheSalonLife i just want to make sure I understand, so I don't wreck these new ones -- is it okay to use the tips to cut with? It looks to me like maybe you are using an area back further from the tips? You move fast and my eyes aren't great. I also prefer to use those if I need to take off length. My nails are unique due to a genetic connective tissue disorder so the smoothness of the pinch, just on the sides of the nails, similar to how I've seen you do with clippers, allows them to not split. Will using the tips this way mess them up?🤔💜💜💜

    I am a subscriber. I know it’s “your channel” and you can do what you wish, but for the new folks such as I, who is the gentleman? Not necessarily who he is to you, but does HE have any knowledge in the cosmetology field? As a newer subscriber, I have found that I have been perplexed by his commentary. (For example the review on the cuticle oil in the pink tube. He said it looks like a douche - no it looks like paints from way back in the day. In essence it didn’t draw me in, it put me off). What is his purpose aside from being the hand model and assistant? Unless he has some buy in as a healthcare or cosmetic provider, I have found him to be a bit distracting to your professional commentary. No disrespect meant at all. If he is a podiatrist or dermatologist and the like, my apologies. I am used to hearing your voiceovers and such with quoted resources. It may just be me. I just have to be honest.

      Hello April! Thank you so much for your comment and constructive criticism! I appreciate it! What can I say, we all have different sense of humour and not all the videos are the same. Sometimes we have some fun and joke around. I understand not everyone likes all the videos and we appreciate honest input :)
